I was in the store last week and happened to see this cereal. Curiosity got the better of me because I am a huge cereal muncher dry or with milk. I am pleased to report they are great. A nice super crunchy texture that does not get soggy fast in milk and they taste great. I gave them the 2 minute warning milk test and they passed with flying colours. They retained shape and had a firm texture and were still crunchy. They are currently Limited edition but I am hoping they will become a regular soon. 3/4 of a bowl is 100 calories 23 carbs (2 fibre 10 sugar). I generally judge a cereal by how snack-able and tasty it is dry. I give this 5 out of 5 stars. Good flavour, no mess on the hands and great to as a snack to munch on for kids and adults. -

I am 54 and was blessed with my fathers skin. He had very few wrinkles at 75 years as well as few Gray hairs. That said I do have a few wrinkles showing up around my eyes when I smile and 2 rather deep frown lines between my brows a gift from my mothers side of the family.
I started using the cream 11 days ago and I am noticing improvement. The wrinkles around my eyes plump up quickly when cream is applied and they are in fact decreasing viably. I was not too hopeful about my brow crease but I am pleased to say that there is improvement in the severity and depth of the creases. I used to say I could hold a piece of paper between my brows and now it's more like a post-it note and hopefully over more time it can be reduced to a postage stamp.
It goes on smooth with no gritty feeling and it is not greasy at all. The product absorbs easily so there is no worry about most of it ending up on your pillow at bedtime. The best thing I noticed was how incredibility smooth my skin felt after I applied the cream. It really feels like silk and it is amazing.
I will continue to use this product and hopefully my brow creases will become fine lines at best.

Crest 3D White 2-Hour Express Whitestrips
I tried whitening strips 5 years ago only to end up with a Salivary Infection so I was quite apprehensive to try them again. I started using the Crest Pro-Health line about 3 months ago with great results and decided to give it a go because it is manufactured by Crest and I only have to have it on for 2 hours instead of 30 minutes for 2 weeks.
I found applying the strips incredibly easy, getting them off the plastic took me longer as i don't have long nails. Once applied I did notice a small burning sensation at the tip of my tongue that lasted for about 15 minutes after that it was full speed ahead.
I kept the strips on for the full 2 hours and just passed the time writing up my other Elle reviews. I found it easy to talk and not the least bit uncomfortable. The strips stayed in place the entire 2 hours and were very easy to remove.
There was a white semi foamy residue on my teeth that didn't taste wonderful but it was not horrible either. I suggest you rinse immediately after you remove the stirps and try not to swallow until after you after rinsed.
My teeth are a good 30% whiter and the difference is quite noticeable. Being a tea drinker I will do this one more time next week to see if the will whiten any more.

As I get older I am noticing that my hair does not have the same luster it used to, it is drier, breaks easier and my grays have a mind of their own. I have tried dozens of shampoo and conditioners with limited results. I had resolved myself to the fact this was just another side effect of aging and I would have to learn to live with it I couldn't have been more wrong.
I received a sample of Pantene Expert Collection Age Defy Shampoo and Rejuvenating Hydration Masque and have washed my hair 3 times with this wonderful product. I have since purchased a full bottle of each and made this my regular shampoo and conditioner.
I have noticed a vast improvement in the look and feel of my hair. The shine has improved, the grays are under control and I am noticing a lot less breakage and fewer hairs in my brush. My hair feels much softer and fuller and is much more controllable than it used to be. This product really does defy the signs of aging in your hair.
I enjoyed the smell of both the shampoo and conditioner. I like the fact that you can use the shampoo every day and the conditioner a few times a week. The shampoo takes a bit to lather up but I loved how my hair looked after I washed it. It took about 8 washes before I began to see real results with the shampoo. You can feel quality of the conditioner as soon as you rinse it out. Your hair feels fuller and hydrated and you can really notice a decrease in frizziness after just one application.

Curiosity got the better of me this weekend and I stopped by Burger King to try out their new Gratifries.
These fries are crinkle cut with an outer skin that I found to be a bit tough but an interior more the consistency of mashed potatoes. They also had very little taste but I already thought that their fries lacked in flavour so in my opinion they taste about the same.
Personally I don't eat many fries but when I do indulge I prefer mine crispy.

