I've never been great at cooking rice. Now I don't have to be! I was a bit skeptical about trying it because some packaged products have an odd taste about them. This is definitely not the case for Uncle Ben's Bistro Express rice. I have tasted the jasmine and basmati rice and both are delicious. I just heated it up in a frying pan with a little water and the grains were just the right consistency. My only complaint is that there could be a little more in the package. It just is a little less than 2 portions, especially if you use them as a base for stir fry which is what I often do. -

NYC Red Flame lipstick offers that amazing pop of lip colour that makes a statement. What goes great with that little black dress? A great lip colour like this one. I liked how is went on smooth and not greasy or creamy, acting more like a lip stain, allowing for a gloss to go on top. It works well as a base, not requiring a lip liner. I did however breakout along my lower lip; it was the only new product I was using so I'm pretty sure something in the lipstick caused it. My skin is ultra-sensitive and often reacts to lipstick, so I wouldn't expect this to be the reaction for those with normal skin. -

Like all cat guardians, I try to eliminate litter box odor as much as possible. Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal cat litter is the best I have ever used. I made sure to empty and clean out my litter box before starting using it; that was a bit costly as it took a few boxes to get started again, but from then on, the only odor has been of baking soda. It is easy to scoop and though sometimes clumps break, they never crumble apart and mess up the litter box like with many other clumping cat litters. I would definitely recommend it. Though it is a bit more expensive compared to regular clumping cat litters, if you don't want the smell or messy litter box, it's worth it. -

Garnier Beach Chic texturizing spray is my favourite new hair product for 2014. It gives great loose waves to hair. Though I have long hair, it would work just as great on short hair as it creates great texture and adds a wavy style to my bangs. As well it gives a fullness that I thought I could not get without blow drying my hair.
I must admit, there are days I don't want to do my hair and Garnier beach chic makes that possible. Towel dry hair, spray, scrunch a little and go. Easy peasy. The way my hair looks when I use it really suits my boho style. Even though it is easy, it is still stylish enough to go out for the evening.
