Where would I be without Goody Ouchless Hair Elastics! They hold up your hair really well without that metal barrel in the ring that keeps it together. This way, it doesn't pull out your hair or cause pain when you take them out. They come in many colours and thicknesses as well, from black and brown to neutral and rainbow colours. Cheap and efficient. -

I absolutely love lingerie made by Triumph International! Forget going to lingerie boutiques, I find that Triumph offers bras and underwear of amazing quality. You can find them at most major department stores in Canada. They are expensive, but they are definitely worth the price. A friend of mine would not pay that much for a bra, until I introduced her to Triumph, and now she's hooked! I have the Simply Soft bra, it is so comfortable, it makes you want to wear it all day. Most of the cups on their bras are seamless for comfort. It costed a lot, about $42 but I got it on sale. Another thing is that they last a long time (as long as you don't make the mistake of putting them in the dryer!) Comfortable, sexy, and stylish, everything you would want in a bra. -

I like Physicians Formula products, because I find them to be a higher quality drugstore brand. I really like the Mineral Wear powder. I find that I put it on and it does not irritate my sensitive skin. The compact is a little bit awkward (with the mirror on the bottom) but I like that it comes with a brush that does not sit in the make-up. The powder goes on quite smooth with good mattifying power, without looking cakey. I find that when I'm wearing it, it feels light and I forget that I am even wearing make-up! -

I have been going to this restaurant with my family for as long as I can remember (they have been going there since before I was even born!). Pearl has come a long way. They have moved to a different part of the Harbourfront Centre overlooking the habour, the view is just amazing (make sure you get a window seat!). I love going there for dim sum. I must say, for anyone who goes there, the best thing there is the EGG TARTS. When I was a child, and even today whenever we go there for dim sum, I'm always scouting the carts for them. Unfortunately, there are getting more difficult to find! I don't know if they make them as much anymore! This restaurant is awesome. Going there for dinner is also great! Service is excellent. Highly recommended for Chinese food! -

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is a great mascara. I find that it works well because it does not clump very easily, and you can control the amount of volume you want for the kind of look you're going for. If you are going out at night to a party, this mascara works well for creating a full, smoldering look, without clumping. Just keep building layers on top, and wiggle it from side to side to make your lashes fuller (this works for any mascara actually, but it works especially well for this one!) Its staying power is also great. The only downside I find is that it tends to be hard to wash off. Make sure you have a good eye make-up remover! -

Vichy claims to be the #1 in skincare. I don't think that this product measures up to all the ads they spent trying to prove that is works so well for oily, imperfect skin. I used it for about 6 months, and I really didn't see that much of an improvement. It is very much, just AN AVERAGE CLEANSER. It does smell nice and is a green nice colour, but I find that they put many chemicals in their list of ingredients. I did buy it on sale, but I would never pay the full price for it. It's not worth it. -

If you are not a fan of lip glosses with scents and tastes, this one is odourless and has no taste. Also, the tube is soft and squeezable, so when you get to the end, you can squeeze the rest of the product out. It lasts quite long on the lips for a drugstore lip gloss. I think Lululemon is great! It is ridiculously expensive though. What I think is great is how their clothing comes in all kinds of sizes, for example they have pants in TALL length for someone like me who can't ever find pants that are long enough. I think what makes it original is their whole manifesto, promoting health and yoga. In addition, is their corporate responsibility and environmentally concious attitude. If you are looking for nice, fashionable yoga clothes, Luon is the way to go. However, if you're not a fan of clothes that pill, then it may not be for you. The clothing does have a tendency to pull from nails, scratches, etc. Good style, nice colours. -
