The blendability and consistency of these pencil liners are really good! I find that they feel quite smooth, but at the same time do not smudge so easily, unintentionally at least. If you want them to smudge, use a smudging brush or your finger and it works quite well! Breakage when sharpening is also not a problem. They come at a good price, for a great liner! -

I don't have a tattoo, but I have been to New Tribe for piercings. I know many people who swear by this place for tattoos. This place is expensive, but it is definitely well worth it, for the professionalism of the staff and the hygiene of the entire place. Everything here is really CLEAN. You don't have to worry about dirty needles or equipment because everything comes pre-packaged (new and clean!), and is sterilized and done with latex gloves.
If you live in Toronto and are thinking of getting a tattoo or piercing, I definitely recommend going to New Tribe! The staff are very caring, nice and talented with their designs, and you can't get a tattoo and piercing parlour that could be any more clean and safe. That's what's most important, right?

Located in the Annex near Bathurst Station, Grapefruit Moon has amazing affortable, semi-vegetarian food! I do think that this place is better for breakfast/brunch/lunch than dinner. It is sort an artsy restaurant, small, and has kinda that messy look. Even though they do serve mainly vegetarian food, they do have a few meat items on the menu. The fries here are SO good, made with real potatoes and they are so crispy and delicious! I normally don't eat fries, BUT I EAT THEM HERE! The salad is so goood. So flavourful and healthy, with tons of variety! This place serves great food at great prices. Menu items range from around $5-$12 CDN. A must visit, especially for brunch! -

Now, I cannot possibly write a review about Pacific Mall and not one for Market Village, the two go together (they are right next to each other!) Market Village is by far less busier than the Pacific Mall, though for a first timer, I recommend going to Pacific instead. Market is really good for running errands and it has two grocery stores attached to it. There are many shops outside the mall as well. This place (I think) is primarily good for food :) -

As North America's largest Asian mall, this place is the place to get goods that you can't find anywhere else. There are so many things to see, do, and eat here. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of this mall, though many of my friends enjoy shopping here. It is great for getting cheap, imported goods. They have everything here: food, technology, gifts, clothing, accessories and everything in between. The entire mall is very shiny, all the store are made of glass and the floor is extremely glossy. The stores do keep repeating themselves after a while, you will see stores which sell the same things. Visiting the mall for the first time is a unique experience. -

I have the Reverse Groove Pants. I think one of the best things about Lulu is that the clothing comes in all different sizes. Pants come in tall length, and they offer free hemming which comes with your purchase. Another thing is that you can put something in the wash, and you don't need to worry about it shrinking 10 sizes! The only thing I don't like about the pants is that the fabric pills easily. Otherwise, if you don't mind the occasional pill (from nails and sharp objects) then these pants are worth the investment. -

This hand cream is brillant! It is really thick and creamy and is PERFECT for the dry, harsh Canadian winter. It is highly concentrated, so I recommend using it right after you wash your hands when they are still slightly damp so that it LOCKS in a layer of moisture and acts as a moisture barrier from the cold wind. The best thing is if you buy the one in the tube it is more convienient to put in your purse. This cream is well worth it. Out of all the hand creams I have bought and tried, this one is at the top! -

I'm sure many of you have noticed that the style and quality of clothing at Le Chateau has definitely gone up. A Ryerson fashion student told me that Le Chateau (based in Montreal) comes to the fashion school to recruit designers for their company (makes total sense!) I love the clothes here, they are so beautiful and trendy. The colours and styles are just gorgeous. They even have really nice cocktail dresses!
Although the clothes have gotten better, I am surprised that the return policy hasn't. They still do not allow refunds, it is only exchange or a store credit! I hope that this policy changes soon, because I'm sure that most retail companies have come to realize that customer satisfaction is key for any retail business to thrive. So if you want to buy something, make sure you really want it because you can't get your money back!
