I recently went to Sketchley Cleaners on Dundas Street W (close to the Art Gallery of Ontario) to have something altered and dry cleaned. I was please with the alternations and the service. The staff here are professional, friendly and polite. They also get the job done well and within a timely manner. I was informed that they have been serving that location for about 20 years. Many of their clients are policemen/women who dry clean their uniforms, as they are located right across the street from 52 Division Police Station.
They currently do have a website, but their contact information is as follows:
(416) 977 - 2169
250 Dundas Street West
Toronto, Ontario M5T 2Z5

Aroma Espresso Bar is one of my favourite coffee places! It's is a company based out of Israel and they have a few locations here now in Toronto and the surrounding area (including Thornhill). The coffee and food are both delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I love stopping by it when I'm in the mall, even though there is always a huge line up! Staff are also friendly and the service is good.
My only complaint about this location is that it's in very wide open space of the mall. I think it would be better if it were a little more self-contained so that customers can have a more enjoyable coffee experience.

Joy Hu's slogan for her clothing company is "Couture Dresses without Couture Prices". While the designs at first glance are quite fashionable, the quality is where her company loses merit.
From a client's perspective who has purchased a dress from Joy in the past, I would not recommend her to anyone. The dress (like many of them) that she sold me was of poor quality and cut, and fell apart quickly. As a matter of fact, it was within a few hours. Even still, the dresses still retail for around $85-$400 and are all made in China. Joy is determined to earn profit regardless; and does not care about the satisfaction of her customers.
As a model who has also taken part in her show, I can tell you that she charges models money to BE in her fashion show. She says that her "compensation" for working for her is the dress modeled at a discounted price. But this does not make any sense to me. Shouldn't she be paying models to walk for her instead, not other way around? It goes to show you how little integrity her company runs on - and it's just not right.
There are plenty of dress designers and shops in the city with far more beautiful dresses and are of better quality. Ladies, I highly, highly suggest you look elsewhere.

Ambrosia Natural Foods is my favourite health food store in the GTA. They have two locations: one in Thornhill and the other is in Newmarket. The focus is on organic food, natural beauty products, bulk food, and nutritional supplements and vitamins. I like the store because the prices are extremely low for a health food store. It's great for those who have certain dietary restrictions and allergies, as they carry many products that are not sold in a regular grocery store.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in finding you exactly what you need. They also have monthly specials that they post on their website. Ambrosia is a great place to get organic healthy food and beauty products and so I recommend it to everyone.

I have this exact same lip gloss and I love it!
It adds a small amount of red tint to my lips, while making them super glossy! Except this gloss is NOT hair friendly. It's very sticky, similar to Lancome Juicy Tubes for less than half the price. It smells quite nice too and makes my lips look fuller. Because it gives high shine with a little bit of red colour, it's very versatile and I can wear it with a diverse range of looks.
Because the packaging is a little cheaper, make sure you cap it tightly. Otherwise, you will get goopy gloss all over the inside of your purse!
You can find Beauty Rush glosses at La Senza (in Canada) and Victoria's Secret in the states. They have a wide range for everyone; sparkly, no-sparkle, pigmented, opaque, opaque with glitter -- to fit every woman's preference.

I agree with the other reviewers and think these eye shadows are definitely higher quality than many drug store brands. The colours are very pigmented and last very long. I think the darker shade in the duo does have a bit of a "chalky-er" feel to it and you have to really work the brush into it to get more colour.
Colours are pretty; definitely ones you would find at MAC. Although you get 2 colours, I don't always like the colour combinations offered. And I do find the packaging to be a little bulky; even though it comes with a tiny mirror.
Good quality for the money; and I will definitely check back drug stores from time to time to see if they come up with any new colours!

MAC Fluidliner is a staple in my make-up collection. I have tried several gel based eye liners and I always go back to this one. It's high quality, doesn't smudge and lasts all day. The best part is you can choose how thick/thin you want to line your eyes. It's easier to use than liquid eye liner (for those of you who do not have a steady hand) and it creates the same look. I don't use this every day, but it's a must for creating a dramatic eye look for a night out.
It's very concentrated, so you don't need too much of it. It lasts a long time as well. I will definitely go back to this if I run out.

The shop is a really good place to mellow out with a book mid-day; the environment is very relaxed and the staff are very friendly. It's also a great place to learn more about coffee. I would definitely come back here again. -

Unlike traditional glosses, it doesn't get sticky at all. It also passes the "hair test" on a windy day -- my hair doesn't stick to my lips! It looks great layered over another lip colour or gloss.
This is definitely good for those who like it glossy without the sparkles or chunks of glitter. I would say that most of them are quite sheer with a subtle sparkle, not too glittery.
These are limited edition, so I am sure they will have them again at MAC in a few months.

I like the idea of not having to "zig-zag" my own mascara wand to get that full lash look. What I like about this mascara is it's soo QUICK to apply. I can get my mascara on in half the time it usually takes! I also only have to apply a few coats, as the wand does all of the work for you.
I would say that the volume/lengthening is pretty good as well.
What I did not like:
The vibrating sensation against your eye balls can freak some people out. it feels weird, and the first few times it will definitely make your eyes water - which may smudge the mascara.
Honestly I do prefer traditional mascara to this one, I like being able to build up the fullness on my own; as there are other ones that that are less expensive and give better results. Still, this is great if you are in a rush or always on the go.
