I was pleasantly surprised with this lip gloss I received from ChickAdvisor. In the tube it looked very brown in pigment and way too sparkly for my taste (I believe the one that I tried was Beach Bronze). I am not a fan of brown lip glosses, I find they look a little too conservative on me.
I tried it on and it was quite nice. Although it was a more brown/tan gloss, it went pretty sheer on my lips. It was a little too sparkly for me (within a few hours there were big and gold sparkles all over the place) but it was really moisturizing, which I find uncommon with lip glosses. I read on their website that it is suppose to protect your lips against environmental stress because of the hydrating qualities and antioxidants. $13 a pop is not a bad price, MAC lip glasses go for more and don't have the moisturizing qualities of this one.
A lovely lip gloss I wouldn't mind wearing this summer on the beach while playing beach volleyball. Add an SPF lip balm underneath and you are well protected!

It's a great product overall. I didn't have to worry about my deodorant possibly wearing out on me throughout the day. I felt confident that the product was working, even after a hard workout! It also helped me feel a little less "stubbly" which is also a nice bonus.
I wouldn't recommend wearing it with black, as it does leave marks on your clothes. Nice product overall.

This wasn't my favourite concealer from MAC. I find it to be too drying and it cakes up after a few hours. It's also not very blend able, I had to melt it a little under a lamp to make it less viscous, and that didn't work too well. I bought this once and I won't be re-purchasing it.
I think their Select Cover Concealer is way better, as it has a smoother consistency to work with.

This is one of the greatest bar soaps I have ever used! Normally I go for shower gel or body wash instead, but this product I received generously from ChickAdvisor. It smells SOO good (very lemony and fresh) in the shower and I felt very clean after. It's a good morning soap to wake you up after a night's rest. Recommended, especially if you like to shower in the mornings and cannot drag yourself out of bed, this might be a great incentive to do so! -

Ok lotion overall. It's a small bottle, and $10. Yes, a little does go a long way. But - I still don't think it compares to some of Vaseline's other lotions - esp for that price! The smell was a bit of a turn-off (I tried the Mineral one). The only reason why I would buy this again is if I was going traveling and needed a small bottle to fit in my luggage. Otherwise, I will stick to their Original Intensive Care or Cocoa Butter lotions.

It's more environmentally friendly than many of the other kinds out there, without that extra plastic compartment. The flavour that I tried is Evolve, it's perfect for those who are not into minty flavours and dig the bubble gum taste (bring out the inner child in you!). This is a product I would buy again, and I hope to try out more of their flavours! This product was also from ChickAdvisor. -

I love the packaging. I truly think that Juicy Couture makes some of the cutest, most gorgeous bottles out there! I couldn't say the same for the perfume however. It was just way too strong smelling for my taste, almost overpowering. I have their Viva La Juicy and I love that one, I figured I would try a sample of this and I might like it (it is from ChickAdvisor by the way). Couture Couture is the new one and it doesn't live up to it's expectations. Very pretty packaging, but the perfume not so much. I hope that they will make a better one next time! -

Not so much. I've had better. It's also a really small bar. Nice to keep in your purse if you need a quick snack, but not the best ones out there on the market! If you need a small snack and have a sweet craving to satisfy, this might do the trick. Otherwise... I think I would go for a different one. -

The Paper Place is one of my favourite stores in Toronto for all of my crafty and creative paper needs. It's a cute boutique located on Queen Street W (across from Trinity Bellwoods Park) that sells beautiful papers from all over the world, most of them are from Japan. They also carry a large array of journals, albums, stationary and card making supplies. I know that many couples come here too for materials to make wedding invitations.
Whenever I walk into this store I feel like a kid in a candy store. The papers are absolutely gorgeous and versatile limited only by your imagination. The store is very colourful and cute and I can spend hours in here! There are also lots of fun stuff for kids and of course, origami papers.
If you are feeling crafty, looking for a unique gift for a creative person or looking to make your own cards for any occasion, The Paper Place is a must visit. I can spend hours in here and I am sure that many would also appreciate it!

Even better, there is no oily residue that is left over after. Extremely effective and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a higher end eye make up remover. -
