It's the blackest black, goes on smoothly, lasts all day (I've worn it to sleep and woken up with it still looking great) and I have worn it twice now for 24hours (two very long wedding days) and it really does last that long. It applies matte and fully opaque in one swipe. Plus you get a flat liner brush with it. Texture of the liner in the pod will stay the same as long as you close the lid properly. Worth every penny -

If I lost all my makeup and had to start my collection over, this shadow would be on my top 10 list of items to buy. It has such beautiful shine, color and pigment. I find it applies best with your fingers but there could be some fallout so I would suggest applying foundation after and maybe using tape to pick up excess fallout. While it isn't an everyday shadow for me, it is what I reach for most for special occasions when I want my eyes to stand out.
Also for any girls out there who wear south asian clothing that have silver or gold design work, I feel this shadow compliments both looks. I've had a wedding where I wore gold in the day and silver in the evening and since I didn't have time to re-do my makeup, this was the perfect shade to match both my outfits.
It is pricey but I think it is worth it (maybe try to find a sale or coupon) hence why I docked one star for it. Packaging wise it comes in a nice little pod and it contains a grey plastic "stopper" of sorts which presses down any loose pigment that may have broken away while using. Do NOT throw that plastic stopper out.

The color I used is Blacktrack. I must be one a few people who really disliked this gel liner. I gave it a go a few times but in the end it just doesn't cut it for me. It goes on smooth but I needed to go over my liner a few times to get it as dark as I want it. I also feel that after 2-3 hours, it begins to fade and crumble which is a total no-no for me. In terms of finish, it is matte which is what I prefer. Price-wise, I think that it is not worth what you get (unless an almost black liner is what you like). I think the L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Lacquer Gel Liner is a much better buy ($10.96 CAD vs $20 for the Fluidline) plus you get a flat liner brush with L'Oreal too. It's the blackest black, goes on smoothly, lasts all day (I've worn it to sleep and woken up with it still looking great) and I have worn it twice now for 24hours (two very long wedding days) and it really does last that long. -

I finally gave into the hype and decided to try this top coat out and I totally get it. It leaves a strong, shiny top which does smooth out your color nail polish while of course drying it down quickly. One thing I do have to say though is that I would not have gotten the full mileage out of my bottle if I hadn't bought the Seche Restore thinning drops. After a couple uses, Seche Vite starts to get thick and so you need to drop in 2-3 drops to get it to its normal consistency again. This might be a no-no for some so be warned. Personally I also use the Seche Restore to fix any of my other polishes that have thickened. -

I received this from Sephora as a birthday gift and it is one of the lipsticks I reach for when I'm looking to add an easy wash of color. It can easily go on as a bold red lip color but what I love about it is that I can also wear a light coat. Additionally, as it fades during the day, it leaves a slight stain which I love. The price is on the higher end in terms of lipsticks but I think if you're looking for a classic red lipstick, this is worth that investment.
I do hope that they decide to make these twist up pencils because I hate the wasted product when sharpening.

Essie's polishes are a hit and miss for me. I believe you definitely have to do some research before buying a color. For example, Turquoise & Caicos is a beautiful color but the formula is so runny and doesn't even reach full opacity after 3 generous coats. But then a color like Lion Around or French Affair apply like a dream! Nails look smooth and opaque in two coats. Their "luxe effect" glitters are some of my favourite glitter polishes.
In terms of staying power, a good top coat is key. Seche Vite or Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Invisible have worked well for me.
I also feel like they are overly priced so definitely look out for a sale...unless you absolutely need a color (we've all been there ladies)

I then tried to remove some scuffs on my walls caused by running my blinds up and down or other random marks and it also removed those. However, it did require some scrubbing.
The sponge itself is a little fragile after rubbing the same area for a while. You'll see little pieces come off. One thing that I did notice was that any dirt on the sponge easily came off once you ran it under water again. So you could use it a couple of times before it becomes unusable. I find it a little pricey for a sponge but there are always sales, coupons or multi-packs to take advantage of.

I use this now to wash my makeup brushes (synthetic) and it works wonderfully. As a shampoo, it lathers up quite quickly but I can't help but want more a de-tangling property in it. Hence why it is not my go-to shampoo.

Can't go wrong with these. There's a wide range of colors and they're extremely affordable (especially if you purchase them during their $1 sale). I have about 5 pairs which I can easily throw in a beach bag or wear on a casual day out.
