l received Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in the shade Intense Berry (65) to try for free via Butterly.
This cheek tint is advertised as “A skin-fusing liquid blush that creates a just-pinched healthy cheeks finish.”
I found the cheek tint formula to be lightweight and blendable, buildable and long wearing.
Once l had applied it to my cheeks, l also tried it on my lips, and then applied Giorgio Armani Beauty Prisma Glass Lip Gloss in the shade Transparent as a topcoat l, and was pleased with the result. I like a cosmetic product that has some versatility like that. Note, however, that the package advises not to apply the tint on eyes.
Intense Berry is the darkest of the 6 available tint shades. It also comes in a couple of corals, a pink, a red and another plum called Delicate Mauve (62) that l would like to try.

I received YSL Loveshine lip oil stick in two shades, 150 Nude Lingerie and 44 Nude Lavalliere, for free to review via Butterly. Both are subtle, semi-transparent light nude pink tones. 150 is a more true pink/neutral and 44 is a bit warmer from my perspective. It has a bit more terra cotta undertone. I tend to go for cool or neutral pinks, so of the two, 150 is my preferred. I also tried blending them and liked the result.
This lip oil is a nice formula, lightweight and pleasant to use and wear. My lips tend to be dry so a hydrating lip oil stick formula is welcome. I like that it’s buildable so you can adjust the level of shine and colour. This YSL lip oil would also be a nice for wearing over some lipsticks for added shine or to change up colours.

Product review. I received Colgate Total Clean Mint Toothpaste, 120 ml, free from the company via Butterly.
Colgate is the toothpaste brand that our family uses the most, but l had not yet tried Colgate Total with 12 hour antibacterial protection. This mint toothpaste left my mouth feeling clean and my breath refreshed.
I also like that the packaging is recyclable.
Colgate Total Clean Mint Toothpaste is a product that l will buy and use regularly.

I received a free sample size Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Shu Uemera via Butterly/Chick Advisor. I like to use oil cleansers for removing foundation makeup or sunscreen from my face. This cleansing oil is made from a combination of botanical oils that is light and pleasant feeling on the skin. It has mostly botanical ingredients but does include parfum, so anyone with sensitivities there should consider that. It is not an inexpensive product, but you don’t need to use a lot each time for it to be effective. -

Pros: l like the sliceable, 2 litre, block style ice cream, and the way the maple leave design is embedded. And that it’s peanut/nut free, gluten free and made with natural flavours/colours, so l wouldn’t worry about serving it to people with those allergies or concerns.
Cons: The ice cream wasn’t as creamy as expected. The bits weren’t crunchy. And the maple flavour is so mild that it’s barely detectable. Too much maple would be sickly, but this could really use more. So, kick up the maple, Chapman’s, please. Just be sure to still use real maple, not artificial flavour.
Conclusion: This would be a nice accompaniment to something like apple pie or spice cake. On its own it’s a bit dull. But has lots of potential. If Chapman improved the creaminess and boosted the level of maple, I’d love it.

A few things caught my attention before l opened the free sample package of Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream. First, l was happy to see the leaping bunny logo, indicating that Cover Girl didn’t use animal testing for the product. It is also vegan, which many people will like to see. And I read the ingredients.
Things l liked about the cream: The texture is very nice, light and oil free. It feels pleasant, even expensive.
But there is too much parfum/fragrance in this cream for my liking. And it really lingers. It would be better if the fragrance matched the texture — ie if it was very light. Or even unscented, no fragrance. And I wonder why Blue No. 1 is in it. Does it really need dye?
So l like the texture and would recommend the product to anyone who isn’t at all particular about the level of fragrance in a skincare product.

I picked these biscotti up at Homesense not realizing they are gluten free. But it turns out they’re actually really good!! And also corn free, soy free and and dairy free if you’re looking for that. From Tutti Gourmet company out of Quebec. Good crunch, texture and flavour, handmade. Would get these orange and dark chocolate ones again and try other flavours of the biscotti and recommend to anyone with those food sensitivities. -

I eat a lot of popcorn, at the movies or at home anytime. Never the microwave stuff, which I’m not fond of at all. 99% of the time it’s Orville Redenbocker original popped on top of my stove in a pot. I like it with just salt. Or with a little salt and sugar. Or with dried dill and salt. My go to snack product. My cupboards are never without it. Hope it’s around for a long time. -

Popcorn is my go to snack but I usually do it myself, the regular on top of the stove in a pot popped kind and never the microwave varieties which I don’t much like so far. I’ve had Skinny Pop a few times and quite like it - more than I expected. Would buy it again occasionally for convenience. -
