Life of Pi by Yann Martel

It's been several years since I read it, but I recently saw the movie adaptation and it brought back so many fond memories, I will definitely be re-reading this in the next little while! It's a breathtaking story about a boy trapped on a small lifeboat in the middle of the ocean with a tiger. I love the imagery and intensity of Martel's writing style, and the book will keep you interested the whole way through. I love the ambiguous ending to this...you get to decide if you believe the story or not, which to me, marks a phenomenal book. -

I'm obsessed with this clutch!! It's fairly large so it holds a lot of stuff, and has several compartments on the inside including a zippered side, and the whole inside zips closed as well (perfect so nothing falls out!). It's shaped like a large envelope, which I love, and the outside flap is also zippered so you can store stuff in there. Outside flap also has a hidden magnetic clip to keep it closed.
The colour is an amazing bright teal, and they have it in cream as well. It comes with a removable adjustable strap so you can carry it around like a clutch or use it as a side satchel. It's perfect!

This stuff is growing on me! Used it a few times now, both on its own and paired with other mascaras, and it's a good versatile product. I like the small brush, and the curve is good for really hugging your lashes, but I find the shape makes it a little awkward to hold and the first time I used it I kept getting mascara all over my eyelids! (guess i'm too used to applying mascara with a straight brush!) But i'm working on it, and so far my favorite combo is using this overtop of the covergirl lashblast length. -

This stuff is amazing! Makes my lashes almost "too long"!! Great lift, great volume, and wooah length! I haven't noticed that my lashes are "growing" necessarily, but it really does a good job of highlighting ever one youve got!

It helps get tough makeup off your skin, and I always put it around my head/neck when i'm doing at-home hairdye to easily get any hairdye off my skin. Also if you put it around your cuticles before applying polish (esp water marbelling!) it makes for easy cleanup -

It's pretty thick compared to some other body butters, but it works great for re-hydrating skin and healing it. -
Olay Body Quench Body Lotion
This stuff is amazing! It absorbs almost instantly, and makes skin SO smooth. I love the light fragrance too. If you get it on sale, it's worth every penny!
