Generally, makeup wipes are to be used as a matter of convenience. Which is why I like to have a pack handy on my nightstand for the days that I’m too tired to get out of bed and wash my face properly. For that purpose, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost® Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes are great. I have dry skin, and these don’t make my skin feel dry or tight. My face doesn’t feel as clean as it would if I washed properly, but that’s normal for makeup wipes. One wipe does a good job of getting everything off, but sometimes I like to use two. Overall, I am pleased with this product. -

the GOT2B Powder'ful Volumizing Styling Powder is a mix between dry shampoo and a powder-hairspray type of product. As such, I found that it takes some getting used to and you have to practice using it. When I first tried it, my hair actually lost volume and I think it's because I used too much so it just weighed my roots down. Next time I tried it, I put some of the powder on a hairbrush, and I ran the brush through my hair. Next, I lifted my hair from the roots by putting my fingers at the base of the hair near the route and lifting up. This really worked for me and it gave me a lot of volume at my roots which I love. Plus there was no discolouration due to applying the product. -

The GOT2B Flex Insta Hold Hairspray might be the best hairspray I have ever tried. it claims to be non-drying, and doesn't make your hair sticky or crunchy. Other hairsprays I've tried that say they won't make your hair crunchy ALWAYS would leave my hair feeling gross and kinda sticky which is honestly worse than crunchy. the GOT2B hairspray truly delivered on all its promises - it wasn't drying, sticky, crunchy and it felt super lightweight! ALSO, it smells great!! -

Schmidt's deodorant smells great and glides on smoothly and easily. However, I don't feel that it lasts all day, and I also don't trust it to keep me smelling pleasant during/after a workout. That being said, it is fine for a type of day that you will be indoors and you don't expect to sweat very much. -

Motrin super strength liquid gels were sent to me through the Chickadvisor product review club. I have used one tablet for a headache, and several tablets over three days (about two a day) for menstrual pain. These gels were amazingly effective for both! I find that my cramps went away about 35 min after taking a pill, and my headache about 20 min after taking the pill. My cramps tend to be pretty severe, so effective medication is necessary so that I can still live my life while on my period. I used to use Advil liquid gels for menstrual cramps, but since I had been using those over the past 3 years, it seems like I had begun to grow a tolerance to its active ingredient. I love that through being given Motrin liquid gels to try, I was able to find my new holy grail medication for my cramps! I have not yet used these pills for fever or muscle pain, so I can't comment on that. Highly recommend for cramps and headaches though! -

The Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam is the best product of this type that I have ever tried! I am so glad I was able to give it a shot through the chickadvisor product review club. Traditional spray dry shampoos work OK for me, but I would have to spray a lot and it was inconvenient to let it sit long enough to soak up the oils. Also, I found that it made my hair feel super gross if I used it for more than one day. On the other hand, the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam is SOOO easy to use. Since it is a foam, it is so much easier to control during application, so that way you can really target the problem areas! I also find it to be a lot more effective in making my hair look refreshed, compared to the traditional dry shampoo. There's no gross residue with this product. It only works for all hair types and colors. I have wavy black hair, my mom has wavy brown hair and my friend has curly blonde hair and we all tried this cleansing foam and love it! I highly recommend this to everyone who normally uses dry shampoo sprays. -

I am really impressed with this product. I don’t like wearing full coverage foundation, but I have been searching for a lightweight product that could make my skin look smooth and even-toned. The NYX Bare with Me Tinted Skin Veil does the job perfectly. First of all, I am so impressed that it matched my skintone perfectly. I am Indian with medium brown dry skin. I received this skin veil through the chickadvisor program and I would never have thought that a product could match me so perfectly without even trying it first. Secondly, it feels so lightweight on my skin - literally just feels like lotion. However, it still effectively evens out my skin tone (but can’t cover blemishes). It doesn’t irritate my skin at all either. Very happy with this product and I will be sure to purchase it when I run out. -

Here’s what I like about the NYX Bare with Me Multitasking Spray: The spray comes out very light and misty which I really appreciate because it doesn’t feel too wet when you spray it on your face. I like that because sometimes when I am setting my face I forget to spray BEFORE putting mascara on, and so if the spray is too wet it ruins my eye makeup. What I don’t like about the spray: I saw no difference in how long my makeup lasted, and it doesn’t even make my face smell particularly nice either. I got this product free through the chickadvisor review program and I’m really glad I got to try it but I don’t think I’ll repurchase. -

I received the NYX Bare with Me Hydrating Jelly primer through the chickadvisor program. When I first scooped up some of the product, I was really taken aback by the texture. It’s almost like a watery jello texture. I have dry skin so I thought that there’s no way something so watery can be hydrating enough for my skin. However, I was wrong! This jelly primer makes my skin look bright and smooth, and makes it feel soft and hydrated. I think it is perfect for the summer months when you want something lightweight and not greasy for your skin. If you have dry skin like me, you might prefer something a bit thicker for the winter. I like applying this under my makeup, but as a moisturizer rather than a “primer” because I didn’t notice any difference in makeup appearance or longevity when using this product. (This is why I gave it 3 stars in effectiveness) -

The "My Clarins Re-Fresh Hydrating Beauty Mist" was really cool to try out. I had never used a beauty mist before so I was not too sure how it should be used. First, I tried spraying my face after washing my face, but I didn't like that because my skin still needed some cream but then applying the cream on top of the spray felt gross and slippery. What I have found works for me with this product is to spray my face after makeup, This helps my makeup look and feel more natural (but spray BEFORE applying mascara). I also like using the spray when its really hot, so when I want to moisturize my face but I don't want to use a thick cream, I just use the spray! -
