I received the Aveeno Calm & Restore Age Renewal Serum free to try from Butterly! In general Aveeno products have been hit or miss for me however I was excited to try this new product. You get the serum in a nice frosted glass bottle with a nice pump that dispenses the product, a few pumps is more than enough to cover you entire face, the serum texture is nice, pretty standard for a serum but applies fantastically - it absorbs really well, sits well under other skincare and just makes your skin look so nice.
I have to say this is my new favorite item from Aveeno and has replaced my $90 Serum - this really is an amazing serum and I wasn't expecting it from Aveeno, I've just run out of it and I'm sad I don't have any more but I absolutely will be buying this again it's that good.

I received the Aveeno Calm & Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel from Butterly for free to try out - The gel comes in a generous frosted glass small bottle, the gel is a nice texture and a very little goes a long way, you don't need to use a lot at all. There is a slight fresh smell to it but overall it is a nice gel. In terms of effectiveness, these things take awhile to really see the effects however for me personally I didn't really see much of a difference and in general I don't really use eye creams so in respect to the effectiveness it is nice and moisturizing and feels nice on the skin however I'll have to try it out more to see the real effects. -

Aveeno Tone & Texture Renewing Night Cream has some great ingredients such as Niacinamide and a prebiotic oat formula nourishes the skin while you sleep and also is supposed to create smoother softer skin. For me this was ok - I'd have to use it a bit more to see if it truly does work in terms of the toning and softer textured skin but it is a neat concept for this to happen while you sleep. The one thing I absolutely hate is the smell of this cream - it has that Oat smell but not in a good way, it does last very long on the skin but it doesn't make my excited to use the cream. You get a good amount of product and it absorbs quickly into the skin so should last for awhile and is great for people with sensitive skin or for those that want nice soothing ingredients. -

As Aveeno is known for their really nice soothing, calming and nourishing ingredients that Calm & Restore Therapy Balm is no exception. This balm as the name suggests is a thicker consistency cream that is for deeply moisturizing all of you're dry sensitive areas - I've personally been using this on my hands as I get very dry hands and need to use hand cream all the time, this will be perfect for the winter months especially at night to allow you're hands to heal overnight and get them really moisturized. Since this is a balm it is a greasier than I generally like for hand cream however that's ok - I just rub it off my palms but it does make my hands super soft once applied and it does absorb very nicely.
I definitely would recommend this to anyone that has very sensitive skin that needs a little extra help especially during winter months however for me I probably wouldn't re-purchase just because I have other products that are just as good however this is a very good product.

Aveeno Calm & Restore PHA Exfoliator is the perfect exfoliator for people that cannot use a physical exfoliant or have very sensitive skin - Aveeno is know for their soothing, nourishing and calming ingredients and this is no exception. For me while I love the concept - this product just isn't for me for a few reasons, the consistency of this product is very runny almost like a light lotion feel, application is fairly simple just spread it on where you want to exfoliate but afterwards I didn't really see any difference after using this product. There is no scent to this product and the tube is a bit small for a exfoliator especially if you're going to plan on using it every day as I don't think it will last that long.
Overall I do love the idea behind this and I do think a lot of people will really love it and work for some but for me this just wasn't for me and didn't find it really did anything

I didn't see any significant changes however the serum does apply nicely and absorbs well into the skin. It has a nice scent but wouldn't call it overly fragranced. The reason I gave it only 3 stars was because I started to nice my face was feeling very itchy and almost dry like .. the rest of my skincare routine remained the same except for this serum, for that reason I wouldn't purchase this however I would still recommend it since it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. -

My thoughts on the packaging of the deodorant is the same as my review on the men's one, love the stainless steel packaging and the fact that you can just buy the refill's and it saves plastic packing - win win!!
Effectiveness of the deodorant was ok for me - I didn't hate it however if you sweat a lot and are typically a bit stinky then this might not be for you since it is natural - you can usually smell yourself quite a bit.
The consistency is gel like and is very "sticky" feeling - I'm not a huge fan of sticky deodorants however they aren't deal breakers and since my t-shirts usually take care of that it was ok for me. Smell is a nice clean cucumber smell - I liked it but may not be liked by everyone.
The reason I gave 3 stars was because of it's effectiveness isn't what I personally like in deodorants and also mine broke after using it for a week and a half - the actual gel part broke of the base so it's basically unusable to me now which was a bit irritating.
Overall - I would recommend it to people to at least try out, I'm not sure I would re-purchase but I'm so happy I was able to try it out.

1st I would say is that this is a great concept, love the stainless steel case with the idea that you just buy it once and then you buy refills after that, it cuts down on plastic containers going in the garbage which is a plus.
The scent of the deodorant is very nice, you can definitely smell the cucumber - the actual deodorant part is a gel like consistency so not powder. For the men's deodorant, my husband wasn't a fan and wouldn't purchase this. For him he wasn't a huge fan of the smell and especially the consistency being a gel like formula, the deodorant is very "sticky" feeling which he absolutely hates - it's a deal breaker for him when choosing deodorants. The most important thing in a deodorant is how well it worked, for him he didn't like smelling as he sweats a lot and after a long while he was definitely smelling ripe lol - natural deodorants just don't work for him and this was one of them
Overall I gave it 3 stars because of the idea and design around it but in terms of working for him it didn't at all unfortunately.

I was very excited to receive this sample and try it out. I am always looking for affordable skin care from the drugstore. This cream is a thicker texture, very much reminds me of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night cream I had to chance to try, a little goes a long way with this cream as it spreads very nicely.
The cream absorbs nicely into your skin but doesn't feel heavy for being thicker and doesn't feel greasy either. Usually with face creams I can tell pretty quickly if they will work for me by how my skin feels the next day, I can't speak for the 72h claim as I would never not wash my face for 72h however I can definitely say that the hydration lasts for awhile. The day after I used the cream my face didn't feel dry and didn't look dry right up until the time I washed my face so that is a great thing for me.
Over all I would recommend anything to give this a try and I'm excited to see this in stores and see what other products are available, I'm always excited to see drug store skin care that's affordable, clean and cruelty free.
The only suggesting I would make to Covergirl themselves is that for future samples, it would have been nice to receive the full size version of it as a small sample pack like that only lasts for a 2 or 3 uses at most - so it's not a lot to really try the product out.
