As someone who has oily and acne-prone skin, sunscreen is one of the hardest products to find suitable for my skin's needs. I was pleasantly shocked by this one though. It's so lightweight and has a nice mattifying finish. On top of that, it doesn't get irritatingly oily by the end of the day. Bonus but definitely important detail, it doesn't leave a white cast on my medium skintone. It's just moisturizing enough to feel comfortable on the skin and not cling to any dry skin I may have. It does not pill and wears nicely under ,makeup too, how amazing is that!!! My problem with the product is the consistency. It's a tad too thick so applying it evenly I find it to be a struggle without having to tug on my skin. The texture is also a little grainy which I find can be a bit irritating if your skin is sensitive. What was so disappointing though was finding a small hole right at the top of the bottle where the seam was not sealed properly which allowed the product to be exposed to air and possibly dust. I worry that can affect the efficacy of the sunscreen since the sunscreen filters can degrade much more easily. I'm also unhappy with the amount of product you are getting, only 48 grams, which is such a small amount if you apply it numerous times a day.

I have actually used this prodyct before being a part of this free review campaign and have enjoyed using it for a long time. My skin never gets irritated using it and I do see results when I pair it with my acne prescription. The key to results is to use this wash like a mask. Mssage on skin, leave it on for a couple of minutes, and then wash it off before applying moisturizer. It doesn't dry out my skin either even though I have used it everyday. I have even recommended this product to a family member and they use it religiously since the results speak for themselves. It's also great as a body wash, especially the underarms to combat body odout.

I like how soothing and non-stinging this sunscreen is. Even around the eyes I had no problem. However, the white caste is a bit too much for my liking, but it's wearable for medium skin tones. It helps that the sunscreen is slightly tinted. The pilling is the biggest offender here. It's not the worst in the pilling department of sunscreens but it still pills whenever I reapply it or if applied on skin that is flaking. The texture on the other hand is comfortable, not oily, and sets to a satin finish with a slight tackiness. I prefer spf 50+ though since I am using a prescription that makes my skin more sensitive to UV rays, but for home application, I'm good with this 30 SPF level. I highly recommend not putting any skincare underneath this sunscreen since it immediately pilled off the moment I applied it. This tends to be the case for most North American sunscreens sadly. -

I've tried a handful of patches before and this one is so far the best I've used performance wise. It sticks onto the skin really well and does extract a lot of gunk from whatever pore is inflamed. The only issue I have is that there's only one size, which is not too big or too small so it works on many sizes of acne, but it's still nice to have a few more size options. -

I love the texture of this cleansing oil. It's not overly heavy or oily, but very lightweight and thin in consistency. It glides on the face effortlessly with not even the slightest tugging or pulling either. My only downside with this oil is the fragrance. I really don't like how this oil smells and find it a little too strong for me. It melted my mascara and sunscreen very easily. It also emulsifies nicely under lukewarm water then I follow it up with a second gentle cleanse to get everything off. Overall, it works well for its intended purpose. -
