It's the best place in Ottawa I've been to for waxing. Each and every time they've been quick, courteous, thorough, knowledgeable about products and services. The difference between this spa and any of the others I've been to within Ottawa is like night and day. For the record, I've had horrible experiences at the beauty academies in Ottawa, Third Avenue Spa, The Spa on Robertson Rd, and a couple spas in Orleans that are closed now. The price is about average for Ottawa... so essentially an arm and a leg but at least everything's done properly. -

Went in with long untreated, healthy hair, my hair is now a hot mess with orange streaks that I can barely get a comb through. Paid $235 for the disservice. I went in previously for a polish change to a favourite OPI colour. It was applied sloppily, thick, uneven, and my nails were not filed at all. Plus it cost 3 times what I normally pay in Toronto for a french manicure. I'm beginning to think there are absolutely no good salons in Ottawa. I am royally pissed off and on the verge of tears. -

When Rachelle used to work at Le Spa I always walked away with amazing hair. She'd do a colour, highlight, and cut and it would turn out beautifully. Unfortunately, she left and now only works out of her home. I ended up staying with Le Spa and had some pretty horrifying experiences. Went in with purple hair, asked to have the most of the length cut off, chose a rather artistic cut, walked out with a chinlength bob, unattractive bangs, and slightly purple light brown hair (I did like the colour...). Next went in for only a colour and trim, asked for a soft strawberry blonde, walked out with elmo red hair. Third time (I never learn), went in with hair that was a little raw from stripping the red out, asked to have it toned to a med-light brown, walked out with blackish green hair right before a family reunion (stripped it that night, left treatment on for 5 hours and managed to recover my hair somewhat on my own). Awful service, unskilled staff, overpriced, and treated my mom rudely when she went in for a haircut. -
