Devine Definition Shampoo by Love, Beauty and Planet is made with coconut and white jasmine to awaken your curls and enhance the natural definition of your hair. This eco-friendly shampoo is formulated with planet-based cleansers and ethically sourced ingredients. It's vegan, cruelty-free and does not contain silicones, dyes or parabens. I have received this shampoo, complementary of Chickadvisor, for testing and review.
This shampoo seems like it's a pretty good value because the bottle is pretty big (400ml), and would last you a long time. The shampoo itself is pearly-white. It is very fragranced with notes of coconut milk and Jasmine flowers. It has a very fresh, green floral scent. The coconut smell is not the type you smell in tropical sunscreens or lipbalms. If you like to use hair mists, you will like this shampoo. Initially, when you first get out of the shower the fragrance is very strong. But once your hair dries it changes into a lighter scent that lasts throughout the day and even into the next.
This shampoo lathers really well. Infact, it lathers just as good as non-eco friendly shampoos that I have used. It made may hair feel nice and clean after use.
I like this shampoo by Love, Beauty and Planet. It works well and does it in a way that is better for our planet, which is something that is important to me. The scent of this shampoo isn't my favourite scent ever, but it's not bad, and really, fragrance is all a matter of preferance anyway.
The next time you are looking for a new shampoo, you might want to give this a try. I do recommend it.

Aveeno Positively Radiant MaxGlow Infusion Drops promise to give your skin a radiant glow that locks in moisture and hydrate your skin for 48 hrs. I recieved this product complementary of Chickadvisor for testing and review purposes.
The serum comes in a dropper format, that's actually really nice and the bottle is kind of pretty. The drops smell exactly the same as the other products in Maxglow line and thus have a light, tropical fruit-like smell.
I want to start by pointing out that I am very sensitive to fragrance and many skin care products. But I can happily say that neither the scent of these drops, nor the drops themselves caused me to have any type of allergic reaction.
The Maxglow drops are a thinner gel-serum format. The package says that you can mix them in with your moisturizer and so that's what I do when I use them. It mixes in really well and makes application easy. When applied, you can't really tell that you have the serum on your face. If you touch your face, you can feel a few slightly tacky patches, even after you've had it on for an hour or more. I don't find that it's something that is really bothersome though. Plus, I think if you plan to use these drops under your makeup, you probably wouldn't feel it at all.
So the whole point in using these drops is to make your skin glow and look radiant. My skin, like many of us, has been suffering from the winter blues and has been needing something to give me back that glow and ride me of that lack-luster appearance. After using these drops, I can actually say that I did notice an improvement in the appearance of my skin. The drops actually do give it some of it's natural-looking glow back (not a glow-oil type glow, fyi) and make my skin look more radiant. It's very natural looking and I'm rather pleased with the results.
Overall, I actually think these drops are pretty good. I think they will last me a long time since the bottle is quite large and you dont need to use much. I would say that yes, I would recommend the Aveeno Maxglow Infusion Drops to someone who is looking to help revitalize their complexion and achieve a natural-looking glow.

Aveeno Positively Radiant MaxGlow No-Mess Sleep Mask, made with soy and kiwi complex, is an overnight face mask that will hydrate your skin while you sleep so that you wake up to dewy, radiant skin. I was given this mask to test and review, for free, by Chickadvisor.
Gladly, this mask really did live up to its claims of being hypoallergenic. I am very sensitive to smells and a lot of skincare products irritate my skin. But, this face mask didn't bother my skin at all, yay! The scent is light and rather like tropical fruit.
The applicator for this mask is smart. It's a silicone paddle, attached to the tube the mask comes in, that you can turn to open and close the applicator. You squeeze it and the mask comes right out the end of the paddle, which you then use to spread the mask over your face. That's where the no-mess part is comes in because you dont actually have to touch your face at all to apply the mask.
Once the mask has set, you can't really see it, but you can feel it a bit if you touch your face. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky. It has this kind of suedy-type feel to it.
In the morning, the mask easily washes off of your face with water and cleanser.
After using this mask several times, I can honestly say that, well, I really didn't notice any difference in the appearance of my skin. I did not find it to be any more dewy or radiant looking than it was before I started using the mask. I don't really think my skin felt any different either - as in smoother, more hydrated, etc.
Therefore, sadly, no I wouldn't buy this product in future and I would likely recommend it to anyone either.

