I bought a box of these on sale at Loblaws for $2.99, after reading great reviews about them on here. Each pack comes with five individually wrapped packages, with two bars per wrapper. Each pack containing two bars is 170 calories. Each bar has a line down the centre, so it can be easily broken into two thin bars (for a total of four thin bars per pack). It is a great breakfast, snack, or lunch idea. The bars are crunchy. They are made with whole grain oats and a whole grain blend, containing quinoa, barley, and buckwheat. These are great for those who are looking for a wholesome tasting bar, rather than a sweet one. The taste of the grains comes through with only a mild sweetness from the chocolate chips. There is also a mild saltiness at play, which works great with the taste of the mini chocolate chips. I plan on stocking up next time I see a sale. I prefer the Kashi Honey Oat Flax flavour ever so mildly to this one because of it's stronger sweet and salty contrast. -

I bought a box of these from Wal Mart for around $4. The box came with 10 bars, with two bars per wrapper. Every two bars is 170 calories and contains fibre, iron, and magnesium. Each bar has a line along the middle, allowing it to be easily cut into two thin long rectangles. The bars are made from whole grain oats and a blend of wholesome grains, such as barley, buckwheat, and quinoa. The taste of the grains comes through a lot. The bars are crunchy with a firm texture. They have a wholesome nutty grain taste with a mild sweetness. They taste healthy and hearty, while also giving a sweet and salty flavour combination that keeps me wanting more. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. They are one of my favourite bars I've ever tried. -

I bought a box of these from Wal Mart for $1.99 on sale. They usually sell for around $3. The box contains five individually wrapped granola bars. Each bar is 100 calories. They contain fibre and iron. The bar is made of a granola mix, containing rolled oats, honey, crisps, and quinoa. The bar also contains a fair bit of chocolate chips. It is soft and chewy, with a unique crunch from the crisps. The bar has a mild brown sugar and chocolatey flavour without being very sweet. It is a wholesome tasting bar. The chocolate chips give a nice sweetness to the wholesome bar. I've tried the Oats & Honey bar of this brand and much prefer this one. This bar is great for people who don't like overly sweet granola bars but it's also good for those with a sweet tooth. I plan to buy it again and again. -

I got a pack of these cookies from Dollar Tree for $1.25. Each portion is four cookies for 150 calories. .Each pack contains approx. 4 portions of cookies. These are elegant looking cookies, as they are long golden brown cookies with Lotus written on the front in cursive and a trim border. The cookies are crispy and crunchy. They also melt in your mouth once you take a bite. They have a tea biscuit feel with a unique caramelized twist in the taste. These would be great dipped in tea and are also eaten alone. I expected a sweeter taste but did not get this. They are only mildly sweet due to the camelization, but I do wish they were sweeter. -

The yogurt itself is rich and creamy. It has a mildly thicker consistency, even though it is not a Greek yogurt. It has a very natural milky blueberry taste, which reminds me of fresh blueberries being mixed into delicious vanilla yogurt. There are pieces of real blueberries throughout the yogurt. This yogurt tastes as if it only gets its sweetness from the natural berries themselves. I got a large pack of mixed flavoured Danone Activia yogurt, including blueberry, from Costco for a great price. Each container is 100 calories. This a probiotic yogurt, so it's great for the stomach. Each container contains a fair amount of nutrients that are not typically available in many yogurts, such as Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Magnesium, and Phosphorus. I'd buy this again and look forward to trying the other flavours. -

What I love about Miss Vickie's chips is the crunch that comes from them being kettle cooked. They are harder and crunchier than regular chips. As with most Miss Vickie's flavored chips, I expected this to have a strong and distinct flavour. I was disappointed, however, as the flavouring on these chips was very mild and reminded me of Original chips with a hint of spice. I did not taste any sour cream or sweetness of the chili, only an ever so mild chili pepper spiciness. This is the first flavour of chips in this brand that i was disappointed about. It's not that the chips themselves are bad, I just don't think they taste like they are labelled. This is good for those who are looking for Original chips with a tiny extra quick of flavour.

My sister bought a 650g jar of this spread from Wal Mart for $6.27 , which is quite steep. I have rarely see it go on sale, and even when I have, it still costs about $5 a jar. With that said, this is a good treat for once in a while, especially if you're a chocolate and peanut butter fan. The taste of the peanut butter and chocolate both come through equally, complementing rather than competing with one another. This tastes delicious eaten from the jar, spooned onto a banana, or spread onto bread to make a delicious sandwich. It tastes best spread on a warm slice of bread, allowing the spread to gently melt and enhance the flavour of both the peanut butter and chocolate. I'd buy this again as a treat, just wish it was a bit less expensive. -

You can get a box with five bars for around $4 at Wal Mart. Each bar is 170 calories and contains 10 grams of protein. The bar is made up of trail mix on top, consisting of full cranberries, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and peanuts. The bottom is dipped in a creamy smooth chocolate coating. I was surprised by how fresh the bars were. The syrup holding the trail mix together could be seen stretching like a light caramel thanks to the freshness. The bar is soft, chewy, and crunchy. It is only mildly sweet thanks to the natural sweetness of the cranberries. The chocolate on the bottom brings a nice twist to the nutty taste of the bar, but isn't overly sweet. The primary taste in the bar is a natural nuttiness. The bar also contains a fair amount of fibre with 4 grams (16% daily recommended); calcium (15%); iron (10%); and magnesium (10%). This tastes like a healthy trail mix bar, so if you don't like anything too sweet and love nuts, you'll love this. I'd buy it again. -

I bought a box of this oatmeal for $2.99 at Loblaws. Each box comes with 10 small packs of oatmeal, which is enough for one bowl. All you need to do is add a bit of boiling water and stir. The pack contains rolled oats and little pieces of dehydrated "peaches." The oatmeal tastes sweet and creamy to give that peaches and cream vibe. This is truly one of my favourite oatmeal flavours, and, in this flavour, I prefer the President's Choice brand to Quaker. This also tastes delicious used in my own version of overnight oats where I mix prepared oatmeal with a container of Greek yogurt and leave it in the fridge overnight. Tastes delicious mixed with vanilla yogurt and it further enhances the cream taste. This contains a healthy amount of fibre too. -
