As a member of the Product Review Club, I received a free sample of pHisoderm Daily Facial Cleanser for Dry - Normal Skin. I am a creature of habit and it's not easy changing my face cleansing routine but I've been using this product for the past week and I like it a lot. It's rich, creamy, almost non-irritating and has a mild inoffensive fragrance. Fortunately, the fragrance has come a long way from the medicinal smelling pHisoderm cleanser I used as a teen. Except for my eye make-up, it does a great job of cleaning my face. I also like the pump dispenser.
Unfortunately, this product doesn't do an effective job of removing my eye make-up, particularly my mascara and eyeliner. It also stung when I got it in my eyes. I've been spoiled by Cetaphil cleanser which does a great job of removing my eye make-up without stinging my eyes. I do like the consistency of the pHisoderm Daily Facial Cleanser better though. As for whether or not I will continue using it once my sample bottle is finished, the verdict is still out. It's much easier using one product than two and my regular routine seems to do double-duty.

I've been using pHisoderm Body Wash in Aloe, Vitamin E & Chamomile for about a week now. I really like the fresh and not-overpowering smell. It's light and I feel clean all over after using it in the shower. My skin feels soft without any signs of dryness or other irritations. I have sensitive skin so those qualities are a real plus. Compared to other body washes, it seems like great value for the price.
What I don't like about this product is the consistency. It reminds me somewhat of baby shampoo. It's a bit too runny and it doesn't lather as much as I'd like. On the other hand, the lack of lather is probably a good sign and means there are less artificial ingredients.

The taste-testing trio thoroughly and unanimously approved of Nestle Noir Eclat Noir. In particular, they loved the chocolate bits. IMHO, if you want to introduce immature palettes to the pleasures of dark chocolate, this is good place to start.
They liked the texture (smooth with little bits of chocolate surprises) and the taste. I will definitely be buying more for them. They made me promise.

I offered my three taste testers the option to use this member of the Nestle Noir collection as an ingredient for chocolate chip cookies. They declined and opted to eat it plain. Despite it's intense chocolate name, it smells rather sweet to me compared to other dark chocolate bars (except for the cheaper drug store varieties). It was the only one from the Nestle Noir collection that wasn't finished in one sitting - there's still a piece lingering in my kitchen cupboard.
In all fairness, my taste-testing panel are not known for their sophisticated palettes when it comes to dark chocolate. I'm amazed at how well much they liked the other bars in the Nestle Noir collection. Part of the appeal were the bits of surprises in the other bars.
As for me, I really liked the smell and texture of Nestle Noir Intense and I'm going to try it in chocolate chip cookies and bark as soon as I'm able to indulge in my favorite food group once again.

I'm on NutriSystem so I've been spreading the Nestle Noir love around. I shared this with my husband and sons. I was curious to see their reactions because all of them prefer milk chocolate. I was pleasantly surprised. Each one of them enjoyed this rich, dark chocolate bar with caramel crisps. In fact, they fought over it and I had to promise to buy them more. -

I'm on NutriSystem so I've been spreading the Nestle Noir love around. I shared this with my co-workers at a team meeting. I got to watch six other women enjoy the Nestle Noir Cherry bar. Everyone loved the dark chocolate mixed with dried cherries. I was expecting at least one dissenter because her husband travels to Switzerland and is always brining home exquisite Swiss chocolate. Guess what? She truly enjoyed this chocolate, cherry treat. Guess I'll have to wait until I reach my goal weight first but this is on my list of one of the treats to try - in moderation, of course. ;) -

Just north of Lawrence on either Yonge St. or Avenue Rd., there are a slew of nail salons but Cozy Nails stands out from the rest. It's a full-service salon know primarily for it's awesome manicures and pedicures. From the friendly greeting at the entrance, to the warm cozy service including complimentary smoothies, gourmet coffees and teas, and massage chairs for pedicure patrons, I can't recommend it enough. They offer a wide selection of nail colours from OPI and Essie and facials with Demalogica and Yon Ka skin care products. I've had manicures and pedicures at several higher-end salons and honestly, the services are just as good if not better here. Go it alone or with a group of friends, you'll enjoy the experience either way. About six months ago, I started bringing my friends. They live all over the city and liked it so much, they keep coming back even on cold winter nights. Just one bit of caution. Cozy Nails is always packed so you'll need to book your appointment in advance, I suggest at least a week ahead for individuals and longer if possible for groups.
Note: the manicure-pedicure combo is $40, prices range depending on the service. Check their website for the price list.

I lusted after this baby for a long time. I really needed a laptop but the desktops offer so much value for the money. I finally bit the bullet. I'm still learning the new features in Leopard and I haven't used the MacBook much yet but I wouldn't trade it for anything - except possibly a MacBook Pro.
As for Miss Chickie's comments about the dirt factor, a friend of mine was using his outside an Apple store. A sales rep. stopped him and offered to replace the outer case and cleaned it up for him. Can't beat that service. Miss Chickie, you may want to hang outside an Apple store and see what happens. ; )

I love scuba hoodie but it's a bit too expensive for my budget. The colour selection is always extensive with something for everyone's tastes. Maybe one day it will make it to the sale rack. ; )

Who care's about the luon controversy. These headbands are a bargain! You have to check the stores often for new colours - the good ones go quickly.
