Me and a friend stopped at the Burgoo location on Main street after attending an event in the neighbourhood. Up to this point, I had never eaten there so I didn't know what to expect but the cheerful and sunny patio seems very welcoming. We decided to go with the brunch menu and since I was in a mood for eggs, I ordered their Oeufs Coquette an egg and veggies dish that came with a side salad. The quantity of food was enough to satisfy every appetite and the side salad had an amazing dressing. Because the day was nice and sunny, we sat on the patio to enjoy the sun and the multicultural crowd filling the street sidewalks on Sundays. I peeked through the rest of the menu to notice that they have included various Mexican, French, Spanish and BC specialties to satisfy every craving. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, the waitress was attentive and polite and the food was delicious. I will be going back there if I am in the area for sure! -

I have to admit I didn't even know that there was an Olive Garden location in British Columbia. But after me and a couple of friends were close to the Langley location and someone suggested we go, I was glad we did. I will start with the only downfall during our visit to the restaurant - the time you are waiting for a table. Being Saturday, the place was super busy and we spent about 20 at the bar. For us, it wasn't a big deal, we chatted and had a drink or two at the bar after which our table was ready. The server was a really nice girl, attentive and polite and she was making sure we were being well looked after. She offered me a few options since I am veggie person and readily offered suggestions to my boyfriend who wasn't sure what to have. Our food arrived pretty quicky after we all had their standard salad and excellent bread sticks and everyone was happy with their meal. All in all, I have to say my experience was positive and I am looking forward to going there again. -

I am very happy with this product, this puts a little layer on top of my skin and keeps it from sweating. I also like the fact that is doesn't have an overwhelming smell and I can feel it working without any discomfort. I almost always forget to put it on at night (as directed on the product's instructions) and instead I do it first thing in the morning and it still works. Even though the price is a little bit higher, for anyone who has a problem sweating a little too much, you can't never put a price on anything that can prevent you form this kind of embarrassment. Highly recommended! -

Great for make up removal! I also love cleaning my face with it as part of my evening routine and preparing my skin for the night. It is light, hypoallergenic and is 100% fragrance free. I use it along with my L'occitane Ultra Comforting cream and couldn't be happier. The price is a little bit higher than the regular cleansing milks you can find in department stores, but this one feels really light on my skin and it helps me get control of any redness or irritation on my skin. After introducing this as part of my daily routine, I haven't used any other product for my make up removal. -

I got this product as a gift for my birthday and I absolutely love it. Having sensitive skin and both oily and dry spots on my face, it is hard to find a cream that doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores. This cream feels perfectly light on my skin and has improved the redness of my complection. It seems to have a calming effect when my skin feels irritated and I break out a lot less then I used to. The cream doesn't contain any fragrance, colorant, preservatives or alcohol and it is great for people who have sensitive skin. I highly reccomend this product as part of your daily facial skin routine.

I have tried many different foundations over the years and have always ended up switching one product with another as they either didn’t work for me or even worse, worsened my sensitive skin. That all changed when I decided to give this foundation a try. I have combination skin that is somehow sensitive and some foundations gave me blemishes or clogged my pores. Luckily for me this foundation is very easy to use, gives me excellent coverage and covers any imperfection smoothly and evenly without the heavy feeling some foundations are all about. The price is a little bit higher than what I would normally pay for foundation but very much worth it. There are only two issues with the product that I found very easy solutions for:
1. I apply a light coverage of mineral powder on top of the foundation in order to keep my skin from starting to go too shiny after 3-4 hours
2. I use a little bit of color all over my face as there aren’t too many shades of the foundation and while the palest is a little pale for me, the next shade is too yellow for my face color.
Having said that, I am happy that my skin condition has improved and I have used this foundation exclusively for the last year. I will recommend this for everyone that can find the right shade for their skin.

This is my favourite cafe to go on Sundays. Whether you are in a mood for salads, paninis, soup or one of their fantastic cooked entrees (mushroom risotto and butternut squash ravioli have to be on top of my list), this is the place to be for your weekend brunch. They have a good choice of beer, wine, tea, coffee or juice and their patio is one of the most wonderful places in the middle of the city (right next to Robson Street). The staff consists mostly of young people and they are all very friendly. If it is sunny outside, the patio filled with flowers and the sounds of classical music makes the perfect place to slow down a bit and relax. Oh, and their lemon bars and apple crumble desserts are totally delicious! Highly recommended place! -

I have been to The Naam several times and the food has always been pretty good. Being a vegetarian, it is always nice to go to a place that has more than 2 items on the menu to choose from. The best thing about the restaurant is that it is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and it offers a very "woody" relaxing atmosphere. Although it does get really busy at times (and if it is cold, you get stuck waiting at the door), it is worth the wait. Their sesame baked fries with their own Miso gravy are to die for (you can even buy their Miso gravy to take home) and among the menu they have burritos, dragon bowls, enchiladas, nachos, salads and variety of teas, fresh-squeezed juices, wine, beer and desserts suitable even for vegans. My favourite dish on the menu are the dragon bowls - healthy and delicious! The portions are also really good size and the servers are ready to answer any questions about the menu if you are new to the place. The only downfall is that the place is small so it might feel really crowded but the bottom line is that if you are in the Kits area, this is a restaurant you have to try. -
