I received the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush free as a member of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club.
I've never used a brush like this for cleaning my face. Years and years ago I used a manual facial brush to wash my face, but I haven't used that in over 10 years. I was a little worried that the Clinique Sonic System would be harsh on my skin as my skin is sometimes a bit sensitive. When I took the brush out of the package, I was surprised at how incredibly soft the bristles were. I put it on the charger for a full 24 hours before the first use, as per the instructions. While charging, there was an orange light that flashed very infrequently to indicate that it was still charging. Once charged, the light turned solid green. Since putting it on the charger (2 weeks ago), I haven't needed to charge it again.
The instructions said to start with a 30 second cleansing once a day at first and to build up to using it for a full minute twice a day. Maybe it was because it was my first time using a brush system like this, but there was no way I could wash my whole face in just 30 seconds the first few times. I found I was taking at least a full minute to get the brush around my whole face. This was especially true when I was using it in the evenings to remove my makeup. I started using it twice a day after 3 or 4 days, and found I was able to get more efficient with it and get my whole face clean in 45 seconds to 1 minute. Despite needing to use it for more than the recommended time for new users, I didn't find that it irritated my skin. The green angled tip was great for my forehead, nose, and chin. I also used the green angled tip on any rough patches of my skin (along the jaw line for me). I was really impressed at how clean my skin felt after using the Clinique Sonic System. It removed my make up really well, and once I started using it in the mornings too, it was great for prepping my skin for the serum and moisturizer that I use.
For a facial cleanser, I just use a bar of Baby Dove Sensitive so I wasn't able to just easily squeeze cleanser onto the brush. I found that I could rub the bar of Dove onto the wet brush head until it was foamy, and that worked really well.
After using this brush twice a day for a couple of weeks, my skin feels softer and looks cleaner. I found that at first it was pulling up a lot of impurities from my skin (gross but awesome), and once those impurities had made their way to the surface, the overall condition of my skin improved. I felt like my night gel, serum, and moisturizer absorbed better after cleansing my face with the Clinique Sonic System.
I loved that I didn't have to charge it every day, and that I could take it into the shower with me. It's so convenient to be able to wash my face in the shower rather than having to take the time to do this at the sink. The only thing I would like it to have is a spare brush head (a second one). For $95 I think it should include two brush heads instead of just one, especially since new brush heads cost $26 US (and are not currently available for purchase online on Clinique's Canadian website).
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to a friend.

I was supposed to receive the brow pencil, but instead received the gel. My brow hairs are quite sparse naturally, and this product is sort of like a mascara for brows. With sparse brow hairs it just does not work at all. Maybe if you have thick eyebrows it would add definition, but it's hard for me to say. I've been looking for a new brow product for a long time, and sadly, this is not it.

I actually love this mascara! It adds great length and volume. It definitely requires at least 2 coats though. The upper lash brush gets quite goopy at the wide end which is annoying, but it works so well that I didn't mind too much. I wish it had a better opening so more product came off the brush, but otherwise it's great!

I found this lotion to be quite heavy for day time use. I was really disappointed that it had a sunscreen smell to it. It's unscented, but it still smelled like it was a sunscreen. It wasn't easy to apply and it was kind of sticky. I might use this as a regular sunscreen, but I wouldn't be using it on my face. I have sensitive skin that ranges from normal to oily and just found it way to heavy.

I received a free Lean Cuisine Fresh Inspirations as a member of the PRC. I opted to try the chicken teriyaki variety.
For the most part, this was actually okay. The chicken wasn't dry, the sauce was pretty tasty, and the rice wasn't crunchy or excessively dried out. Most of the veggies were okay (the carrots and the broccoli), but the snap peas were pretty sad. They were limp and shrivelled up and were not yummy. Other than the limp snap peas, it wasn't too bad for a frozen meal. There was actually a lot of sauce, and next time I might only use half or three quarters of it instead of using all of it. Being able to customize the meal a bit is nice.
I found the portion to be decent, which surprised me. The Lean Cuisines I've had in the past have always been super tiny and left me ravenous. The portion size of the Fresh Inspirations was much better. I felt pretty full and satisfied after eating it. There was quite a bit of sodium in it, which is always disappointing, but not shocking when it comes to frozen meals.
The biggest downside is the price. I found it for $4.99 at Co-op, but it was over $5.50 at Safeway. For that price I could get a fresh sandwich at Subway... If they were priced closer to $3.50 or $3.75 I might consider buying this product again.

I thought these were going to be great, but they're terrible. For starters, I only received the refill package and not the dispenser. When I went to open the package and use one I ended up pulling out three despite my best efforts to only get one out of the package. The refill package is not resealable, so I had to keep it in a ziploc bag to keep them from drying out. This is super inconvenient and just plain ugly on the bathroom counter. They ended up getting kept in the bathroom cupboard which was out of reach from the toilet so I'd always forget they were even around to use. The next problem was that they were wet... as in extremely wet. It left me soaked to the point I'd have to sit and air dry for a few minutes, or dry up with toilet paper (and the Cottonelle toilet paper left enough pieces behind without trying to wipe off super wet skin on top of it). The third problem was the smell. These cloths are heavily perfumed. It's gross. I wouldn't use scented pads or liners, so why on earth would I ever wipe myself with a soaking wet perfumed cloth? I just wouldn't. I can only see the heavy fragrance being a problem for those with sensitive skin, or those more prone to UTIs or yeast infections.
For a better price, and a resealable air tight container, baby wipes do the same thing (and are available in "natural" unscented varieties)

I received this product as part of the product review club. I hated this toilet paper. Aside from the outrageous price, it left pieces behind... lots of them. Yuck.
