I'm mostly a paediatrics nurse specializing in complex care.. meaning stuff like feeding tubes to trachs to ventilators and other life dependent devices. I can also use, access, flush picc lines, other central and peripheral lines. I have mental health and long term care experience as well.. as well as multiple experiences through school placements. I would love to obtain my BScN and am currently looking at ways to become an RN. I am family oriented.. my children are everything to me.. I love to help others.. everything from being a Beaver & Cub Leader to helping a homeless person get off the streets to volunteering to do parade security.. high school and college tutoring .... tuck shop volunteer.. board of directors for a charity including vice president and presidential terms - the latter of which was completed while in nursing school and while a Cub leader (the same year I received the Certificate of Commendation) - and won a prestigious municipal scholarship- and more... I find there is nothing more rewarding than helping others.. it's quality of that time together that does as I learned quickly when I was a teenager and very young adult volunteering at a long term care facility and veteran's care/public rehab facility... those were two of my most rewarding volunteering experiences
