After baby #1 I had a bad case of diastasis recti (abdominal separation – mommy tummy). Now after baby #2 I have a severe case of diastasis recti. My physiotherapists suggested this product, by Bellies Inc, to help in correcting the issue. Ideally, this is something that you would want to purchase before you deliver and wear/use the first 8 weeks post-partum. I started wearing it 10 weeks post-partum, have used it now for a full 8 weeks. With the complete system you get an Ab wrap, 2 tanks, a garment bag, and an exercise program that works on pelvic floor. You are spending around $200, which includes shipping. I have seen results, it does help me feel secure and in less pain throughout the day. You are expected to wear this all day long, including when you sleep. I only take it off to shower.
My overall thoughts. 1) The tanks are designed for nursing. I am unfortunately unable to breast-feed, I would have liked to purchase a non-nursing tank. It is annoying to have straps that go off to the side and an open chest since I have no need for that.
2) I feel that the velcro seams at the back are not sturdy enough. I have emailed the owners of Bellies Inc and they say that they are working on fixing this issue.
3) The tanks are dry-fit, but it is still very hot wearing it (especially when running after a 3 year old outside in the summer!) and it doesn't help with the sliding of the wrap. I have it on the tightest position and the bands overlap and I still have constant shifting. A cotton blend tank helps with this, which I often do wear underneath instead of the tanks provided. However, the owners told me that the tank is ideally designed for the first 8 weeks of healing and heat aids in that.
4) I love the videos and find the exercises really helpful. It's nice to finally see an exercise video that is not gimmicky and to have exercises that are very doable and do not take that long. I do them with my 3 year old and often right beside my 4 month old;).
Is it worth purchasing, definitely! I am months away from being “healed” but I do honestly believe that this is aiding in my recovery. I will be wearing it longer than the 8 weeks recommended (not to sure how much longer- my physiotherapists will let me know). It is not comfortable at all, and I have not gotten used to it. It is really annoying and hot to wear. But I am willing to do whatever it takes to not have surgery to correct this.

I don’t need a lot of condition so it was great for me, but it did leave my hair tangled and hard to comb through straight out of the shower. For the $4-$5 that you will spend on it, it is worth buying. -

I received this baby wash as a gift, I personally have always used Johnson's products but decided since it was given to me I might as well use it. It smells really nice and has all natural ingredients. I have been using the same bottle every day for the past 13 weeks. I use 4-5 pumps each time and there is still a little bit left in the bottle. It says it's good for over 300 pumps, I've already surpassed that. It is $9.99 a bottle, which is a pretty good price for how much you get and the ingredients in it. My one real knock on this is the fact that it is not a tear-free formula. I have never really run into any issues and some did get into my son's eye. It was red for a while but he never cried. I've used this since he was 1 week old. -

I received this product for free, as a tester. It has a pleasant scent, it goes on smooth and dries pretty quick. I have been using it for 4 weeks, 2x a day and still have about half the bottle left. I have been using it on my stomach, lower back, and thighs. I recently had my second child and have a lot of stretch marks from both pregnancies. I have noticed the most improvement on the more recent ones, they are slightly lighter in colour. Based on price, and overall results I would recommend it but not sold on buying it myself. However, I do like it better than Bio oil and Mederma. -

One of the best sites to purchase products online! Great prices, great sales, great variety of products, and great customer service. Products are delivered very quickly (within 3 days) and free shipping (when you order a certain amount). I have needed to return products twice because the wrong product was sent. I was told to keep the products I wanted to return both times and given a coupon for my next order. -
OMG, absolutely delicious!! I too received these as a sample on Well.ca. They are smooth, creamy, taste of high quality and so heavenly.

It is a very different flavour. I have not used it long enough to see any of the benefits, but I do drink it for the benefits it claims to have. I find that it has a nice mellow flavour if you let it steep for 1-2 hours instead of 5 minutes. If it doesn't steep long enough it is very bitter. It is much better tasting as an iced tea than hot beverage. -

I received this product for free to test. It states that the cream goes on sheer, which it really does. It feels nice on the hands to apply, unlike many other thick, messy diaper rash creams. It seems reasonably priced. I have been using it for 2 weeks, only applying it after bath and a poop. I can't really comment on the effectiveness. My son is only 9 weeks old and has not had a diaper rash yet. However, I can say that it has not caused any irritation. Since I cannot truly judge it's overall effectiveness, I have given it an average rating. -

I received this product for free to test. It says that it reduces the look of dark circles and puffiness. It's not a miracle cream, but based on price it's pretty good. I have a 9 week old son and a 3 year old son, so I'm pretty busy and under slept. I do feel like this eye cream helps me look more refreshed than I am. After two weeks of use, 2x a day, I still have cream left in the bottle. I plan on purchasing some when I am out. -
