I really enjoy these brushes, and I think they are pretty good quality if you get them with promos. I really liked how the older ones worked as they looked quite classic, and reminded me of the lancome brushes. There are quite a few mac dupes (especially the eye brushes) in the range and they are fairly good quality. A couple of the brushes are hit or miss, though they have recently updated their products, so they might be better now. (Also noticed that they are also the same as the joe fresh brushes and the same price). From what I can tell, most of the range is the same. I would recommend getting the regular quo line eye brushes, and the pro line face brushes (as these ones are much softer). I have had 1 or 2 brushes fall off the handle, but generally most of them are well constructed. These brushes likely won't blow you away, but they do work well, and they are constructed decently. -

I really like how this gave my skin a healthy rosy glow, it wouldn't call it a serum, as I think it functions more of like a makeup base. I don't think this has any benefits for the skin, other than making it look healthier. This makes your skin really silky soft, and gives it a really subtle glow. The smell of this is also relatively non offensive, and the packaging is quite pretty. However, this product for some reason left my dry patches more dry, after washing it off and it stung when applied to the skin. I would maybe only recommend this for people with oily skin only, and if you are combination skin, only put this on your super oily areas, and moisturize well before using this. For how much this is, and how well it works, even with a coupon I would not repurchase, as I think it left my skin in a worse state after using it than prior. -

I received this product as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. I'm pretty happy with my weight already, but I always feel hungry, especially at night after dinner. I was really surprised by this, as it is VERY filling, I didn't feel the urge or need to snack at night again, and I did not even finish the entire bar. This is fudge, so it is already very heavy, but its also feels very dense. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of it, as there were nuts or rice crackers inside that gave it a more satisfying crunch. The taste might be a little off putting to some, as the aftertaste is a little artificial (kind of bitter) and the initial taste is rather sour. It does taste mostly like fudge though. -

I bought this on clearance, and I am so glad i bought a couple more. For makeup free washing this is great, it is gentle, smells comforting (kind of like your grandma's house). I previously had used the olay foaming face wash, and wondered if this performed similarly. I did have qualms about this, as it is not for sensitive skin like the olay one, but I think it works well as a basic face wash (especially for the morning). I find that it works well with a facial brush (vibrating or not) and I feel like it leaves my skin clean, but not stripped of oil. During drier seasons, this worked perfectly. I probably will switch to something else during oilier seasons, but I think it would work well followed up by toner also. This will not take makeup off, but it will do better with a face brush, after using makeup remover though, this does pretty good at removing residue of that. -

Usually I tend to use face cleansers that have salycylic acid or tea tree oil in it, but my aunt recommended I try it, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think this is great for a basic face wash, no bells and whistles. It works pretty well with a facial brush (vibrating or not) and I feel like it leaves my skin clean, but not stripped of oil. For this reason, this will not remove makeup by itself (paired with a face brush, its better). I also did not have any major skin issues when using this, but because it does not remove oil, I did have to use a toner afterwards. For those of you with dry skin, this is great. For oily skin, I would only use this as a first step, followed up by toner. I would also recommend this as a morning face wash, as opposed to at night, as it is very gentle, but effective. -

This is the cheapest eyelash curler at SDM, it is pretty sturdy, and it fits my eye well. However, I find that this eyelash curler performs similarly to the quo eyelash curlers (which curl only very slightly) and the revlon classic lash curler (this one performs worse though). When you curl your eyelashes, you have to press very hard, as the pad on the eyelash curler is very springy, but tough, and the metal is too thick to be able to give a very dramatic curl. Since buying it, i've changed out the rubber pads to another one that is softer and less tough, which works well with the eyelash curler. If you like the quo eyelash curlers, then this is perfect for you, especially as it is cheaper too. If you have spare rubber pads lying around that are soft and not tough, then this would work for you. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. -

I received this item as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I thought it was great that they included so many wax strips, and you could use them more than once, depending on amount of hair, as this would last a decent amount of time. The weird part is that they only included like 4 of the post wax wipes, which they really should have included more of these. I'm not sure that I would use this for precision, because I'd be afraid of ripping off too much from my eyebrows, but for general clean up, this seems to work pretty well. Above the lips, it works great, not a ton of precision needed there. Smell-wise, this is pretty non-offensive, but it does have a floral smell. -

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I've used Batiste Dry Shampoos in the past and they work great. They are more expensive from the drugstore, so they had better perform well. Likewise, it is great to see a dark dry shampoo that is available from the drugstore, as dry shampoo can look white and powdery on dark hair. This dry shampoo definitely solves that problem. However, this does create other problems in that the dry shampoo powder transfers pretty easily, like when you scratch your head, or put a white hat on. Spraying is also a delicate and precise process, as this doesn't disappear on walls. Because this is powdery, this is great at getting rid of oil, so looks wise, everything is great. I would only use it if you are planning to wash your hair that night, or if you don't tend to touch your hair very much, but you are still going for third or fourth day hair. Overall, great option for dark hair, practicality suffers though. -

I was sent this product on behalf of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I don't have a ton of concerns with needing to "lift" any areas of my face, but I do have dry spots on my face that this took care of pretty well. Texture-wise this is a little strange as this is a gel, so it takes a while to dry, but also as it is a gel formula, it doesn't mess with my oily areas either. I've been using this as a substitute for a moisturizing serum, and it tends to do well with minimal product. The scent though is something that does take a little getting used to. I don't know if I like the "cooling" sensation that this has, as that could possibly make my skin drier in the long term, and I feel like there are moisturizers that can do this job, without the smell and cooling sensation at a lower price point. -

I was sent this product on behalf of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I found that this micellar water is comparable to the marcelle micellar water, which is known to be comparable to the bioderma micellar water. This is the non-waterproof version with the pink cap, so by no means does it take off anything long wearing or waterproof. It struggles a little with mascara, depending on how many coats you put on, but I find that this removes my bb cream and concealer pretty well, there isn't a need for me to wash my face again. As with other micellar waters, after using this, my skin feels soft and moisturized, but where I live, I still need to put on a moisturizer on top of this. For the price that this micellar water is, it performs very well in comparison to other micellar waters, and in comparison to the nivea micellar water, which is similar in price, this is much better in how effective it is in removing makeup. -
