Overall Experience:
Ease of use - The Instense Repair Shampoo is easy to squeeze, and the flip top cap is a winner. I am this kind of clumsy person that if I remove the cap, and i am bound to lose it.
Texture - Just right for a shampoo, so I can easily apply it to my hair. Rich,creamy, nice feel on the scalp.
Scent - mild scent, easy on the nose, please have more scent like this one, love it.
Packaging - simple and functional and economical.
Changes to your hair:
Smoothness- it feels very squeaky clean after shampoo. The first time I tried it, it was after a sweaty Zumba class, and it did drain all the excess oils. Now that I said that, there are frizz coming out. Ouch! Luckily, I use it with the Repair Masque and it did wonders.
Moisture level- I think the moisture level applies only to the Repair Mask, this Shampoo is suppose to give it clean feeling and it does.
Healthy appearance - Hair looks fuller, and very squeaky clean.
Compare to other products you tried in the past? This one so far is the shampoo that deep
cleans oily scalp and cleanses sweat drenched hair, better than my regular shampoo.
Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and recommend to friends?

Ease of use - the lid for this tube is tiny, odd shape that it is difficult to put the cap back on. I recommend a flip top cap, or use a jar.
Texture - Very nice, just right texture, and really moisten a dry hand ( i hand wash my dishes and pots, and change diapers often)
Scent - mild scent, easy on the nose
Packaging:
Aluminum tube - no I do not like this one. Look at the picture, it looks like a disfigured doll.
For a Made in France product, this belongs to the hall of shame.
Changes to your skin:
smoothness- after i apply this, it definitely smooths the dry hands, re-apply often after hand washing
Moisture level - have to re-apply often when I like that level of smoothness, but so as with other products like Aveeno
Healthy appearance - yes, definitely healthy when your hands ain't flaking
Compare to other products you tried in the past?
This one is special - the texture is just right, not watery, not too hard.
This influences my usage since i don't want a watery lotion or one that i need sledge hammer to take it out.
Plus - it works!

- i personally like the texture of this lotion, it is not runny and easy to squeeze.
it works well for baby dry areas, elbows and all over all body. While my kids did not have eczema, that I do not know if it really relieves it.
- i also use this for my hand, because i keep washing my hand during the day.
- the scent is very mild - it does not say unscented, but I cannot detect any smell of it.
- the price is good, the small tube will last my kids for about 3 months., so basically $3 a month. Good quality product.

I got it in November I think, and did not open it until December.
Frequent hand washing as I am changing diapers for 3 bums, and this is super for my hand.
It leaves it smooth but not greasy.
As it is also cold in winter, it helps sooth dry skin, elbows and knees.
The scent is mild and easy on your nose.
The consistency of this lotion is just right: not too hard like other jar lotion, and not liquid-ish like those from a squeeze bottle.
This one is a keeper, and I use it everyday.

My last trip to the Body Shop with my best friend was just browsing whats new and exciting. She gifted me two facial wash:

This tea tree oil scent is overwhelming for me, don't know why.
And every time i use this one it feels clean which is great, but then, after wards - my skin seems very dry-ish that I have to add toner right away, if not, it just feels dry and itchy all day.
My friend called and I ask if her Tea Tree Facial wash drys her out , just like mine, she said that it suits her well, without adding toner right after wash. Maybe this one is for specific skin type? I am normal to oily skin.
I then send my Tea Tree Facial wash back to her, since she can get good use to it than me. I still to my Passion Fruit which is A for me.
Price Point, it is very good.
We both have Body Shop Cards, and most of their products work better than average brands you can find in supermarket.

For $19 bi-weekly, I think this facility has lot to offer than traditional gyms. Much more, young students around, not hulking trainers in classic gym setting. They even have fitness for mature adults, think this is fun to take your mom for night out with Zumba. Call them if you and your mom can try it for FREE, we do have open nights when I was at carleton.
This gym is open to public, even if you are not a student. Membership include FIT classes, swimming pool use, and gym use, and mentorship by fully trained fitness and gym leaders.
No, they don't lock you in for a year membership. Mu hubby once tried to go swimming with me regularly before we had kids.
As the winter coming, looking for a gym that give you option to try month to month, Carleton university is a best bet. Lots of parking space and easy access, by O-train if you don't like winter driving.
My experience is few years back when I was a student. Unlimited access to facility at my liesure.
Swimming pool: Great, not the biggest, but it has lanes where you can do your laps. There is sauna too.
I do this morning laps and sauna. awesome!
Gym: not the biggest, but decent facility. Students are more concern about cleanliness, at least we wipe out our sweat. They have basic cardio facilities, and free weights are. I am small, so I prefer free weight. Those sit down equipments too, I find them smaller to commercial gyms, which is a plus. I do not want to sit on a very intimidating looking machine. And I never seen students with gigantic muscles to scare me.
Fitness Classes: Most instructors are very flexible. You can go hyper and jump around, or follow a beginner style. I recall attending classes where the leader show how you can intensify your cardio by adding a jump or a twist, while she also demonstrate basic just to keep up with dancing.
Atmosphere: Friendly, relax. No pushy salesman to let you sign up for membership.
Definitely a place to try a swim, gym or work out classes without being lock in contracts.

I've been rock climbing indoors for couple of years now, and this gym is one of my favorites. Easy bouldering, and you take kids to do top rope.
Basically, they teach you how to hold the rope properly, so your 5 year old can climb like a monkey while you hold the rope. No, you can wear high heels while holding that rope. Bunos: probably it will tire your kid, and he/she will not be hyper at home.
If you climb, boulder or top rope, or just want to try, this has variety of very easy routes, that makes you feel welcome.
PRICE: VR is cheaper, but this one is obviously easier to climb for first timers.
Parking : it can get full too, but nearby is available i think.
BUS: Yes, OC transpo bus get you there.
Service: friendly staff, mostly climbers
Yes, they rent the chalk bag, harness and shoes. Just bring lose fitting outfit, your yoga stuff will do.

your first time visit - you will be ask to sign waivers, basically saying that "be careful, you can fall and die ". Nothing that you have not heard before.
very laid back gym, they have no personal trainer that will show you around. its for your own to explore, which is few caves, tall walls for rope climbing and lead climbing. you will boulder in a cave, you go up and down to get your grove, or to warm up. If your friend is up to rope climbing on the 50 ft wall, that is fine.
Ask the front desk, they will show you how to tie rope properly, use the equipment properly. in the next 30 minutes, you climb high walls like a pro. Since you are slim & sexy, your boyfriend will be surprise how you can climb well.
Warning: pains in the next day, hands and shoulders. its normal.
if you go alone or with friends, take turns solving boulder patterns along the wall. it gives your hand a rest, and think about your moves.
i discovered VR through the Fitness Group at Carleton U.
Price: rent shoes, and entrance is about $10.
Accessibility: Bus OC #8 pass by, very near War Museum.
Car: They have a nice parking lot which is never full.
Fitness: Oh yeah baby, definitely a different muscle group.

My color was marshland green.
After a year, the plastic insert that you fill up with water can get green. LOL, did not empty it on one ocassion, algae, duh! my fault. Great news! The have replacement on this water pack, just the plastic inserts.
I did not buy replacement and instead use this one as an all purpose backpack. Great for carrying daily stuff, not bulky, and weight evenly distributed. Mine was purchase in 2004, so it has 7 years of service, and still going strong. The zipper was remarkably durable, some products have really flimsy zipper, this one last.
Awesome product MEC. Will buy this as a gift, cause mine is doing me a great service. :)
