I got laser eye surgery and now use these drops almost daily before bed for my dry eyes, as recommended by my eye doctor. A very small container of these drops costs a bit over $10 at Wal Mart, which is a bit pricey considering the size of the container- but it does last a very long time. The drops are fairly easy to put in but do makes my eyes blurry once applied. It feels like having Vaseline in my eye in terms of vision for about 15 minutes. Once I put these, though, my eyes feel moisturized and it gets rid of the itchy or contact lens feeling in my eye. I intend to keep using this brand. -

These can be found almost everywhere for a reasonable piece. They can be a bit more expensive than other brands but only because you are paying for better quality. These bags are easy open and close. I keep leftover chicken & meat in them and they stay fresh for a long time with minimal , if any, freezer burn. It also keeps food tasting fresh and flavourful. These are also great for using when travelling to put small items as they stay closed. Ziploc is the only brand I buy. These freezer bags are quite large in size. -

I was out shopping and got thirsty so I grabbed a 1L bottle from Bulk Barn for under $1. I took a sip and it tasted salty, almost like there were minerals and salt crystals in the water. I thought it was maybe because I was sick with a cold so I asked my sister and she thought the same thing. Some people are more sensitive to the taste of different waters, so although I could finish my bottle, I can imagine some wouldn’t be able to. For a more clean water taste, go with another brand. -

I bought this bar from Produce Depot for a bit under $2. I was surprised at first by the look of this bar. This bar is essentially made up of rice crisps held together with raisin paste and honey. The paste looks like dates but without the strong date flavour. There are chunks of half and full almonds spread throughout the bar. There are also chunks of raisin throughout, which add a nice natural sweetness. There are only six basic ingredients in this bar, which I like, as I can pronounce all of them and understand what they are. The bar is crunchy and chewy. There is a sweet honey taste to it. This bar is unique. It is sweet and wholesome at the same time. It feels like I'm eating dessert but also something healthy. This bar contains 7g of protein and 3g of fibre (12% daily recommended). -

I got a package of this from DAVIDs Tea on sale at a price of three packages for around $12. This is a caffeine-free tea, making it great for kids too. I've tried this both iced and it's delicious. It tastes like fruity and like summertimes, as it's a mix of citrus, berries, and tropical fruits. The main fruit tastes in this mix are raspberry, pineapple, and orange. The combined flavours remind me of those ice cream buckets I used to eat as child of rainbow sherbet, just as the name applies. There isn't a strong floral taste in this tea which I like as the floral tastes can sometimes upset my stomach. I'd have this again! -

Even though I don't use mine often, I can't imagine not having my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer to help with my cooking/baking needs. I have the black one but there are different colors to choose from depending on price point, as the colored ones tend to be more expensive. My mixer came with three attachments for mixing as well as a stainless steel bowl. I like to use mine to make bread and pasta-- it makes kneading so much easier. I also love to bake cakes, loaves, and muffins with it. I used to do baking for those in my neighborhood and I always relied on my mixer. The motor goes up from stirring to very fast mixing. The stainless steel bowl helps baking easier by keeping ingredients cold or hot, depending on what you put in it. I've had my mixing attachments for years and they still work as good as new, and the same thing applies for the stand mixer motor. I got mine for $200 on sale and it was the best $200 ever spent. -

I can often use the same piece to wrap my lunch sandwich for a few days. It does not rip or break apart easily. It is easy to take out of the package and I can easily take the exact amount I need. The foil is flexible and can be made to fit the shape of what you need to, such as if you need to use it to line something. -

This set can be found at Shopper's or Wal Mart for around $10 a bottle. I do wish they were slightly less expensive for the bottle size, but the quality can help to justify the price. The shampoo and conditioner smell delightfully like a trip to the tropics. This shampoo works wonders on normal hair. The conditioner is luxurious and creamy, without being overly thick. The downside is this pair isn't as great as others in the OGX series for curly dry hair. It leaves my hair feeling clean and soft but not as hydrated as I'm looking for. I also find the shampoo a bit more drying than some others in the series that focus more on damage and hydration.
As a side, I really like the Argan Oil or Morocco and the Sea Mineral Moisture for dry, frizzy hair.

I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that wouldn't be so harsh on my dry curly hair. I decided to give this a try after finding it on sale at my local Wal Mart. The fact that it has Argan oil was also appealing. The results were nothing less than disappointing. The shampoo dried out my hair completely and took almost a month to feel back to normal without some hint of dryness, no matter how or what I used to style it. The conditioner did not provide much moisture and only made my hair feel weighed down. My mom has very straight and fine hair, and the shampoo works fine for her. From my experience, I would not use this product for dry, frizzy hair. -

My hair is naturally curly and dry, so shampoo can really cause my hair to dry out and take weeks to get back to normal--- but not with this shampoo. This shampoo is not overly foamy so it doesn't take out all the natural oils in my hair, which is what causes it to become to dry. It protects my hair from styling without weighing it down and causing it to get all knotty. This shampoo can be a bit more expensive for a medium-sized bottle but since I don't have to shampoo daily, it works out. It works very well when followed with the conditioner of the same type. It costs about $10 for a bottle of almost 400 mL. -
