I think that this brush is great for beginners as it is so cheap. While it isn't the softest brush in the world, it does do a good job with setting powder, blush and bronzer. I have also found that the handle is loose from the ferrule, but it hasn't come off yet. This brush also sheds, but it has never shed during application of powder. While it may lose a hair every once in a while, I do think that this is a tolerable amount for a $1 brush. -

The elf studio powder brush is amazing, it is very soft, works with powders and liquids, and is large enough to be better and faster than other brushes that do foundation. It also does blush and bronzer, and blends things in nicely. I did find that the hairs were uneven and needed trimming. My gripe with this brush is that it comes loose from the handle, which makes it uncomfortable to use.
The elf essential powder brush, I find to be ok. It's not the softest brush in the world, can feel scratchy, but it does a good job with undereyesetting powder and bronzer. I find that it is a good size for both those things, but it is too small for the whole face, as it takes too long, that's not to say that you can't use it to buff powder on the whole face. I do prefer the studio tapered brush, as it is essentially the same brush, but softer.

I have found the formulations of the ultra moist and ultra last to be somewhat similar, with the ultra last lasting a bit longer. The ultra last won't last all day, but they last long enough for the price. The matte color ones seemed to be the best, but I find that the ultra last line is very good. -

The matte color ones seemed to be the best, with the most color, but I feel like the majority of the lipsticks are good, with some not so good ones. -

I find that this works pretty well as a brow kit. I do wish that it came with tweezers like other kits, but this does come with a nice brush. While I do know that there are other colors on the website, it is always much easier to find the medium shade in stores. While this does work ok with my hair color, I find the brown to be a tad warm.
The consistency of the gel side is very interesting and lasts a relatively long time, the powder side is just light enough for me, I generally use each side alone, as I find that it looks too unnatural together. I only tend to use the gel side by itself if I am going out, and I use the powder shade with a brow fix for a more natural look.

This product really surprised me, it really is VERY shimmery. I find that a TINY drop is enough for my face because it is so shimmery. It is a little bit sticky, but it lasts pretty well on my cheeks.

I think that this is a really good eye primer, it covers slightly, mattifies, and adheres to shadows. It does what an eyelid primer is supposed to, and its amazingly cheap too!

I do have a couple gripes with this though. I find that you can't go over the initial line sometimes, or the liner will flake off. The liner also flakes off sometimes when rubbed. I also find it odd that this will stain my eyelid, despite flaking off. -
