Spynga is the yoga and cycling studio in Toronto. They have both yoga and spinning classes and they also have classes that are infused with both.
The studio is a little difficult to find the first time you go to it because it's way up on the third floor. After you find it, you'll know that you came to the right place. The entire studio has a very calm, laid back feel to it. The staff are really friendly and nice. I had the chance to speak with one of the co-owners (Casey) and she is extremely down-to-earth and sweet.
I had the pleasure of trying out their signature Spynga Flow class which encompasses 30 minutes of spinning on the stationary bike followed by 30 minutes of yoga. The bikes are set up on one side of the room and there is a large space at the end of the room for the yoga.
I found the class to be really exhilarating especially the transition going straight from spinning to yoga. The instructor was really good in teaching both the spin and the yoga class. I felt like she was effectively able to make modifications for those taking the class who are beginner or who have injuries, but at the same time push those who needed the extra motivation. I would recommend this class to anyone beginner to the more advanced. Even though it was my first time, the class was really easy to follow and it flows with your level of comfort. After I felt tired like I got a good cardio workout, but calm and at ease from the yoga practice.
They also have a diverse range of classes for everyone, including new moms, children and tweens. I would definitely go back if I didn't live so far away.
Spynga is located at 1415 Bathurst Street, south of St Clair Ave W. 416 588 SPYN (7796).

I am quite impressed with this mascara. It def made my lashes really long and sexy! I do admit that the first time I thought the white base coat would take too long and be too time consuming to apply. It didn't take as long as I expected it too. And the results are well worth it!
If you are looking for the "long" last look.. this is a good buy. I wouldn't exactly say that it's really volumizing though, better for lengthening.
It comes off very easily as well, all at once... without much smudging. It's very similar to Fiberwig (for those of you who have ever tried it).
Definitely a good buy and worth the money.

I love Etsy.com because it's a great way to find something authentic and handmade. At Etsy, you buy directly from the artist/designer who made the product (kind of like Ebay but not really). I have purchased items here from designers before, and I was quite pleased with the products!
The website is really user friendly and I like how it's easy to browse for different items you are looking for (i.e. if you are searching for earrings you can browse the traditional way; or if you are looking for a certain colour of something, there is that search option too) It is also easy to request custom items from each of the designers/artists because you are buying directly from them.
It's a great site and I love seeing what each artist/designers has to offer. I browse through it regularly and will continue to do so for its unique and diverse items. Check it out!

This is by far the best dry shampoo I have ever used before. I tested this out in the store on myself and my sister when we both happen to have a slightly greasy hair day. After rubbing it through both of our hair.... we both looked like we had just washed and styled it.
Not only does it smell amazing, I really like that it's not an aerosol-type dry shampoo (which sometimes can leave a white residue behind). You just sprinkle a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub it into your hair. It works so well, I'm quite impressed.
It comes in two colours: one for dark hair and one for light. I have the dark hair one.
It can also be used on the skin, but I have yet to try it for that. This is definitely one of my favourite products this year.

Unirehab and Physiotherapy Clinic is a great clinic for those who are in need of rehab after an injury. I started going there a few months ago when I had a running injury to my left leg. Jenny Lai (RPT, and the clinical manager) is a wonderful physiotherapist who is extremely friendly, caring and treats her clients very well. I actually looked forward to going to physio each week because not only is she super nice and great at what she does, but all of her staff are also really nice and professional.
It as now been a few months since my injury and my leg feels SO much better, and way stronger than before! The staff there did an excellent job. If I ever get injured again I definitely know where I am going for rehab.
They also have massage therapy, but I have never tried that service there before. If you ever get injured and need a good physiotherapist I definitely recommend this place.

Salad King is one of the best cheap eats and Thai restaurants in Toronto.
The food is just so fresh and delicious. I have had the BEST curries here, especially the Golden Curry. It's the best Golden Curry in the city, hands down. I also like how you can choose how spicy you want your food. It ranges from mild (some dishes are already a little spicy) to 20 chillies (may cause upset stomach). Perfect for those who cannot stand the heat and those who are adventurous with spicy food!
It's very affordable too, nothing here is over $10. It's a great place to stop in for lunch in between classes or go to with a group of friends.
One thing to keep in mind about Salad King is that it's not a good restaurant for a date. The seating is a little strange (often you're sitting right next to strangers) and it can get very cluttered, cramped and noisy.
Owner and Chef Linda also has a sister restaurant upstairs called Linda for private parties and nicer functions. I have never been there before.
The tasty food and value for your money will not disappoint you! If you're in the area, definitely check it out, it's right next to Ryerson University.

After trying many lip glosses, (both high end and drug store) I usually gravitate towards this one. It looks natural and pretty, similar to MAC Lipglasses. The smell and taste isn't that bad either!
It gives just the right amount of shimmer and gloss. It's a little on the sticky side, I find but the results are beautiful. The staying power is not bad too.
This gloss is good value for the money. I will probably buy this again.

First off, I have to agree that the coffee is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever had coffee this good in the city! The food is great too. I had the chance to try a free sample (I don't quite remember what it was) and I was quite impressed.
I do think that the service can be improved though. In the beginning the barista was ok (not rude or really friendly either). But there were times that I was given the impression that I wasn't welcome there. I thought perhaps, maybe that's just the way they are?
That was until I noticed that returning customers received far better treatment; greeted with friendiness and chit chat. I mean, it's great that they recognize returning faces. But if you want new-comers to return... why not treat them in the same way?
I might return here again (for the amazing coffee)... but the service here makes me a little bit unsure. I mean, why is there the need to scare off potential regulars? I don't think it helps out the business...

I read the book before seeing the movie. Often when books become movies they aren't nearly as successful. This wasn't the case with He's Just Not That Into You. I absolutely loved this movie.
What I loved is the producers made the film so easy to relate to where so many women watching it could agree and think, "Why do we do this ?!"
Not only was it humorous and touching, there were so many aspects of truths brought up that forced us to face the true realities of dating and men.
He's Just Not That Into You told all of us ladies what we truly had to hear...
