I also came across Ed's Real Scoop at the Beaches Jazz Festival. This place is owned by Ed, and all of his stuff is homemade without the artificial colours and chemicals that you may find in regular ice cream shops.
When I went this place was extremely busy.... the line was going all the way out onto the street! What I like is that they have seasonal flavours that come out periodically throughout the year. When I was there they had their famous Pumpkin flavour ice cream. They also make their own waffle cones (you can smell them coming up the street) and you can see them making them in the store window as well.
You will pay more than usual for ice cream at Ed's but I think that it's so worth it. Next time I am in the beaches area I would definitely come here again!

The consistency is definitely thicker than most mascaras to give you that really full, lush look that you see on the runways. I must admit, I am a fan of chunky mascara. I find that it just gives you dramatic eye lashes that you don't get with many mascaras. The only downside, is that it can get really clumpy at times and you must use a lash comb to separate them. It takes a lot of work!
Although it did make my lashes lush, long and full I could not say "You Betcha!". I just cannot see myself purchasing this again for $31 CDN a pop. It's just not worth it.

I came here for a lunch time Hot Hatha Power Flow Yoga class the other day. I must say... I really got my sweat on!
The front desk staff I find to be very mellow and casual. Almost a little too casual? I think that they could be a little bit more professional. Though I found that the yoga instruction made up for it. The instructor was good, and did not go through the positions too quickly. She went around the room helping to gently re-adjust people's postures.
The studio is quite nice... very nicely decorated with two rooms for yoga/pilates. The entire place smells of incense, and when I first walked in I immediately could feel the calm atmosphere. The change room is too small though, and it feels more like a storage place for yoga mats. And like the others had said... although the bathroom is nice and clean, there are only two showers. The lockers are also really small... so try not to bring a backpack with you.
Overall I really like this place and the hot yoga felt amazing. I felt refreshed and energized, ready for the rest of the day! I will probably come back here again for more in the future.

I think that this is probably one of the best body washes that I have ever tried from a drug store.
The texture is really smooth and creamy, it feels much like a body cream than a cleanser. What I like about it is that it softens my skin but does not leave a residue. It smells really good too. This product is pretty cool... when you squeeze it out of the bottle, you can see the "ribbons" formed by the different colours.
I find that I do not even need moisturizer after using this... though I know that it is summer right now here in Toronto. This will definitely be a shower staple during the winter months.

The first time I ever walked into this store was a few years ago back in high school. I never ever thought that I would shop here, because the prices are reeaallyy steep!
With that being said, years later I decided I need a very good pair of quality jeans (I had to find ways to justify this purchase!). I walked and out of the store with an awesome pair that fit my lower half perfectly. I am quite pleased.
The store is extremely hit and trendy, they have all of the latest styles and they are always on top of what's in fashion for next season. I walked in there in mid-August, and they already had all of their down winter coats on display. They have some of the cutest cardigans and sweaters. Most of their stuff comes really high quality, but remember... you will have to pay the price, because they are all designer clothes and jeans.
The staff there are really friendly and knowledgeable , they will help you find the perfect pair of jeans for your body. They also do hemming and what not. I will definitely return to this store in the future... but only when I really want to treat myself!

Campsuds is a multipurpose cleanser that can be used to wash anything when camping or traveling. It washes clothes, skin, hair, dishes... anything you can think of! It is a natural, biodegradable product that will not harm the environment. It is also concentrated, so you only need a small amount.
I used this when I was backpacking through Europe to wash my clothes in the sink when I couldn't get to/afford to go to a real laundromat. It is pretty effective and gentle, good especially for washing underwear! My only complaint for washing clothes is that they do not smell as "fresh" as using really laundry soap. Ohh well... we know that real laundry soap is dosed with artificial fragrances anyway, right?
I cannot say how well it works for hair washing because I never used it to wash my hair while I was traveling (I used real shampoo).
Campsuds isn't one of those luxury beauty products, but it's one of those versatile staples that is a must bring when you're trying to travel light or are going camping. It's economical and safe for the environment so you can't go wrong.
One of the places they sell it in Canada is MEC - just look for the green bottle in the camping section. To find it in other places in the world you can check out their website.

I like how they are not too shimmery and feel light on my lips. My complaint is that it does not last throughout the day, you have to keep applying it! That is if you don't lick your lips too much....

So I have to admit that it took me a little while to warm up to this mascara. I do also have a tendency to think that most cheaper mascaras just won't do the trick for my lashes. Which is also why I wouldn't rate it right away... I wanted to give it a few chances!
It took a few tries before I was able to get it right... but what I found the result to be was nice, natural lashes. Maybe it was a little too natural for me?
I find that the trick with this one is you have to put on tons of layers to build it up. What I liked about the results (because of the cool brush) was that there was very little clumping - no eyelash comb needed! And my lashes stayed soft. This is a great everyday mascara, but that's it. I didn't find it to be extraordinary.
Another thing is the packaging. I found it to be a little too bulky . I prefer a sleeker, slimmer container and applicator. But otherwise, overall it was good.

Ohh and the shoes are quite nice too. I would come back just to look at the shoes.

I went to Cocoa for the after party of the ChickAdvisor ShopCrawl Part 3. I really enjoyed it here. The food is great and the servers are really nice. I agree with the other reviewers that it is a great place to go out to with friends or a date.
