I was sent the blue version to try, along with the got2be be lightened bleach. My hair is naturally very dark and I was not expecting at home box dye to work very well. However, working jointly with the bleach, my hair pigment was able to lift and I was able to use the blue hair dye over it. The process of dying my hair was pretty simple, and is standard if you have any experience with box dye. The great thing about this is that because it is semi-permanent, you can try different colours throughout before doing a full permanent treatment at the salon. -

Every year the Toronto Christmas Market comes back at the Distillery District. Although it doesn't compare to any of the Christmas markets in Europe, it's still an iconic place where many visit during the holidays! The prices are a little bit higher at the booths, but you get some real gems and local artists, so you can feel good about supporting locally too!
Note: Mon - Thurs admission is free, but Fri (after 5pm) and weekends have an entry fee of $6 (as of 2017). Express tickets can also be bought for $20 so you don't have to wait in line (I did this in 2017 as in 2016 I waited almost 2 hours in the freezing cold to get in!)

I have been using this for a while and while it does work in helping acne calm down and fade, it takes some REAL dedication and an extended period of time. I had been using this intermittently with another acne fading one depending on how dry my skin feels (this is better when skin feels dry as it is a creamier base).
Although it does work (slowly), I'm not sure i would buy it again just because i feel like there are other products in the market that work faster.

I am actually eating these as I type this review out! I love this variety of Terra's, especially when I'm craving something slightly more on the sweeter side. I also like the different textures each type of veggie chip gives (some more crunchy and harder than others) which provides a texture appeal for me to "play" and explore with.
However, at half the gram size but almost double the price of conventional bags, they are a bit on the expensive side.

I've always been a big fan of Terra's chips. The Mediterranean variety gives it a salty and slightly sweet "zing" to the chips which makes you craving for more!
However, at half the gram size per bag but almost double the price of conventional bags, they are a bit on the expensive side.

This was a nice surprise I wasn't expecting. It's always hard to say what a brand ambassador's "scent" or "flavour" is, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a vanilla scent - something that is more widely accepted. I do like vanilla and the product works as it is supposed to. Unfortunately this was a limited time release for a year, and I have not been able to find the scent anymore. I do wish Batiste brought back the scent even if not with Ella. -

Although I'm usually not the biggest fan of floral scented things, this floral dry shampoo was not a bad floral scent. It was strong but not too strong and I could imagine it would do the scalp better than not after a day of no wash :)
It works as it says it would but I would suggest not putting it so close to your head/ roots as sometimes the white powder may be a bit stubborn and hard to brush out.

Batiste as a brand - nothing to complain about. I am always on the hunt to see if I can find new dry shampoo brands and scents I like and batiste is one of those affordable ones that I can try on a more regular basis. I've tried some of their other ones (ie. original, floral) and decided to give this one a try as well. However, the scent is quite overwhelming with a "fake hairspray" scent and I really did not enjoy it. I will finish the bottle since thankfully the scent doesn't linger too much, but would not repurchase this particular one. -

My sister picked this up in Japan, but I believe you can get this on various online websites as well (ie. Amazon). I've used this for about 2 months now and I do like the eyeliner. However, with that being said, I don't think I would say this is the BEST eyeliner on the market. This eyeliner has a fine tip and applies smoothly. However, I find that after I apply one of my eyes, it almost feels like there isnt enough ink to apply my second eye and my second eye becomes a really sad "rolled out of bed" look. This is also me only applying a small amount on the first eye so if you like a thicker liner, you might even run out while doing your first eye. The challenge I find with this is there is no "twist" at the end to release more ink if needed so I have just been putting this on my counter upright so the ink "flows" to the bottom every night, and I will have pooled enough ink by the morning. This is rather inconvenient if you like to carry your liner around (no "pooling" prep can be done) or you forget and leave it laying down for the night. Staying power is okay and it doesnt smear, but by the end of the day you can tell it's definitely faded. -

Prior to this variety, I had tried the Harvest Snap Snap Peas (enjoyed) and the Black Bean Lentil Habanero variety (enjoyed less). I was intrigued to try this flavour to give the black bean variety another chance and I am really glad I did! While the Habanero gave me a just mouthful of spice, this variety gave me both sweet and a kick of spicy which I really liked. The mix of flavours was unique and addicting and I found myself reaching for more. While I love the amount of fibre they pack, the amount that comes per bag is a lot less than if you went with your conventional bag of lays or doritos (3-4 times less), so if you want to eat these often they might add up on your monthly grocery bill! -
