It took me a little while to "get this" make up. It actually took me several months! This is the second mineral brand make up I have ever tried.
I must admit that the first time I tried it I didn't like it so much. After taking a few pictures, I could see what everyone was saying... the shine on my face was ridiculous! I vowed to give it a second try. That turned into a third one.. then fourth...
Finally I got it. The trick is to apply Mineral Veil before the actual foundation itself. THEN dust on the foundation.
I love this because it really feels like you're not wearing any make up at all -- no heavyness or itchiness. I have oily/combination skin and it works really well in keeping the oil at bay on my t-zone and forehead. I layer the foundation with the multi-tasking face colour and the result is I get a nice glow.
I really like how the foundation can be "built" to the coverage you want. If I need more coverage, I buff more of the foundation on my face. If I want a more natural look.. I stick to just a tiny application -- one light buff over the entire face.
I recommend B.E. to those who have: sensitive skin (who do not have sensitivities to bismuth oxychloride), oily/acne prone skin, rosacea, who are afraid of liquid foundation and want something natural, or those who have gone through surgical skin treatments and want to try mineral make up (like microdermabrasions or peels).
My only issue is... whenever I where this, (because I cannot feel it on my face) I often forget that I'm wearing make up and then end up washing my face really, really late at night! They say it's make up so natural you can sleep in, but I never do that -- not even with mineral make up.
If you go to Sephora the ladies will help you to find a shade that's right for you. They also can give you samples so you can take it home and try it out.
The price is expensive but it will last you a long time. I think it's pretty worth it.

I find this to be an average-to-good conditioner. When my hair is feeling a little dry and damaged (from the sun or winter frizzle) and needing more moisture, I turn to this one. I do find it to be much heavier than most conditioners though, and I find when I use it too often.. my scalp gets a little greasy. Sometimes it might also weigh my hair down (I already have very heavy hair!). To combat this, I will only use once or twice per week, switching up with a lighter brand in between.
Overall I find it to be a good conditioner for a drugstore brand. It's fairly cheap and effective. If you have a drier hair type that needs more moisture, this product might just be the one for you!

I love Kashi Go Lean cereal. It's high in protein and fiber, healthy and not to mention really tasty! The only thing I don't like about it is sometimes I find it way too sweet and crunchy -- to the point that my jaw hurts from chewing. So instead of having a full serving of Kashi by itself, I often will mix it with some other cereal, like All Bran or Shreddies. It makes it less crunchy in my mouth and far less sweet.
A little bit more on the expensive side for cereal (retails for about $5-6 CDN), but I like to have a nice satisfying bowl of cereal for my morning breakfast that will take me through until lunch time.
This is a regular-buy for me.

I received the shampoo and conditioner to review from the Opposites Attract line from Aussie. I am quite pleased with the products!
The shampoo cleans my hair without any build up, and the conditioner leaves my coarse but straight hair soft and shiny. What I liked about this line is that they kept up to their promise -- my hair felt strong (like it could withstand more blow drying, aand still was soft). This was perfect for the Canadian winter season, when my hair is much drier. It smells pretty good too.
This was the first time I have ever tried any of Aussie's products. I would definitely buy this again, and other products in the same line.

To be honest, I'm not sure how different it is from their Classic Collection. Still I find that it does clean and condition my long hair fairly well. I have been using the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner one. This is good for when you're on the go (because it does 2 jobs at once). But I find I still need to use another conditioner after on the ends of my hair as they're still dry.
I may buy this product again, but I think that there may be ones that do the job better. I will keep searching and testing. But if I don't find anything better, this one works fine.

This place is great. It's a create-your-stir-fry restaurant.
The vegetable, noodle, and protein selection is pretty extensive. You pick the vegetables/noodles/rice/protein you want and they stir fry it up for you. The food selection is pretty healthy (it's hard to go wrong with stir-fry).
They give you soo much food that you will have lunch over for the next day. The trick is to FILL YOUR PLATE as much as you possibly can. You can even have the vegetables and noodles falling over the sides but do it if you want to make sure you have lunch for the next day.
It's also really fun "designing" your own meal. I've been there only once but I definitely will be back again.

Benefibre is my favourite fibre supplement in the market. One teaspoon adds an extra 3 grams of fibre to water/juice/your meal. You can add it to food/water and your family will have no idea that it's there! It can easily be added to recipes to make them more fibrefull.
I like that it has no taste and does not change the texture of the water, it dissolves completely. I like to put some in my oatmeal (on days I have instant, where there is less in the packets) to up the fibre content or stir it into water or juice. I like this one in particular because the fibre is all natural, 100% vegetable fibre from chicory root. There are also no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives added -- there are some on the market that have many.
More fibre keeps you satisfied, which means you're less likely to snack later on at night.
This is a great way to meet your recommended daily dose of fiber. It's convenient and only adds 5 calories per teaspoon. I highly recommend!

I agree with previous reviewer, whey protein powder is a great supplement to help your muscles recover after a workout! It's quick, easy and convenient.
My only issue with whey protein is that some can taste really bad (Yea ok, I'm big on taste but I'm all about the taste of food and the nutrition!). There are some brands on the market that are better tasting than others. Generally, though you can make them taste better by changing up what you mix them with. If I have chocolate flavour, then I will mix it with milk. Strawberry goes better with OJ. Experimenting helps you to decide what works best for you in terms of taste!
I have yet to recommend a good brand yet. But I will once I find a tasty one!

LUNA Bars are energy bars for women. They are from the same makers of Clif Bars that you might have seen in grocery stores.
LUNA Bars are suppose to be made with women in mind. They like LARABARS are also around 200 calories each and are low in fat. They have enough protein and fibre to satisfy you for a snack midday. I like how I can pop one into my purse to eat when hunger strikes later on in the day.
The issue I have with LUNA bars is like the issue I have with many energy bars -- they're not exactly the most tasty. The flavours I like are Lemon Zest and Nutz Over Chocolate. The rest of kind of meh, and I have tried maybe about 5 or 6 flavours all together. Not too great. Many of the other flavours that they have on their website I don't even think are available in Canada yet. That's another thing I do not like about these, the newer products take forever to be carried in stores in Canada.
Oh and they're about 70% organic.
If you want to try them out, stick with the ones that I suggested. They are the "best" tasting.
