Now, this is what I’m talking about when I want effectiveness! It is common that the makeup companies’ claim on the packages (or publicity) wonderful things about their products, obviously, right? Otherwise, why would you buy them? But they tend to exaggerate, and once you use the product, you often find that the claims that the product makes are hardly ever met. But Mist&Fix;from Make Up For Ever does work. Its purpose is simple: make your makeup last longer. And it really does, for instance, I use it over the NARS sheer glow foundation, because its staying power is not that good. But obviously, you can use it over any foundation. The bottle suggests two ways of using it, either spraying it over your foundation before the powder or after completed makeup application. I tried both, and the first one works much better. Also, it helps to reduce the shining on my T-zone, so I don’t even need to retouch with powder. The cost might be on the pricey side but the 125ml last forever, you only need a couple of sprays. Now, I must say that this is my opinion for now, I’m sure that I will see its true potential on summer. But if it works as well, it will be a staple/HG product!!! ☺ -

Ok, I know MANY people love this product but I personally didn’t. First of all, you probably know it does not provide with a sheer or glowy finish but more like a semi-mat one, which I really don’t care much about. What was important to me is that it gave a “natural finish” and yet a good coverage. At some point it does but in a way that many other foundations would do. Like let’s say Lancome teinte ultra idole, it does the same thing but it is 45$ while NARS cost me 55 tx=62$!! For this money I want outstanding stuff. It doesn’t even come with a pump for christ sake! So, I’m sure you can tell by now that I wont be purchasing this product again. There is nothing to it. -

Lise Watier Makeup Brush Cleanser
First of all, I have to say that Lise Watier carry excellent products and it is hard to find something you'll hate, at least I haven't so far and I own quite several different items from them like makeup, creams, brushes, parfums, etc. Now, for this particular one I have mostly good things to say except for two "details" that I'll mention later on. First, it is fast and efficient. When you spray the tissue with this product in which you are going to rub off the makeup from the brush it takes only a few seconds for you to see how the wet tissue removes all the makeup. And it does condition them, so in less than a minute you'll have a clean, soft brush! Forget about the messy soap cleaning and the obvious loss of the bristles and then the long hours for them to get dry. I really ADORE this thing, because it doesn't require much time or energy. Now, the only two little things that I am not crazy about are these: 1) the smell is quite strong, kind of an almond scent mixed with alcohol and 2) the bottle is a little small (60ml) and it evaporates, which is not exactly ideal. But overall, I find this product to be extremely efficient and easy to use, and because of that I will keep purchasing it! I hope this helps from whom ever is thinking on buying one of this cleansers. :)

I used this foundation for a few months trying to finish up the bottle and I'm not convinced yet. It is supposed to last all day (14 hours) and have a medium coverage. In my opinion, this product doesn't meet any of these qualities. It lasts the average time, which depends on the type of skin you have (I have combination/oily skin) if you use a primer of if you set it with a powder. On its own it does not last 14 hours. The coverage is poor, it can be buildable but as any foundation, the more you add the more cakey and fake it looks. The only good thing that I have to mention, is that it does feel light on the skin unlike let's say Revlon color stay which doesn't let the skin to breath and when I remove it my skin looks awful and kind of grey. Any way, I'm still looking for the perfect foundation, I heard good things about NARS sheer glow and Chanel Prolumiere. Have you tried them? I'd love some feedback on these. :) -

First of all, I am big time fan of lip glosses which means I have at least a 100 in my lipgloss drawer. With this I just want to say that I have tried many from several different brands. The most important thing for me in a lipgloss is that it lasts. The Sephora lip glosses are amazing on this particular matter, they last for hours, they're not sticky at all, actually they have a creamy/mosturizing texture that feels awsome on the lips. As for the colors they have a great range, so that really is up to each one of you. I have tried Lancome which are twice as expensive, chap my lips and are super sticky which I hate. So, this is my new favorite lip gloss. -
