I love Pur Minerals and have positive things to say about most of their products. They are eco-friendly, cruelty free and they also do not do any animal testing which is a big plus.
I was looking to get a lighter-feeling foundation that still offers high coverage for the summer and I decided to give this a try. It also has a SPF 15 which is a nice added touch although not necessary in my coverage. Unfortunately, there isn't much selection when it comes to colours and I chose to pick up the lightest shade without testing it on myself which was a mistake. I purchased "Light" and it was way too orange, it was very noticeable. I was able to tone down the orange with A LOT of blending.
My skin also looked very shiny and oily which wasn't too big of a problem because I was able to correct it with a setting powder. I am only a combination skin type but I don't think somebody with more oily or acne-prone skin would really like this foundation. I feel it is a better fit for medium-dark tones with a normal or dry skin type.
I think I would have enjoyed the product more overall had I been able to get a better colour match and if Pur Minerals ever released more shades then I may consider giving this another try.

This gel absorbs any excess oils, removes any impurities in your skin and you can almost feel it cleaning deep into your pores. It leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean and soothed because of the added Thermal Water in the formulation.
I like to wet my entire face, apply one pump to my finger tips and then rub in. I then wet my hands and add more water to my face and it turns into this creamy and smooth emulsion that is so satisfying and comforting. The cleanser does have a light, fresh and clean scent but not one that I believe would cause a sensitive skin any irritation, I add water to the emulsion three times before I rinse it off and apply my appropriate moisturizer.
It is reasonably priced for a Derm Quality cleanser, only 19.95$ and it also goes on sale quite a bit if you are able to watch the flyers. I only wish it became available in a bonus size more often, I always see the Vichy 3-in-1 Milk Cleanser and the Vichy Micellar Water in a larger, value sized bottle.

I usually like to use the Vichy Dermablend setting powder but I had recently ran out and unfortunately we had none in stock at work (I work Cosmetics at Shoppers Drug Mart). I cannot go without a setting powder, especially when it is more humid out and I knew that GOSH that this powder and I knew it worked similarly and I had recommended it to customers as a cheaper alternative to the Dermablend so I decided to give it a try!
I am so glad that I did! This product was easy to apply and felt light on my face and also absorbed any excess oil without leaving my skin feeling dry. My makeup also stayed all day long and I looked like I had just applied my makeup when leaving work when I actually didn't even touch up. Also, even thought the powder is white it applies as a translucent powder, if you use too much though I feel it may leave a bit of a white residue.
I do not really like the little sponge applicator pad it comes with and I just use my normal powder brush when I apply and I also take a small concealer brush and apply some powder over my liner to act as a barrier to help hold it in place as well. I do recommend you brush on your mascara AFTER you've applied this powder because sometimes the powder falls off the brush and onto your lashes and it can leave them looking a little dull and fade the black (or whatever colour you use) on your lashes.

This is a summer time must have! It will leave your skin looking dewy, fresh and glowing.
You can apply it alone and allover your face, apply it over your foundation, mix in into your foundation or just apply it on the areas you want to highlight. I usually either mix it with my foundation to get an all-over healthy shine or I just apply under my brows, on my cheekbones and even on my color bones.
It gives just the perfect amount of highlight - not too much that it looks unnatural but enough to notice that you have a highlight. If you are somebody who prefers a prominent highlight then this is a product you can layer and develop the desired look you want.
It has a light-cream texture and a little goes a long way which is great because it is significantly more expensive than other highlighters on the market. It feels smooth while applying and does not feel dry or tight on the face - a problem I've experienced with other highlighters.
I only have one negative review aside from the price and that is the packaging. I would prefer if it had a different applicator and not a nail polish brush. I usually take the brush and apply it to the back of my hand and use the tips of my fingers to apply it. I feel too much comes off the brush and it can be harder to blend.
Overall, it is an excellent product if you have the money to spare and I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

