Just got these last night and am already wearing them. So far, I really like them. After a horrid time trying on the regular jeans there (my wore-them-everyday DKNY jeans have died), this baby slid on like butter. Like budda, I tell ya. The hubby keeps pawing at me, saying how good I look in them, so these pants get a 2 snaps up for that. A little dressier than regular jeans, but these'll probably be my everyday wear in winter. (I also bought the straight leg version in a different color, as I couldn't decide which I liked best. These have a little less gap in the waist, though). $60 for gap pants seems a bit pricey though, but overall me likey. I recommend these for us "hippy" and "butt-licious" girls. Nice 'n stretchy. -

I love this soap! If your feet get gross and stinky, this is definitely the cure. You can lather with the refreshing minty soap, then flip it over and scrub your heals with the gritty pumice. No mess or hassle. I didn't think this was something I'd get much use out of, but I now HAVE to use it every day. And the foot shape is so cute. Definitely give this a shot - it is TRULY natural. There is no synthetic gunk in it at all. And it is handmade. -

If you're looking to get in shape but want to have fun in the process, I highly recommend Jazzercise! I've been doing it since Jan. '06 and I am totally addicted. It's not trendy or too hip or pretentious. Every age group is represented, from 20 to 70 and you don't have to worry about wearing that cute little workout outfit or worry that you have no makeup on, etc. Basically it is aerobics with jazz dance elements. Less monotonous than regular aerobics, moves change often, and you work out to good music, from current hits to classics (rock, pop...). Routines/songs change every 2 weeks, so you won't get bored. We do about 40 minutes of aerobics, a weight routine, then abs and glutes. Some Pilates in there too.
There are classes all over the country. I checked and I did see classes in Toronto (and elsewhere) for you Canadian chicks. I signed up through our city's recreational program and the class is at a local rec. center. Some classes are in private studios, so prices will vary based on where you are. $36 is our charge for 6 weeks (twice a week). $5 to try a class. Oh, and if you find there is more than one instructor near you, definitely shop around and try out the different classes since each instructor has her own personality and style, though the moves are the same.
Jazzercise has been around for almost 40 years. It is also listed as one of the best overall workouts out there. For real results I recommend at least 3 times a week. I've seen results; more definition in my arms, and my rear/thighs are much toner than they were a year ago. Hallelujah!

I'm ready to throw this thing out. I've realized that the more isn't the merrier when it comes to blades. I have to go over the same spot several times to get all the hairs (underarms especially problematic). Sure this protects you from nicks I guess, but the idea of shaving is for the blade to actually touch the hair. Oh, and forget it if the hair is long - god, it takes me like 40 min to do my legs if I haven't done it in a while (which is common). And the hair gets stuck between the blades and wont come out. But this is common with most multiple blade wire-wrapped razors, and not just this brand I guess. But the 4 blades heightens those problems. It's just not made for my hairy needs. -

I was curious to see what all the hype was about Lush. I wanted to try one of their shampoos, so in my search for something else to add to my order, I found this cleanser. It was the least offensive in terms of ingredients, and suited for my skin type (oily and sensitive). I've used it for a week so far and i have to say it is really good. It exfoliates well, without feeling harsh. My skin is not dry or oily or anything after cleansing - my skin is left feeling soft and "just right." The smell isn't terrible, but its not like "oh my god this smells fabulous" either. The only icky ingredient in this is the artificial fragrance which makes me wonder what was the point? I'll need to see if I can concoct my own truly natural version of this because I am very happy so far. It looks like bright green modeling clay. Overall, me likey! -

For my top 2 criteria of best bra (see my ChickChat post), of adding a cup size and concealing any pointiness, this bra gets an A+. But aside from that, it does not compare to my favorite, discontinued Fashion Forms bras. It is not quite as comfortable, and the cups are stiff. I want a water bra so that it will look and feel au naturel, but by using a stiff fabric, it kind of defeats the purpose. I went with the Toffee color (nude colors are always better than white, since they become invisible under white shirts). This bra does do a great job under t-shirts and tighter tops, and you do not see any lines or anything else poking through, so I like that. Everything is nice and smooth. Overall I'll be wearing this every day, but I'll still be looking for something better. This bra came with a little dimple in one of the cups, so I need to see if I can iron it out, because it's bugging me. -

Just got my 3rd pair of the DKNY Soho jeans (at Macys). Jeans are always hard for me to find. I wore Gap for a long time, then they got all these weird ones with low rise, skinny legs, etc. etc. and I couldn't find my favorite stretchy bootlegs. Enter DKNY. They are comfy with just enough stretch to get around my big butt. My last pair was a black rinse and I was allergic to the button in front, but this pair is ok so far. Price is great for "designer" jeans. Not too low rise, just below the belly button which is perfect so my rolls aren't hanging out! Next time I go shopping I'll pick up one of the sandblasted rinses. -

Picked this up at a local beauty shop. I am always looking for a good volumizing/thickening shampoo. I have thick curly hair and get oily around the scalp, but if I moisturize too much the curls just hang limply. It's all about the volume. This shampoo is liquid. I had to pour this straight from the bottle onto my head, otherwise it would spill out from my hand before it reached my head. A little annoying for those of us with longer hair. Overall though I think this works pretty well. I've tried lots of volumizing shampoos and most I don't really care for or don't do anything. You have to be prepared to spend a few minutes building up a lather, and might need to shampoo twice since the first time you might not have enough lather. Or just use a lot the first time. The scent is clean and herbal, nothing too strong. I'd use it again, though $20 for a bottle of shampoo seems crazy to me. -

I agree, this does a great job of exfoliating. Some natural body scrubs are more oil than scrub, so I feel like to need to wash myself again afterward. This is not the case with Talulah's body scrub. It is very gritty, more so than other scrubs I've tried, but it has botanicals that are soothing to sensitive skin. P.S. - I consider anything over $20 to be expensive, no matter what good stuff is in it! Talulah products are handmade in Portland, OR and really are truly natural. -

I've been wearing this since sophomore year in high school (the year the fragrance came out actually!) and I have never been able to switch to anything else even after 11+ years. It is light and fresh, with citrusy notes, but I don't smell like an orange. I've tried other perfumes, but always go back to this one. I never understood those people who have 10 or 20 different perfumes, one for each mood or occassion. I can wear this every day, all day/night. I have received compliments, so I must have good taste. You can find it cheaper online I think, but I don't know off-hand any reputable sources as it has been quite some time since I've ordered it. -
