My hair has been the same length probably since Grade seven. No kidding. But I've always wanted longer stronger hair. I've tried countless hair treatments claiming to lengthen hair, extensions and even sew in weave. After watching a video on YouTube from one of my favorite gurus "AlbaMayo" she recommended using Mane & Tail's conditioner and shampoo. So, I gave it a shot and was pleasently surprised at the results. So, I basically went "Mane & Tail Crazy" and bought a lot of their products. But I have to say, the product I must thank for my hairs dramatic growth would be their Maximum Herbal Gro Hair treatment. I love it, and it has lasted me incredibly long. When, or if I ever run out of this stuff, I will definitely repurchase it! -

The L'Oreal Telescopic line are products that I actually really love. I am probably their number one customer when it comes to their liquid eyeliner because I've gone through so many tubes of it. So, when I heard about their new Telescopic Explosion The concept was pretty simple. A smaller, sphere shaped brush would be perfect for those inner lashes you can't reach very well with the average mascara wand. The first couple uses were phenomenal! I thought I had found my new holy grail mascara. However, I found that on days where I do not have much time to get ready, like for school, this mascara is way too time consuming. It does do what it is supposed to however, I just don't think it's very practical. It honestly takes me twice as long to do my eye make up using this mascara than it usually does with other "normal" mascara wands. I would say that this product is good, and the concept is good as well. But, it just isn't for people who don't want to spend an hour doing their make up. -

As a lot of people know, Maybelline's FitMe line has had much hype and mixed reviews. But a foundation that is supposed to match my skin perfectly? I had to try it. My skin type is oily combination so it's pretty difficult for me to find a foundation I like. This definitely was not one that I was fond of. The shade of foundation was perfect for my skin, the application was wonderful with a stippling brush, and the foundation felt super lightweight. The only downfall of this product would be that it just didn't work for my skin type. Even when used with a setting powder, this foundation made my skin look incredibly oily and not cute at all! The product overall is pretty good, and the concept is great as well. I just would not recommend this product to anyone with oily combination skin or even combination skin. -

I have tried endless amounts of tinted moisturizers looking for one that gave me the coverage that I needed, but the lightweight feel that I want. So far, the Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Tinted Moisturizer has been the best one I've ever tried. This product has truly been my best friend this summer! My skin type is probably oily combination so I am always hesitant when it comes to trying new foundations and tinted moisturizers. However, this product is amazing! It covers up all my redness and blemishes but never feels heavy or like a foundation. I use this product with Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Finish Concealer and it works beautifully! The only suggestion that I have for you other ladies with combination skin is to set the tinted moisturizer with something mattifying. I personally use the FitMe compact powder from Maybelline. -

I've always been on the hunt for a lengthening and volumizing mascara. But, being the "bargain hunter" that I am, I've geared more towards the cheaper "Maybelline" and "CoverGirl" products. Yes, those products might only be a dollar or two more than higher end drugstore brands such as "Revlon" and "L'Oreal" but every dollar counts! However, the effectiveness of the cheaper drugstore brand mascaras weren't cutting it for me. So, I decided to go out and splurge on a Revlon mascara whose beautiful green packaging caught my eye. I've beein using this product everyday for about 2 months now, and I can honestly say that every dollar put into it was WORTH IT! This mascara is everything I've been looking for, and more! It lengthens my lashes and gives them a more volumizing look. I also believe that Revlon's claims for additional lengthening to your actual lashes from their special formula are spot on! I've seen a slight change in the length of my lashes and I am loving it! I do find however, that this mascara makes my lashes look longer when I do not use an eyelash curler. This product has helped me to stop my cheap ways and see that those extra dollars make a HUGE difference in quality and effectiveness. -

I've seen video after video about how amazing the Evian Mineral Water Spray is and how moisturizing it is from countless amounts of YouTube makeup gurus. So, I decided to go out and get myself a small bottle to try it out and see what all the fuss was about. I have to say, I was really excited to try it because these makeup gurus have never steered me wrong before. However, after trying the spray for about 3 months I have to say it is a total rip off. I've seen it do absolutely nothing for my skin and believe I paid $14.00 on a well designed water bottle. I see no practical use for it at all in my beauty/skincare routine. And, to be completely honest, I've been using this product as a training device with my new puppy to scold him from biting my make up brushes. The only use I see for this product would either be as a training device for dogs (haha), or something to spritz on your face on a hot summer day. I would not recommend this product to anyone because it is a complete waste of money. -
