Dove is a great economical line that offers good quality. This extends to their line of Go Fresh products. I have tried both the Body Mist in Grapefruit and Lemongrass, and Cucumber and Green Tea. I myself am more partial to the Cucumber and Green Tea - it has a soothing aura versus the zing of Grapefruit and Lemongrass. The Mist does not have the staying power of perfume but it comes in a nice travel sized container making it oh so handy to keep around in a purse or on travels for freshening up! -

This is a 'sequel' to L'Occitane's "Cherry Blossom Eau de Toillette". I actually prefer the scent of "Cherry" to "Cherry Blossom".
'Cherry' is a scent that immediately transports you to a summer or spring setting. It is such a fresh, light but powerful and enchanting scent. I have some questions as to its staying power - I myself can't recognize its presence after 3 or 4 hours but according to the compliments I still receive even after so many hours, it does indeed stay.
Because it is so reminiscent of Summer and Spring it is a scent that you probably won't want to wear in Fall or Winter - but that means you won't go through it so quickly! I have overall thoroughly enjoyed this perfume from L'Occitane.

This is a wonderful alternative to more expensive mineral-brand blushes. I do not use the rest of Maybelline's Mineral Power line but I do use this blush. It is a great value (averaging $8-$10 US), lasts a long time (you do not need to use too much), fairs well in terms of staying power, comes in a variety of natural colors (plums, mauves, pinks, corals) and like most mineral makeup, is easy to apply. Plus, if you ever find yourself in a makeup emergency, you know that you will be able to easily find this at any nearby drugstore, retail store, or the like and it won't hurt your wallet. -

I actually received this as part of a gift but I am guessing that it probably costs an average of $20 from a professional salon. It's really a multi-purpose product as it serves to: protect hair color from fading (thus the title Antifade Complex), give hair a boost (PureVolume Thickening Mist), and I just want to throw in it's capacity to give your hair shine.
As I use a shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair of a different brand - when I color my hair I can't effectively attest to its abilities to keep treated hair from fading. That being said, the entire brand which is for color treated hair, can really be used by anyone for anything, in my opinion. This is the one product that I can definitively say made my hair appear and feel thicker and shinier. Unlike traditional hair spray or mousse, it is soft and natural to the touch. I don't use a lot of hair care products ( I haven't found many that I think are effective or worthwhile).
This particular mist is a blend of lemongrass, papaya, and ginseng and contains No Alcohol (I like that part). BUT don't put too much on! I got a little spray-happy and found that while my hair was still damp (which is when you put the product on) it felt somewhat goopy BUT when it dried it was fine. Again, it does not take very many sprays to do the job. Plus, if it is important to you, this brand is not tested on animals (I like to hear that!) and is 100% vegan (vegetarian o-kay, but vegan?! Well, whatever, it works:) )

Cato is a good-value clothing and accessories store. I like to shop for clothes based on if I like the style and how much it costs. I don't shop exclusively according to brand names because in my opinion, in the grand scheme of things, who cares?! Of course, it is nice to have staple items in one's wardrobe that often means you shell out a bit more money for them - now I'm off-topic! Cato, however, is an overall good value buy - they have clothes in every size and style and they carry seasonal items (so out of season items are on sale!) They also carry really cute handbags, wallets, watches, and jewelry all at a really good price. They don't always have clothing that I want to buy and the quality isn't the absolute best but it isn't bad. Really good store for filling out your seasonal wardrobe! -

I love, love, love the scent of lavender. I guess I can see how this hints of lavender but it is not a pleasant smell - it smells more metallic-y (I have no idea why it smells like metal to me. What does metal smell like anyway? But, for some reason it reminds me of, say, iron). The texture is light but I find that for my sensitive skin, the feel of it, the scent of it, and the use of it just doesn't bode well for keeping my face clear. I enjoy other Philosophy products (shower gels and perfumes) but... this I'm not sold on. It's a Nope for Hope! -

Mod Cloth, or modcloth.com, is a fantastic site to find retro/mod but wearable clothing, accessories, shoes, and home accessories. Not all of their clothing is "retro/mod" in the usual sense but it is all very cute! The prices vary according to each item but there are A LOT of great buys you can find under the different categories. I bought a watch from them - with a clock face, compass, and thermometer all-in-one! - and they shipped it quickly and without any problems. I really enjoy just looking around even if I'm not wanting to buy anything. -

My dermatologist recommended the Cetaphil line for my sensitive and acne prone skin. I had never even heard of it before but it is worth every penny. The Daily Facial Cleanser is different from the Gentle Skin Cleanser (which is a different consistency and can be used without water). This is a foaming face wash without any fragrance, dyes or fillers. It washes away impurities (makeup, dirt, oil) and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. It helps with my pores and gives me an unmatched glow. I find that if I don't use it regularly I'm more prone to breaking out and my skin appears dull. I tried every cleanser under the sun - Neutrogena, Clearasil, Clean and Clear. Non of them worked anywhere near as well (even though they put so much more into advertising) - Cetaphil has really spread via doctor recommendations and word of mouth. Even if you find you don't like the Daily Facial Cleanser, try one of their other products - the Gentle Skin Cleanser, the bar, the moisturizing cream, the lotion - you should be able to find a Cetaphil product that you will not want to go without. -

I actually received this scent for Christmas (so I had to look up the price). This is the type of scent that is totally worth the price (so use it for nights out or special occasions!). I love perfumes but I don't think I have been as impressed with any scent as I am with Stella - hints of rose, amber, and English garden - almost musky but in a feminine way and not at all overpowering. It is dark and sensual but can be worn any time of year (not just, say, autumn or winter) and let me tell you - it has staying power!!! I really hate it when you shell out money for a scent that is supposed to be perfume quality and it just doesn't stay. Stella stays - in you heart, mind, and of course, your nose! -

I received a free sample-sized version of this from Sephora and fell in love. It is both a cheek and lip stain and always looks natural (as long as you don't put too much on!). That is what's so great about it - you don't need to use a whole lot - 3 'drops' at most - and thus it lasts a very long time. It not only gives you a rosy, healthy glow (you will receive many compliments - I assure you) it SMELLS like roses. At Sephora it is $28 but a good value when you consider how long it lasts. Since finding this product, it is the only thing I use for that apple glow. -
