A good patch to treat post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or erythema, especially from acne. Layering this on top of a solid hyperpigmentation routine helps to reduce the look of dark spots faster since it helps to form a barrier which can stop picking and helps to retain a lot of hydration. If the ingredients in this patch like the niacinamide, tranexamic acid or the vitamin C derivative, deposit into the skin, then it should also help to further speed up the process.
