I was so excited to try my Premier Protein Chocolate Shake after receiving it from #ChickAdvisor. This product has the exact qualities I look for in a protein shake: low in sugar and calories, with a good amount of protein to it - and with only 1g of sugar, 160 cals and 30g of protein per serving, it definitely checked all the boxes! Which is why I was so disappointed once I actually got to try the shake. The colour and the texture of the shake are just fine - it looks just like low-fat chocolate milk - and it feels good in the mouth because it's nice and fluid, rather than thick or powdery. The taste is where this product let me down. At first sip, the drink tastes chocolatey, but right as soon as I swallowed it my mouth was filled with this odd flavour that reminded me of over cooked canned corn. Not nice. The drink smells a bit odd too - it has a starchy smell to it, which it really weird. I'm thinking it might be the protein in the drink that I can taste and smell. It really is too bad because between the smell and the taste of this shake, it totally put me off the drink and so I won't be purchasing them in the future. I just did not find it enjoyable at all. -

Jif Peanut Butter is by far my favourite and the best peanut butter on the market, in my opinion. It's smooth a creamy without being oily or greasy. Since it's so creamy, it spreads really nicely into toast, bagels, bread or whatever you like. It has a very nice, slightly roasted peanut flavor to it - which might sound obvious, but I have had peanut butters before that barely taste like peanuts at all. Jif is super tasty, and I love it. -

The Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil is a really great brow product. Goof-proof really is a great way to describe it because this pencil really does make doing your eyebrows that easy. The product in the pencil itself is sort of diamond shaped, and this shape magical creates a perfectly natural brow shape in one to two stokes. Doing my eyebrows now is so fast, and so easy, it's fantastic! The only downside to this product is the price. I was lucky and got mine on sale. It is expensive - $32 CAD a pop, ouch! Otherwise, it would've been a 5 star product. -

The NAILS INC. Holler-Graphic Holographic Nail Polish Duo is a super fun Holographic nail duo. The polish is the good quality that I would normally expect from NAILS INC. It's a non-streaky, easy-to-use polish. The brush is nice and wide to minimize application strokes. This polish is fairly pigmented, and I found that I only needed 1-2 coats. The polish also dries in pretty good timing.
As for the holographic part, this polish is super pretty! The polishes, pink or silver based, both have a holographic-rainbow reflect that is kind of glittery/sparkley in nature. On top of all this, this set sells for $15 CAD; a fantastic deal for the quality you're getting. You really can't go wrong with this galactic duo!

This Alō Appeal aloe vera drink is quite nice and refreshing. It has a light citrus flavour to it and it's not sour in the slightest. It isn't sugary in flavor either. It actually reminds me a lot of Wink soda, only without all the fizz. I don't really think that you taste the aloe juice that's in it, so no need to worry about it tasting medicinal. There are strips of aloe vera jelly dispersed in the drink, and I really like it. The balance of drink to jelly is perfect - you still are drinking a drink, not eating one. If you've never tried an aloe drink before, I recommend you try this one. -

I tried the So Delicious non-dairy cashew frozen dessert Salted Caramel Cluster flavor and I seriously couldn't believe that I wasn't eating real ice cream! This is the best non-dairy ice cream that I've ever had! It tastes just you're eating real ice ceam, with real chocolate pieces and caramel ribbon. The 'ice cream' is creamy and the 'caramel' is honestly the best tasting caramel I've had in an ice cream. When I tried it for the first time, I was thinking how crazy-good the caramel is and then suddenly remembered that it really isn't a true caramel since it's dairy-free... but it seriously tastes SO caramely!! I have no idea how So Deliscious does it, but they've created a vegan 'ice cream' dessert that would fool the biggest ice cream addicts. This ice cream has officially become a new favorite and I will be buying this product again for sure! -

I like the Sephora Collection Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes Yuzu 25 Wipes . They work quite well to remove makeup in just a couple of swipes. They smell lightly of citrus from the yuzu fruit. I have been using them for a bit now and so far they have not upset my sensitive skin. The wipes are soft and they leave your skin feeling gently hydrated. The value of these wipes is also great at 25 wipes/pkg for $10 CAD. Very nice -

Really, what much could I say about these drops? They are drying drops by Essence Cosmetics that come in a little glass bottle with a dropper. These little drops really do work well. Once you've painted your nails, you wait about 30 seconds, and then apply 2-3 drops on each nail and they speed the dry time of your nail polish up by like 3 fold. They don't smell, they are really easy to use and best of all, they are super cheap! Plus, they work just as well as their more expensive competitor's drying drops. I give them two thumbs up. -

This Nexxus leave-in conditioning spray is pretty good. I think it does help to condition my hair. I'm not really sure how much of a difference it makes on my hair since I don't really see a huge difference, but it foes make my hair shiney when I use it. I also like that it doesn't have a perfumey or lingering smell to it. Not bad, but I feel like there may be better leave-ins out there. -

I was so excited to finally get my hands on the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye(TM) Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer, since Sephora had an early IT cosmetics release on their app. (Before then, you couldn't easily get IT cosmetics in Canada). I have really dark, purple-blue undereye circles that stand out like a sore thumb againsnt my fair skin. Said to cover anything without a crack or crease, this concealer has been raved about by many as a game changing product. But is it really?... I wouldn't agree. It did not cover my dark circles. I tried it without and with color corrector; using a little (as directed) or a lot, but either way it just didn't do the job. It is very thick and a little tacky, which makes it a bit difficult to blend into your skin. Wearing it felt alright once it was set with powder, I'll give it that. Sadly though, it creases! (Even using the tiniest amount of powder). Not the worst concealer I've ever tried, but diffinitely not the holy-grail product it was supposed to be! Major lunch-bag let down! -
