I've tried other Micellar waters and not been thrilled with the results, but Simple's Micellar water is great! It absolutely removed makeup and mascara all on its own. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It's great! I love that it is unscented too. I definitely saw an improvement in my skin condition after using this for a couple of weeks. I'll be buying this again!

I was pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer. I love that it is completely unscented. It's actually quite thick and rich, so a little goes a long way. After using it for a couple of weeks the condition of my skin is so much nicer! I'm definitely going to be buy this again.

I was really excited to try this new toothpaste out and get a more radiant smile. Unfortunately after just two days of use my teeth became extremely sensitive to everything (hot/cold/sweet/pressure). It was terrible. I had to discontinue using this toothpaste.
For that reason, I can't recommend it. :/

This product claims to remove makeup (even mascara) with no rubbing. For me, that was not the case. I would use it on a cotton pad and then use a fresh cotton pad with it to check to see if it removed all my makeup in one go. It did not. I'd consider this product more of a toner than a stand alone makeup remover. It was refreshing to use after washing my face.

I received this product as a member of the PRC in exchange for my honest review.
With a baby that hasn't slept through the night in over 3 months in the house, there's not a product on earth that could actually make me look any less tired. That being said, I still really liked this product as a moisturizer. The winter is really cold and dry here, and my skin suffers as a result. This hydra-gel locked moisture in and lasted all day. I didn't love the smell (to me it smelled like cheap shampoo), but it worked well enough so I tolerated it.
I'd recommend this product to a friend who was having winter dry skin for sure!

I opted for the unsweetened Coconut Dream beverage. I have a mild lactose intolerance, so I'm always looking for a nice dairy milk alternative. What I miss most about cow's milk is just being able to drink a glass of milk! When looking for a substitute there are a few things that factor into my decision. Taste, texture, and calcium.
I found the taste of the unsweetened Coconut Dream beverage to be pretty good. It had a very subtle coconut flavour without being at all sweet. I liked it quite a bit. The texture was nice too. Very smooth and a bit creamy without feeling thick or chunky/gritty.
The calcium content was where it fell flat. There is NO CALCIUM in this beverage. It is NOT fortified and that was really disappointing. I looked at the options available at my grocery store and there was no fortified coconut dream. The options that were fortified were not ones I would buy for various reasons. Almond Dream was fortified, but I'm allergic to almonds. The blends were fortified, but they all contained almond milk. The Oat Dream was fortified, but it also contained vegetable oil (yuck). Cashew Dream was not available at my grocery store, but if it was and it is fortified, it would have been my first choice. Soy Dream is fortified, but let's be honest, I'm over soy.
One of the great benefits of dairy milk is the high calcium content. That's something I'm looking to replace in my diet, so having no calcium in the milk replacement was really disappointing. I'm better off purchasing lactose free dairy alternatives.

I went with the Little Kid School Combo for my 3 year old son who just started preschool last week. He chose the robot design. I'm really happy with the Mabel's Labels Little Kid School Combo. I've applied the labels to a lunch kit, snack containers, sweat shirts, and a rain coat so far. I used the "dog tag" style label to my son's backpack too. The labels have been through the dishwasher, and thought the washing machine and dryer. The labels are still on and not showing any signs of wear. They were super easy to apply too!
I haven't used other brands of labels so I can't really compare, but I'd definitely recommend Mabel's Labels. The ordering process was easy and they look super cute!

Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep

Skin Sleep. Sleep. Need I say more? As a mom of an almost 3 year old boy who is expected baby #2 any day not, I can honestly say that I haven't slept 8 hours a night straight through in a very very long time. So any product that claims to make me look like I have slept for at least that length of time is going to be on my list of things to try. Lucky me that I was chosen to try this one for free!
Now I was skeptical that any product could make my face look rested. I mean, really? I don't even know what "rested" means anymore. I used the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep every night for two full weeks, but it didn't take that long to see results. The very first morning after using it my skin looked better. Brighter, smoother, refreshed. I was thoroughly pleased. I've continued to see these amazing results over the two weeks, and even feel like I could go makeup free. Maybe. Maybe if Chick Advisor had also sent along the Idealia Eyes too...
I found the Skin Sleep to be quite thick and sort of sticky after applied. It did kind of feel like it sat on the surface of my skin and took quite a while to soak in. But after seeing the results, that didn't matter. I really like the smell of this. It's almost like a light rose smell. Nothing chemically or offensive, so the smell didn't bother me when I was trying to fall asleep (and with my pregnant nose, that's a miracle!).
So if you're not sleeping through the night like me, give this a try! It might not keep your toddler or newborn from waking you up throughout the night, but at least your skin can sleep through it all!

The first thing that surprised me about this serum was that it was a cream based serum. I'm used to my regular vitamin C serum which is more of a fast absorbing oil base, so the Vichy Idealia Life Serum took some getting used to for me. I do wish that it absorbed more quickly, but it wasn't a huge deal that it didn't. I used this product in the mornings under my regular moisturizer. It does say that the serum can be used alone or under moisturizer. I didn't find the serum moisturizing enough to use it on its own.
After using it for two weeks I actually really liked it. I was using it along side the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep (used at night only), so I can't say for sure if this product works as well on its own as it does with the Skin Sleep. The bottom line is that my skin looks more radiant and refreshed, and feels smoother since using this product. It's a keeper!
The biggest downside for me is the cost. $59?!?! That's awfully steep, but I'll admit that the product really does work.
