I have Rosacea and like the reviewer above, I heard an ad on the radio and decided to look into it. I read a bunch of reviews (nearly all positive) and decided to give it a try ... despite the 20.00cdn price tag.
I have NO idea HOW this product had so many positive reviews. I found this product terrible. Not only did it dry out my skin completely, I also had a severe breakout after a few days of use!! I've never seen anything like it!
I stopped using it immediately after the breakout and just left it near my sink. Just like the reviewer above, I was REALLY hoping it wasn't from the soap. A few weeks later I tried it again and the problems reappeared within the first couple of uses. I didn't really want to just throw it out so I thought I would just use it on the rest of my body (thinking that it just wasn't sensitive enough for my face). Well that was a mistake. My legs broke out after just 2 uses. I learned my lesson after that.
The soap is now gone ... far away from me ...

The brush is nice and soft and doesn't leave any streaks behind! It's fairly wide too so it makes the application quick and easy! The drying time is nice on this one too! By the time I'm finished 5 toes, the first 5 are already dry (dry enough for a second coat if needed, but I still wouldn't walk around right away :) ... having said that, the drying time was still in the 5 minute range)
As far as "the chip factor" goes, it's hard to tell. I think the longest it's gone is about a week. I find it hard to talk about the chip factor mainly because it reeeeeeeeally depends on what you do during the day. It'll definitely last you a few days though! I found the chipping started around the cuticle area, which for the most part can be touched up relatively easily.
The other thing I noticed with this one was the actual packaging. The bottle is squared off ... so is the brush holdy thing, which actually makes it a bit easier to open. This could just be me though :)
Note: Contains no formaldehyde, toluene, or phthalates (according to their website)

This is the second time I've purchased this trio and I don't plan on stopping! :)

According to the website this eyeshadow should have been "Super soft, blendable eye shadow that lasts for up to 8 hours. Creamy pressed powder texture delivers bold colour with long lasting wear". The only part I agree with is the "super soft"... +

The only part I agree with is the "super soft" part of it. The rest of it just doesn't seem to match this product. There is nothing bold about this colour. It takes several applications for it to look remotely purple and even then it's not the purple I was hoping for. It just seems to lack pigmentation. I am in no way an expert on make up BUT I have had other eyeshadows that go on nicely in one or two applications and look exactly what I thought they were going to look like.
I have not closed to door to Rimmel products completely but I will not be purchasing this specific eyeshadow again.

Now don't get me wrong, the water tasted like water BUT in this case you are also getting a thick glass bottle for $2.95 for a 375ml! Reusable people! I have also seen 800ml ones for $9.95.
I've had mine for over a year and no problems so far. I've dropped it and had it in my purse losely aaaand it's still in one piece and no leaking! I like mine so much I purchased two more! The weight of it isn't too bad either, I'd say not much heavier then some of the other water bottles I've seen out there.
So far I have only seen them in a store called "@Home" in Ottawa. If I find them anywhere else I will update the review!
Happy drinking!!

Use a VERY small amount. A little really does go a long way with this product as it's a thick gel consistency that covers very very well. I have thick hair that reaches just over half way down my back and I use 2/3 of a teaspoon of it. The bottle lasts a really long time, which makes this purchase worth every penny.
I'll also add that according to the Paul Mitchell website, it is also a great moisturizer for your scalp. I haven't seen a difference but I'll trust them on that one.
There's really no "smell" to it. It just smells like ... product. It's a light smell that does not linger nor does it cover up the smell of your shampoo.
This one is definitely a buy for me as it works and lasts a really long time so the price tag doesn't scare me away!

I was not impressed with this conditioner at all, which was a shame as I'm definitely a fan of Lush. The bottle claims that it's for "dry, damaged or curly hair". I have dry and wavy hair and I found this conditioner did very little for either of those issues. It's VERY light ... almost ... well ... just tooooo liquidy. When I was using it in the shower I just felt like I wasn't using enough of it. I also tried using it as a leave in conditioner (the sales clerk suggested using it as a leave in). That didn't seem to do much either. In fact it just made my hair feel greasy. I should probably add that in addition to my hair being wavy and can be dry at times, it's also thick. MAYBE this conditioner is just not suited for my type of hair? I just find it hard to believe that it can be so ineffective.
I'm also not a fan of the smell (that's an understatement ... I really really really dislike the smell). I've used some of their coconut scented products before and they were great! Coolaulin ... well ... I find it hard to explain it as anything other then a burning smell. It's not very pleasant at all.
I'm doing whatever I can to finish this bottle and not have to deal with it anymore but it's just so hard lol. I don't want to just throw it out and I can't use to much of it at a time because ... well I find the smell lingers.
Overall I just didn't like it and I would never buy it again.