I love the Benefit Pore Eraser primer but I always hesitate because it is quite pricey but this is considered a dupe so I thought I would try it - It was horrible.
The texture was so slimy, almost plastic-like and felt very thick on my face like my skin could not breath. Every time I touched my face I could feel the primer and it did not feel smooth or velvety, it just felt greasy.
Typically my foundation and powder stays put throughout the day but with this as a primer my makeup was running and faded off within a few hours. I thought maybe I was applying too much so I did give it a few other tries and used less and less of the product each time and I was still left with the same result.
Although my skin did not necessarily FEEL good this primer did seem to "blur" my pores so my skin did LOOK good and smooth. So, if you are able to see past the texture and consistency you are left with really nice looking skin but unfortunately it does not last long.

This is a great product to use to prevent scarring and speed up the epidermal healing process.
The texture is a little thick and I would describe it more like a balm than a cream, could leave you feeling a little greasy if you apply too much. I get hormonal acne flare-ups and I sometimes have a small residual scar/scab type spots afterwards so I apply a small dab of this and it helps it to heal quicker. I also get some flakes and dryness around the corners of my nose and this product helps to moisturize as well as it has thermal water in it as an ingredient.
Avene is a brand known for being suitable for sensitive skin so you do not need to worry about irritating or having a reaction to the product because it does have a little bit of an intimating scent to it. It can be used for a variety of different skin concerns: diaper rash, burns, scraps, post-procedure skin, minor irritations etc and it is also safe to apply to mucous membranes which is quite rare. Avene has also just recently dropped the price of a tube to 16$, I cannot remember what it was before. The tube is also quite large, you only need a small amount and should last a while depending on how often you use it. It is cheaper than La Roche Posay Cicaplast or BioDerma Cicabio which all work the same way and share similar ingredients.

It glides on smooth and you do not need to apply any pressure to the brush to have a prominent and sharp line. It has a creamy texture and it is so easy to glide on, I would even recommend this product to beginners.
I usually only wear it when I am going out for a night and I want a more dramatic, nighttime make-up look. It gives me the drama I want and also stays in place all night even while I am dancing/sweating.
Only negative thing I have to say is that it can dry up in the pot before I use it all up but I do not mind replenishing it because it isn't overly expensive.

This perfume is VERY sweet and initially I was overwhelmed. I like sweet scents but I feel this to be a little too much, the cotton candy is overpowering and I didn't pick up on any other scent or tone.
The scent is strong but doesn't last, you only smell like a cotton candy explosion for a few moments then it fades. It seems more like a body spray to me than an actual perfume.
This would be perfect for a young girl in high school who is just beginning to get into scents and fragrances. It is not really a sophisticated or mature smell and it is affordable. You can sometimes find it at Shoppers Drug Mart for 19.99$.

These are great deodorants that get the job done. I sweat quite a bit and my underarms also get itchy and this product helps to stop the sweating and sooth the itching.
You don't get residue marks on your clothes and you also can't see a deodorant film when you left your arms - you really can go sleeveless.
I think I have tried all of the scent options and my favourites are Shea Butter or Soothing Chamomile, both very fresh and clean. I am not usually a fan of berry or sweet underarm scents.
I prefer this product over Secret deodorants , these are more soothing and comforting to your underarms.

Earlier this year my skin started to develop mystery rashes and irritations and I could not figure out what it was. (It ended up being my laundry detergent). But in that time it seemed every body wash or soap irritating my skin further, but not this one.
This is a great body wash if you have intolerant, dry skin. The Oatmealingrediant is soothing and also moisturizing. My skin felt fantastic afterwards and it seemed to bandage up my rashes and I was able to forget about it for a little while. There is no prominent scent to it but you do get out of the showering smelling clean and fresh. It has a thicker texture than some body-washes I have used which is great because I can use less and it will cover and lather more.
I have not had any irritations in quite a few months but I continue to purchase this product because it feels so soft on my skin and its reasonably price.