The portion is smaller and they charge .30 cents more.
Now in my opinion Gratifries are not that gratifying. They are kind of mushy and really don't taste all that great but once they cool off they really don't have much going for them. They are not worth the extra .30 cents especially when the portion is smaller. To me if you are going to eat fries then mow down on the real deal just don't do it everyday.

I love my guacamole and this is among the best I have ever tried. This is not some drippy purée this is thick with chunks of avocado throughout. The flavour is just incredible and not at all spicy like others I have tried.
Originally they only came in the 7 oz packages and this was a problem. The plastic is so thick you cannot get into it without scissors or a very sharp knife *using your teeth to tear it open only leave you with sore teeth) and that meant it did not travel well in lunches because you cannot get it open.
They have since added a travel pack size and each package contains three easy open pouches. I cannot get enough of this stuff. I highly recommend this if you enjoy guacamole.

I recently purchased some Tilda Basmati rice I had been hearing so much about. It is precooked so all you have to do is massage the package tear the package a bit to vent and microwave it for 2 minutes. I picked up the Mushroom, Pilau (Indian), regular and Wholegrain.
The texture is great and all the rices smell divine and cook to perfection in just 2 minutes, , this is high quality rice.
1. Regular Basmati was a bit bland but we added some sweet and sour sauce and it was delicious.
2. Wholegrain Basmati had a much more pleasing flavour but still a bit bland for us but after we added some sauce it was quickly devoured.
3. Pilau Basmati had an incredible aroma, you could smell the curry and other spices the moment you opened the package. Sadly it did not taste the way it smelled. Don't get me wrong there was nothing wrong with it except it was bland. I just expected it to taste like it smelled and maybe have a little zing to it. We could not find a sauce to add to this so it was not a big hit.
4. Mushroom Basmati smelt like mushrooms but it also had no flavour.
I am a vegetarian and have been for over 40 years but after 3 ulcers I don't do spicy but I do like taste. They lacked flavour even for me but if you add your favourite sauces they are great. These would be great for younger kids.

I recently tried the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Treatment Mask to try and diminish some of my dark spots on my forehead sadly they are still there.
The first problem I ran into was getting the product out of the package it was not easy as it is so wet and slippery. Once out of the package the next hurdle was trying to open the mask up. This is no easy feat I will warn you It took me 20 minutes to open the actual mask up get it in the right position and attempt to put it on my face.
It is cold, wet, slippery and DO NOT GET ANY IN YOUR EYES.. IT BURNS. It takes a lot of manoeuvring to position the eye, nose and mouth holes properly. The product stretches and slides around on your face.
I let it sit for 10 minutes then removed the mask and attempted to massage the remaining stuff into my skin but there was just so much of it !
Yes my skin felt hydrated but beyond that I saw no significant improvement at all. Personally I would not spend my money on this product..

I was fortunate enough to be selected to review the Poise Moderate Absorbency Pads. I have been experiencing LBL for about 7 months now especially when I sneeze or cough and sometimes just from moving off the couch to fast. I have also noticed that if I hold it I don't always make it to the bathroom on time. Old age is not as graceful as I thought lol.
I had been in denial for the most part and just using period pads which are not very practical or comfortable. After trying Poise for just one afternoon I felt like I have been reborn. I now use them every day because they are thin, discreet, comfortable and a lot more absorbent than any period pad ever was. There is absolutely no odour either.
If you suffer from LBL set yourself freewith Poise and take control of things once and for all.

I have been a vegetarian for over 40 years and I have seen a lot of changes in the foods available for my kind in the last 10 years and all for the better. I am a huge hummus fan and I am always on the look out for new flavours. I came across the PC Mini Hummus last week and I was thrilled. It comes in Roasted Garlic or Original flavour and to my absolute delight it is packaged in 4 x 57 g containers sealed and ready to go with me anywhere so I can satisfy my Hummus craving whenever it hits.
The hummus is smooth, creamy, spreadable, dippable and goes with anything. I myself in the interest of science and this review dipped using premium plus crackers, Ritz crackers, Melba toast, wheat thins, bread sticks, carrot sticks, celery sticks and truth be told my finger on more than one occasion. Both flavours are incredible and fresh with a good long expiry date (not that expiry is ever a concern in my house).
Chickpeas, canola oil, lemon juice, water and garlic puree 140 calories and 9 carbs (2 fibre)
I give this a big Oh Ya on my yummy scale. Give it a try ! Good for you and great tasting.