Aveeno Positively Radiant MaxGlow Peel-Off Mask claims to brighten and exfoliate your skin. The peel-off mask will lift away dry, dead skin to reveal glowing skin with better tone and texture. I received this Aveeno peel-off mask from Chickadvisor, complementary, for testing and review purposes.
I have never used a mask like this before, so using the peel-off formula was definitely a new experience for me. The squeeze-tipped bottle makes application simple because you can squeeze the product directly onto your face and then spread it out. You need to work fast because the mask becomes tacky and difficult to spread as it quickly starts to dry once it's out of the bottle. Furthermore, you need to use a fair enough amount of product for this mask to work well. Too thin of a layer makes it hard to peel the mask off your face, and it ends up peeling off in little bits.
After 20 minutes the mask dries into a shiny, stiff sheet that you then peel off your face. This is the wackiest part of this mask because it's kind of like peeling a big sticker off of your face. The first time I used it, it actually hurt a bit to pull off my cheeks (the second time didn't... weird).
So is all this fuss and "pain" worth it in the end? Well, I can say that after using this mask my skin really did feel smoother. I didn't think my skin was particularly rough before, but the noticeable difference after using the mask was quite surprising. I don't really think I'd say that my skin looked glowy from using this mask. But, since it removed the rougher, dead skin from my face, it left my face looking more even and healthier.
To sum everything up, the Aveeno Maxglow Peel-off mask is easy to use and results in skin with a more even looking texture and tone that feels smoother. However, you do have to use a fair amount of product per mask; you probably would only get three uses/ bottle. Also, the mask can smart a bit when you peel it off.
I am not sure whether I would buy this product or not. It does work well enough, but I don't really like the fact that the hurt a bit to remove. It also seems a bit pricey to buy if you're only going to get three uses out of it.

Oh deary me. I was so disappointed when my FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Mini Fairy Bomb turned out to be a total bust. After I ordered it, I noticed comments popping up from other's who had bought it saying that their little bombs didn't work. Unfortunately, mine was the same. This little, adorable snowball-like puff is supposed to have shimmery powder in it that you can apply to your skin with a pat of the puff. But, with my fairy bomb, I had to wack the crap out of the thing, onto my skin, to get anything to come out of it. When powder finally did come out, there was very little of it, unlike the product photo that shows a full out powder streak across the model's arm. You really shouldn't have to beat yourself up in order to get a product to work! (Seriously!). Not worth the $25 CAD I paid for it. Plus, it turns out that the powder is scented and it isn't a very good scent... It's sweet, but not in a good way. It's weird....
Sadly, this is definitely a product on the return list.

I really like this base coat. It goes on smoothly and easily and dries down fast. It's a bit tacky, even once "dry", but I think that it helps to make your nail polish colour stick down to your nail. Nail colour goes on nice and easy with this base coat on and I really do think it makes a difference to the appearance and the polish's lasting power. The best thing about this base coat is that it works well and it's super cheap! Can't go wrong there. -

I bought this liner specifically for use in my waterline and for tightlining my eyes. I had read good things about it and the product description said that it is safe for use in the waterline, so I decided to give it a try. I am pleasently surprised by this STELLAR Hyper Eyeliner Retractable Pencil. It has a nice fine tip that makes lining my inner rim easy. It glides over my kids easily, with good pigmentation. It makes for a very nice, black line. It is also comfortable to use - it doesn't rough my eyelids up or anything.
I also bought this liner because I had read that reviews that said it's good for contact lens wearers. I myself wear contacts, and so a liner for my waterline cannot budge and it definitely has to be non-irritating. This liner makes both those marks. It doesn't bother my eyes and it stay in place. Crazy enough, having said this, the best thing about this liner is that it really stays on and just as easily comes off! With other inner rim appropriate liners I've had in past, I've had to SCRUB my eyes to death to get the liner off. But not with this liner!
So you can see that I very much like this liner and I plan to repurchase in future.

I was very lucky to receive a VoxBox to try out HERSHEY's Gold Caramelized Creme Miniatures , for free. You get a whole brunch of these baby- sized chocolate bars in one bag; each of which are individually wrapped. I actually really like that they are mini and each wrapped. I like eating my sweets in little bits at-a-go, rather than a whole bar at once, so the minis are perfect for me. Plus, they're good for sharing.
Now to move onto the actual bar! I'm pretty sure that these bars are made out of caramelized white chocolate, but do not be fooled because they really do not taste like white chocolate at all. Rather, they have a mellow, burnt sugar type of flavour (think your favorite Starbucks créme brule latte. That sort of flavour). Sweet, but not too sweet. The bars are also, of course, choc-full of crunchy peanuts and pretzels giving you crunch, followed with a bit of salty and then peanut buttery-like goodness. The salty peanut butter taste goes really well with the caramelized chocolate, making a sweet/salty snack that's not too sweet, but just right and well balanced. Pretty yummy, and not bad at all.

Q-tips Cotton Swabs are essentially the original cotton swab brand. They are a reliable, quality product that I know I can always count on. They are good for medical/ first aid use, as well as for cosmetic purposes (which is what I use them for). The are really good to use for makeup removal around your eyes or for precise makeup application. These cotton swabs also don't fuzz off onto your face, which is very important if you're going to use them around your eyes. -

I am quite pleased with this Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream. It is very different from its sibling, the Lala Retro Whipped Cream moisturizer, which I also like very much. It's a much thinner texture than the whipped cream. Even so, this silky thin mositurizer still gives my dry skin the hydration it needs, and it does so without making my face feel greasy or slimy. It's veryquick to absorb and, once it has, you don't notice it's on your face at all.
The most impressive thing to me about this moisturizer is that it really is unscented, 100%. It's hard to find a moisturizer that ticks all the boxes, that's also unscented. So this moisturizer is a big win for me. It's really nice.