So ... I'm not much of a bath person ... in fact ... I literally cannot tell you how many years have passed since my last bath ... until today that is. A friend of mine "dragged" me to one of the smelliest stores in the city ... it's name ... Lush. Although the smell can be overwhelming at times, it's really not that bad once you're inside! Just like any other product line, some of their products smell icky ... but others ... absolutely lovely! There ... I used the word lovely ... I told myself I had to use it at least once in this review!
Today's item ... The Blackberry Bath Bomb! I have to admit I was sceptical at best when I was told how "fabulous" these bath bombs are. The price alone woulnd't have convince me. At 5.95 for 180g of bath bombiness it's not the cheapest "one time use" item BUT the smell was enough to reel me in (it doesn't actually smell of blackberries ... at least I don't think it does)... well that and it was free for me that day!... HA! yay free stuff! oh! and it's purple!!
I took my free sample home and left it under the bathroom sink for a couple of weeks ... who am I kidding ... it's been there for a couple of months now. I have to admit, the bathroom cupboard smelled uber nice!! Today I decided was the day. I grabbed a book and waited (impatiently) for the tub to fill up. Once in the tub I took the bath bomb and dropped it in. It started fizzy like mad! It was actually quite entertaining! Within seconds the water turned this awesome dark purple colour and the smell filled the bathroom. The oils from this thing cover you instantly. Definately leaves the skin nice and soft!
I've read in some reviews that this particular bath bomb leaves a lot of residue behind, leaving the bathtub purple. I did not find this to be the case. I was so ready to have to scrub the tub that I was actually a bit disappointed afterwards lol.
Anyway ... enough rambling ... the product does what it's supposed to do. It's relaxing, smells nice and leaves your skin feeling great!
If I took baths regularly, I think the price would scare me off ... but since I don't plan on taking them all that often, I can definately see myself getting this one again!

Let me start by saying I have long, thick (puffy), wavy (frizzy) and "processed" hair (can be dry at times) and that I've tried several different types of shampoos in the past ranging from super cheap pharmacy brand to the more expensive salon kind (this one falls in the more expensive category as you are paying $18.95 cdn for 220g). No matter what shampoo I’ve used (I haven’t had any bad experiences with any of them) I’ve found that I’ve definitely needed to follow them up with either a regular conditioner or a leave-in conditioner. (Now I have to admit I haven’t tried ALL these shampoos without following them up with conditioner but I have tried quite a few on their own).
Curly Wurly is the first shampoo that I've used without any conditioner at all and I have to admit my hair turned out great (I used about a teaspoon of it ... this may vary slightly from person to person). It was soft, manageable and weighed down just enough to get rid of the frizz and best of all did not look oily as some heavier shampoos tend to do. I also found that my "waves" were more pronouced. BUT ... now here's the but ... this was only the case after blow drying my hair. The second time I used the shampoo I did not blow dry my hair and let it dry on its own (I was curious). This resulted in the some of the frizz coming back. I'll be going back to Lush to see if I can find a conditioner to go with the shampoo for the days I don’t feel like drying.
As far as the smell and consistency goes ...
When I initially opened the jar all I could smell was playdoh ... yup ... good ol' playdoh ... and in all honesty it STILL smells like playdoh IN the jar. Once it's in your hair though the playdoh smell goes away and leaves your hair smelling like coconuts with a hint of vanilla. I find it's a nice soft smell and not at all like the strong coconut smell you'd normally find in tanning oils and such. The consistency is … well weird. It’s thick and pasty and has little itty bitty chunks of coconut in it. I read a few reviews that said getting the coconut out of your hair proved difficult. I didn’t find this to be the case. The first time I used the shampoo I brushed my hair IN the shower to make sure all the coconut was gone … the second time I just rinsed as normal and didn’t find any shavings left behind.
All in all I would definitely purchase this shampoo again (and hopefully find a conditioner to go with it).
