This bra offers great support, style and comfort. I was drawn to it because I was getting sick of the crop style bra, giving the dreaded "uni-boob" look. This one actually has a separate cup for each one, but without the underwiring! The style is nice too. I love the way the design detailing on the sides.
Highly recommended for its comfort and style!

I think I'm hooked on Burt's Bees! I love the lip balm infused lipstick combination that I get with this product. If you are the kind of girl who likes a little bit of colour on her lips, but doesn't like wearing lipstick than this is for you. This product not only softens my lips very well (Burt's quality!) but also gives them a hint of colour, depending on how much I put on. I have a fear of brightly coloured lipstick, and this product gives gives just the right amount. For more colour like a real lipstick, adding more layers would do the trick. The only problem is that it won't stay put like most outlast lipsticks.

This is a great product to use in preparation for summer sandal season! What I really liked about this cream is that even though one of its key properties is that is like an antiperspirant for the feet, the product doesn't have a strong smell. I love how the cream feels thick enough to hydrate cracked heels, but at the same time it is not greasy. I find that strong smells and greasyness (read: gets slippery) is a fault with many foot creams, and this one passes the test.
My heels do feel much softer than before, like the skin is healing from the harsh winter weather. I never knew minerals from the sea had so many benefits. The skin on my feet feels renewed and refreshed, ready for those sandals! I think I've discovered a new love for dead sea minerals!

This is unlike any other mask I have used before, and it was very different from what I was used to. I love how it made with all natural ingredients, but like mamaluv, I found it a little difficult to use.
It was really hard to get out of the container, I had to use a spoon to scoop it out. I am not sure if that was because of the cold winter weather. I also found it was quite hard to mix it with water, as it was a bit chunky in texture.
Though once I had figured it out, it was great! Though I must say, it does take a bit of getting used to. It does taste really good too :) The mask gets very sticky on your face, so I recommend you keep your hair far away from it, otherwise after you will have bees following you everywhere!
Once I rinsed it off my face, my skin felt very smooth and soft! I find this product works best in the shower, because the humidity warms -and softens! it slightly, so that it feels like it's "melting" into your pores, helping to clear them out.
If you're thinking of going au naturel with your skincare products, Wild Sage is a great place to start!

As a health and organic food advocate, I'm always looking for the healthiest, most delicious restaurants in the city. Fresh on Bloor is one of 3 Juice for Life restaurants owned by Ruth Brown in Toronto. The other day I visited the newly renovated and located Fresh on Bloor (Bloor and Spadina) for lunch with my boyfriend.
The new restaurant is fun and funky with bright and colourful interior, with a the take-out and juice bar on the left, and the casual dining area on the right. I was suprised at the amount of fresh fruit and take out items that were displayed at the counter!
Everyday they have lunch specials, featuring half off on one or two menu items. I ordered the buddha bowl and the blueberry thrills power shake and they were absolutely delicious. Their vegetarian burgers are also amazing. The biggest issue that I have with vegetarian burgers is that the flavour can be so artificial. The taste of the burgers here is exceptional and unique, much better than any other soy burgers I have tried. One thing I loved too about dining here for much was the service. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to see why this place gets so busy for lunch!
I do recommend this place more for lunch than dinner. I have been here before for dinner. and I found that the service was not as good or quick. Funny how that was the case, because they seem to be far busier around noon.
Fresh on Bloor is definitely worth the visit. I know we will be visiting there again sometime soon!

The only reason I ever eat here is because this is a restaurant that satisfies everyone, as there is a huge range of food items on the menu that caters to different dietary needs. It is never my choice to dine here.
What I really don't like is that half the food items you can make yourself at home. It really is nothing special at all. Maybe it is because I really am not a fan of casual food dining places. The prices are cheap though, which really is the only bonus. However, the blandness of the food and lack of quality service doesn't make up for that. The service is quite crappy at all locations.
You're better off going somewhere else!

Anywhoo, even on my dark hair I liked the results. It was much shinier and much more manageable. It definitely did look healthier! Even still, this isn't a product I would buy on a regular basis, seeing that my hair colour doesn't quite fit the match. Not only that, is it is a large price to pay for shampoo and conditioner. I would rather pay more for hair care that is of better quality designed for hair type, rather than for one that only targets a certain group of hair colours.
What I don't like about all these blonde, brunette. red head shampoo collections is that there isn't one that caters to us dark haired women. According to to my hair stylist, my hair technically isn't black. But to me it is in comparision to everyone else's. Not that Ia m saying that I want lighter hair!
I love my dark locks but these shampoo companies have got to start making product lines for everyone.

Another sample I received at Apothena.com. This is probably the best body exfoliator/polish I have ever used. It smells AMAZING, like real brown sugar! Err, probably because it is made with all natural ingredients, including real brown sugar. I totally admitt that I really wanted to eat it. Yumm!
The only piece of advice I can give is that because it is real sugar, it dissolves very quickly, so you have to use it fast, before it dissolves completely in your damp hands. I slathered it on real quick before it melted and rubbed it in. My skin felt so smooth, soft and polished after. It felt like I had renewed circulation and the dead skin cells from winter were washed away. It even had a bit of a sheen! Excellent product from Talulah!

Honestly, this is one of the best creams I have ever used. It has a really nice buttery texture to it, one that blends in well when rubbed into the skin. You only need a very small amount to cover a large area. I have been using this on my callousy feet and scaly hands and it works like a dream. My heels really softer and my hands are way less itchy from the cold. I suffer from hives and cuts on my hands because of the dry winter. The skin is much more smooth and far softer than it was before.
It is quite oily though, after I find my finger tips are quite greasy from it. But even so, the cream still works amazingly well. When I put it on before I go to bed at night, in the morning my hands are not oily anymore, and they just feel so soft and pretty. It is very lightly scented, smells very natural.
Because of the greasyness, this isn't a cream that I would carry around in my purse. But it definitely is a treat for the rough, tired skin before retiring.
