This stuff is great if you're looking for a "barely there" finish to smooth out your skin and even out your tone. I do find that it occasionally oxidizes but if you pair it with a good primer you'll be set. I will say that this is not a build-able foundation and it will slide around if you try to build it up to a higher coverage. It's great on summer days or when you're not really going anywhere! -

I'm picky with foundation. Picky as in will never buy the same foundation more than once, except this one. I can honestly say this is the only natural matte foundation I have ever found that does not make your skin look powdery, dry down too much, or slide off of my face. It's a medium coverage foundation that evens out skin tons and still looks like your skin. I have skin that tends to be more oily and I don't even need to set this with a powder which is normally a necessity for me. It blends beautifully into the skin and can be built up for more of a full coverage look. It never dries patchy and never oxidizes on my face. Trust me, you NEED this stuff! -

I've tried this foundation twice now, and both times promptly returned it. This foundation is infused with coconut water which is supposed to make it hydrating and long lasting, but instead it makes it slippery and slide all over your face! It oxidizes nearly instantly and within half an hour it's literally sliding off of your face. By the end of the day there is nothing left under my eyes or on my nose because it has moved and clumped on my face. I've tried it with five different primers on underneath and nothing can make this foundation stay. I'm sure it's great if you have skin on the drier side but do not even ATTEMPT to use this if you have even slightly oily skin! -

I've tried this foundation a few times and always love it when I first start a new bottle. It glides across the face to create a flawless, smooth finish. For the first hour or two my skin always looks airbrushed because of the amazing texture of this foundation. But I find that after a few hours it begins to oxidize on my face (turns it orange!), and that is NOT fun. I feel paranoid wearing this because I'm never sure if it's going to be a 10/10 or a 2/10. If my skin is super hydrated and has no acne it looks pretty good, but the second there is any uneven texture it looks awful. This is NOT a good foundation if you have oily, uneven skin. -

I'm relatively new to sleeping masks, but this one in particular has me hooked. Lots of sleeping masks make it uncomfortable to go to bed because I feel like it's clogging my pores and gives me dry and itchy patches, but this is the complete opposite. All you need is a thin layer and it feels like a very smooth, water based moisturizer. It dries down a considerable about but never feels like it's clogging pores and doesn't make your skin feel tight. It leaves no residue on your pillow at night, and you make up to smooth, hydrated skin. It's the easiest thing to put on your face and especially helpful if you find it difficult to have a good skin care routine! -

I literally have a DRAWER of face masks, and this stuff is always my go-to. I typically use it once every two weeks and there are instant results with it. What I love most about this product is that as a mud mask it dries down and actually gets darker around your problem areas (i.e. oily patches) so you can see exactly where your skin is suffering most. It pulls the excess oil out of your skin and replenishes it with moisture and firms up the skin. It leaves your face feeling plump, hydrated, and smooth. It visibly reduces the size of your pores INSTANTLY as well! I've used this on countless people with all different skin types and it has worked wonders on everyone. Seriously - you NEED this! -

If I was forced to only be able to pick one item to keep in my makeup bag, it would be this. It has everything that you need in order to make your brows look perfect every single time! It has an ultra think pencil that never loses it's precise end no matter how often you use it. Yes, it is a pricer product but you get what you pay for! Cheap drugstore brow products are often filled with wax and barely any pigment. The wax in them makes your brow unruly and difficult to shape, but I swear this is pure, effortless pigment. I often even use it as an eyeliner because it gives such a beautiful and natural finish! -

I used this eyeliner forever! It's so easy to use and the pen gives you the perfect flick to every wing you could ever make. If I use a primer and eye shadow this stuff will never budge, but if I miss one of those two steps it will be EVERYWHERE within an hour. I do have oily lids, but this is absurd. I've also found that it is not a true black finish and it actually has a small amount of shimmer/reflect in it, which is not what I want it a liquid liner! It makes my eyelids look more greasy than they already are. The nature of felt tip liquid liner is for it to try out, but this seems to dry faster than many others I've used before. The tip actually balls up towards the end and makes it impossible to use. There are better liquid liners out there than this! -

I actually used this as a foundation at first at the suggestion of a Sephora employee, I tried this product for about a month and was over it at the end. At first I was in love with it as it gave me a nice medium/full coverage and looked airbrushed. But I began noticing that by mid-day it was sliding off my face! I tried countless different primers with it and none of them held it in place. It also heavily oxidized on my face and turned orange and blotchy. I then tried it as a concealer and disliked it even more. It was so matte and drying that it settled in to every fine line, and don't even THINK about baking with this under your eyes! It just wasn't "it" for me.
What really annoys me about this product is the difference in the colouring between the "Born this Way Concealer" in "Vanilla" and the "Born this Way Foundation" also in the shade "Vanilla". The same line from the same brand should be a match, and as you can tell from the picture, it surely isn't. The concealer is on the left and foundation on the right.

I've been using this for about two years now and no matter what other concealers I try I always come back to this. The little pot contains so much product and you have precise control over how much you pick up because it's not in a tube like so many other concealers. I've always had dark under eye circles and this covers them without a problem every morning. In summer when I want a more minimal look I'll often use a small amount of this all over my face for a minimal coverage look, and I can easily build it to more as well. I always use this for a cut crease with my eye makeup as well! I find that many concealers are very high coverage and matte which dries into fine lines and makes me look fake, and I love that gives me the perfect coverage and it still looks like my skin! -
