I received a box of this pasta for free as part of the Product Review Club. While I tend to enjoy whole wheat, healthier-tasting pasta, my husband and kids are generally less enthusiastic. I used this box to make a buffalo chicken pasta salad. . . so the picky 4-year-old wouldn't try it. The baby, who likes spicy things, didn't seem to notice that the pasta was at all different than usual. My husband, who is usually skeptical, said that he was impressed with the texture - it didn't feel any thicker, chewier or starchier than regular pasta. I enjoyed the flavour and texture as well.
That said, I hesitate to spend extra on this. The added nutrition is nice. . . but not significant enough to justify a (much) higher price. If it were on sale, I would consider picking this up. If not, I'd likely stick with whatever is cheapest.

I received a box of this pasta for free as part of the Product Review Club. While I tend to enjoy whole wheat, healthier-tasting pasta, my husband and kids are generally less enthusiastic. My husband cooked this for dinner earlier this week and both my kids (4 and 1 1/2 years of age) ate as much as they usually would with a regular pasta (so tons for the baby, and a smaller portion for the 4 year old, lol). My husband, who is usually skeptical, said that he was impressed with the texture - it didn't feel any thicker, chewier or starchier than regular pasta.

I also received the Micellar Water and, although I was initially more excited about that product, find this one the better product. While I am not sure if I look more awake or refreshed (I just returned to work after mat leave and have a 3 1/2 year old and 7 month old. . . I don't know if anything can make me look truly refreshed, lol!), it is a nice, lightweight moisturizer. I have combination skin which can suffer from hormonal breakouts so, while moisturizing is important to me, I am a little picky about the products I use.
On the positive side, this product has a lovely pump dispenser and, while it isn't a huge bottle, a little goes a long way. The moisturizer is lightweight, absorbs quickly and has very little (if any) scent. I find it is excellent for daytime use and have no problem applying makeup over top (some moisturizers are too greasy for me to do this). I also find the price reasonable for this type of product. Probably my favourite thing is the gel texture - it doesn't feel like I'm slathering a heavy, creamy moisturizer over my face, which is perfect for oily or combo skin types. This also has very few triggers according to CosDNA (dimethicone is a level 1 acne trigger, and tocopherol is a level 2 acne trigger and a level 2 potential irritant). I had no irritation or breakouts while using this product.
On the downside, I didn't feel that this did the job any better than some of my other moisturizers. Yes, it moisturized. But it didn't seem to wake up my skin as promised (as I mentioned, I'm not sure if any product can do that for me at this point in my life). It also contains alcohol which isn't generally something I like to see in a moisturizer - not a deal-breaker, but the ingredients list doesn't wow me.
Ultimately, this is an average moisturizer. It definitely does its job and I appreciate how lightweight it is. I don't feel like I'm smothering my skin when I use this product. At this price point, this is a good choice for those with oily or combo skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have drier skin (this is not a moisture bomb) or if you prefer skincare without alcohols.

I received this product for review as part of the Product Review Club.
I had long been interested in trying out a micellar cleanser as I've heard a lot about them - gentle, one-step cleansing that can even remove makeup! Unfortunately, I did not find this product to be worth it for me. While it is certainly gentle, I did not find it to be as effective as I would have hoped. I have combination skin which can be subject to hormonal acne - this may work better for a different skin type or for someone with different concerns (mine are acne control and anti-aging at the moment).
On the positive side, this is easy to use (just put some on a cotton pad and rub over your face), does not have much of a scent, and is quite gentle (CosDNA shows only one potentially troubling ingredient - hexylene glycol, rated a 2 as an acne trigger and a 1 as an irritant). I did not have any breakouts or reactions to this product. While the packaging claims that this can be used to remove makeup and cleanse skin without any other steps, I found that I was most comfortable using it in the morning when I simply had to remove my nighttime moisturizers and sleeping pack. The price is also, in my opinion, quite reasonable.
On the down side, this did not work well at makeup removal. At all. My eye makeup wouldn't budge with this product so I quickly returned to my double-cleansing method (an oil cleanser and then a foaming one) for the end of the day. While it did feel gentle on my skin, it also left a bit of a film (likely the moisturizing effect?) which made my skin feel less clean. It certainly didn't strip my skin. . . but it also didn't feel 100% clean and fresh either. While I didn't mind this in the morning, at the end of the day, I want all the day's grease and grime off my face so I can do my nighttime routine without the worry that I will have a breakout the next day.
Ultimately, I don't think micellar waters in general are something that I will use in the future - they just don't seem to fit what I look for in my skincare. If you don't wear much makeup and / or don't have much time to dedicate to your skincare (this might be great at the gym?), this type of product might be a better fit for you. Even so, I would be interested to know how this stacks up against other similar products - this didn't wow me enough to understand why micellar waters are becoming such a craze so maybe there are simply better ones out there? I will stick to what works for me and my skin.

Love these! Added nutrition without a lot of added calories. We love them on salads, in smoothies and used as breading on chicken fingers and topping salmon steaks. So good :)

While this is tasty, one of the reasons I eat Greek yogurt is for the extra protein. As a vegetarian, this is important to me. This is "Mediterranean" yogurt, not Greek which means it is not as high in protein. For comparison's sake, this has 6g of protein in 175g of yogurt while Iogo's Greek yogurt offers 8g of protein in only 100g of yogurt. That's a big difference - over twice as much protein in the Greek yogurt. So, this a good yogurt but do not buy it thinking you are getting the benefits of Greek yogurt - you are not. Buy it if you enjoy the taste, texture and price. For me, this isn't worth it. -
