Ok, so this is not what any of us deserve to have on our faces. Maybelline, you really dropped the shimmer ball on this one, and unfortunately all of the shimmer particles landed in this primer. My preference when it comes to luminizing face primers are for them to be glowy, not shimmery. When I put a shimmery primer all over my face I end up looking both greasy and metallic, and while the Tinman from the Wizard of Oz is iconic, thats not a look I'm after.
In order to make the most of a bad situation, I will sometimes use the tiniest amount on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. But I usually just slap this on my shoulders and collar bones to give my body a glow, cause we can't let this baby go to waste.

Received this as a gift last year and I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to get it again this year. Luckily I did. This stuff is truly amazing. The smell is pleasant and not too overpowering and with consistent use you absolutely notice a difference in how soft your hands are. Seriously, I had my friends feel my hands and they said it was almost freaky how soft they were!
The only downside is the price is a bit higher but the moisture is unmatched so it may be worth it.

Very fragrant and love that it is gel. I do find the scents to be a little bit on the too chemically (absolutely unnatural smelling) however they do what they're intended to do.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Body Lotion
Terribly disappointed with this lotion. It feels tacky on my skin and does not leave me feeling moisturized...I just feel like a have a layer of something thick and sticky. Do not recommend.

This product is great for girls that want their at-home mani to go a little farther without the fuss. You gel nails without the need for a UV light. This top coat is easy to apply and takes as long to dry as your average nail polish.
You definitely get the gel nail vibe, the only thing you don't get is as much of the staying power. I notice my nails start to lift after about a week whereas salon gel last longer. Don't get me wrong, when comparing this to regular polish, this is miles ahead in terms of being chip-free and longer lasting.
I recommend going eyes-open and realizing you likely won't get the same result at home as you would in a salon..unless perhaps you did buy your own UV light.
