I buy a pack of these from Wal Mart for around $3. Each pack comes with 10 roti breads and is resealable, which is great to keep the product fresh. The bread is a thin and crispy flatbread. There is a mild crunch in every bite. I like that you can see the grill/oven marks on the bread. It's great to use for sandwiches or wraps. Personally, I especially like mine with peanut butter. In the front of the package, they also give the option to warm the roti up in the oven or microwave for a fresher feel. Each roti is 130 calories. This is a vegetarian product for those who don't each meat. I will continue to use this product; it's delicious. It is also available in whole wheat. -

I bought a pack of this oatmeal at a sale price of 2 for $5 from Loblaws. I have rarely seen this flavour before, as it is not as readily available as many other flavours. Each box comes with 10 individual packs of oatmeal, which are easy to grab and bring to work (as long as you'll have boiled water or a microwave available).
The oatmeal texture is thick and creamy. The cinnamon and brown sugar flavours come through in a way that allows the oatmeal to taste sweet but not too sweet that it's hard to eat first thing in the morning. This is a delicious and nutritious addition to breakfast. I usually like to eat it with yogurt and a fruit, for a well-rounded breakfast. Each pack contains 30 per cent of daily recommended fibre. It is made using whole grain oats. I'd buy this flavour again.

I bought a pack of these from Loblaws for around $3. It is a new flavour in Oreo Thins, so I wanted to give it a try. The pack comes with an easy to open and close flap, which makes it great for keeping them fresh. The portion is four cookies for 150 calories, making them a great snack. These have a thin crunchy Golden Oreo exterior with a salted caramel creme filling. The Golden Oreo Thin tastes like a mildly sweet vanilla cookie. The ratio of creme and cookie is more balanced than in a regular Oreo cookie, in my opinion. The cookies are crispy and crunchy. The sweet caramel flavour comes through nicely, which I enjoyed. I could not taste any of the "salted," which was truly disappointing since I enjoy the sweet and salt combination. I would call these Caramel Creme to avoid the disappointment with the major lack of any salted flavour. -

I got a bag of these on sale for $1 last summer at Loblaws. I have never seen this cheap price again, as they usually retail for around $4 for a medium-sized bag. I usually share a "Take Home Size" bag with two other people as an after-dinner snack. Each portion (1/4 cup) is 180 calories, which is lighter than a lot of other chocolates.
These candies are made up of the traditional crunchy M&M;'s candy shell, underneath is rich milk chocolate, and on the inside is a unique crispy centre. The centre is a play on a crispy cereal. The taste reminds me of a Corn Pop with the added light taste of malt. They still come in the various coloured candy shells. Most of the candies are fairly similar in size. They are not as large as M&M;'s Peanuts. They are easy to eat and feel easy on the stomach.

I got this peanut butter from Food Basics for $3.99, on sale, for a 1kg jar. This brand can also be found at Metro. The light variety can be easily recognized by it's signature light blue lid. The peanut butter is very creamy- one of the creamiest I have tried so far, and I've tried quite a few. This is a sweetened peanut butter but it does not taste sweetened to me. The pronounced taste of the peanuts come through in a luxurious creamy manner. It does not leave a weird oily or buttery feel in my mouth like Kraft peanut butter does. This peanut butter has 25 per cent less fat than regular Selection smooth peanut butter and contains only 80 calories per tablespoon. It is easy to spread on sandwiches or to eat with a spoon by the dollop. I like to make a peanut butter sandwich using roti bread. While No Name Light Smooth peanut butter is also delicious, I do prefer this one. -

I bought a pack of these from Costco for under $10, which included 12 morning rounds. The rounds are quite large- about the size of my hand. Each round is 200 calories. They are essentially soft bread rounds filled with pieces of apple and raisin. The texture is soft and chewy. They have a natural sweetness from the fruit in the bread. I also like the cinnamon taste that is present in the bread. I put these in the freezer and left some out to defrost on the counter when I was ready to eat them, and they were a bit hard. This makes me question how well they freeze and unfreeze. The bread got quite a bit softer once I put it in the toaster for a little while, and the toasting also gave it a freshly baked feel. These are great for breakfast or lunch. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. -

I bought this bar from Sobey's for a bit under $2. I like that it only contains minimal and simple ingredients: honey, rolled oats, peanut butter, peanuts, crisp rice, and cocoa liquor. The main tastes are that of honey and peanuts. The chocolate taste comes only as a mild undertone to the honey and nuts. This is great for people who love the simple taste of honey and nuts. The bar is chewy, crispy, and crunchy. The crisp rice adds a nice crispiness and bounce to the bar. The full peanuts, which are plenty, add a nice crunch. The saltiness of the nuts balances the sweet from the nuts. -

I bought a pack of these for $3.99 on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart a while back. Each box comes with 10 granola bars, with two bars per individually packed pouch for a total of five pouches. They are convenient and easy to grab on the go. I like having these as part of breakfast or lunch. The bars taste like macadamia nut cookies only in granola bar form. The bars are crumbly and crispy. They can be a bit messy, so I just putting something underneath while you eat them. They are made primarily of rolled oats, so they have a nice wholesome flavour. There are melty white chocolate chips throughout the bar. Each pouch has 3 grams of protein. These are sweet but not overly so. I plan to buy them again. -

I bought these chocolate bars at a price of two for $1 from Dollarama. They reminded me of Kit Kat Chunky bars, only cheeper, so I decided to give it a try and see how it compared. These bars are comparable to Kit Kat Chunky in terms of quality and taste profile. There are two layers of chocolate, almost like the bar has been double dipped. It is dipped in a delicious milk chocolate. The inside wafer tastes just like the crispy delicate wafer of a Kit Kat, filled with a soft cream inside. The cream layering the wafer has a hazelnut taste, similar to Nutella, only less sweet. I would eat these instead of a Kit Kat Chunky. Each bar is about 210 calories. -

My sister got this from Wal Mart for around $10. It is a pack that comes with 28 nails, so it can be used several times. She’s only a pre-teen and she found the nails easy to use and put on. The nails looked amazing on her and didn't have a fake look. They fit her fingers perfectly. If I didn't know, I would have believed she went to the salon to get them professionally done- not did them herself. They stuck on fairly well, even when she slept, and didn't bother her much at all. After a few days, the thumb nails fell off, but she's also young and still goes to the park with her friends. These cannot be left on for a prolonged period of time, so it's important to take note of that. After seeing the nails on her, I went to buy myself a pack. They look so feminine. They also aren't really long so although it's a bit more difficult to type on the keyboard, with time you get used to it. -
