I ordered this from Boots to collect at my local Boots store. When I remove the lid and safety cap I noticed that part of the balm was solid. As this was the first time I had purchased this balm I was not sure that it should be like that. I had seen it on QVC UK and the pot they showed was a more thicker cream texture. It didn’t put me off using it and a very small amount no bigger than a thumbnail is enough once melted in my hands to clean my face and neck along with removing my makeup. Some balm cleansers I have used leave a small amount of eyeliner once I had wiped it off with a muslin cloth. This didn’t. Yes you do get panda eyes or eye makeup around your eyes but it is gone all gone once wiped off with either a flannel or muslin cloth. I have used it in the morning as a first cleanse or a second cleanse at night. Depending if I have time or not I have used the IT Cosmetics Miracle Water both before and after using the balm as well as on its own. My skin loves it. The redness on my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose to me have reduced. It hasn’t irritated my eyes. I will be repurchasing this when I have finished the pot. Not sure when it will be! -

I ordered this from their UK website as this was the only place that I could get the shade Fair/Light at the time. I had previously tried the Illuminating and Original formulations in the Light and had found that they were a little too dark for me, I am not sure if they had oxidised on my skin. This has the same lemony smell as the other formulations when you first apply it to the skin but goes after awhile. Just like the other formulations I wear one pump all over my face if I want a natural, I just woke up looking like this, or two pumps if I want a more polished finish to my foundation. It blends brilliantly into the skin, covering my redness on my cheeks, chin and forehead without hiding my freckles. I love the matte finish that it gives me. I have always used a brush to apply this and haven’t tried my BeautyBlender as I feel I wouldn’t get the coverage or finish I want – will try it and post a photo. -

I must admit something straight off I had purchased this product through a website called Wish and wasn’t sure it was the real deal but as far as I can tell it is. I have been using the shade Light which is too dark for me – it might be because it oxidises on my skin. It does everything that I have seen and read about the range. It covers my red cheeks, nose, forehead and chin perfectly without my freckles being hidden. For a natural look I would use one pump to cover my whole face, if I wanted a fuller coverage I would use two pumps. It stays in place all day, doesn’t sit in the fine lines and wrinkles I have around my eyes and mouth. Where I need the extra coverage, I would stipple the CC+ Cream onto my face then blend it out. This is the second variation of the CC+ Cream I have tried and am in love with it if it is possible to love a foundation. I have had so many compliments about my skin when I am using this and am happy to tell them that it is the CC+ Cream that has giving me the radiance and luminosity to my skin. I definitely will be purchasing this product again. -

Having for some time, seen IT Cosmetics on QVC UK and QVC Beauty I was interested in seeing if it would cover my redness that I have on my cheeks, chin and nose. Some foundations I have used in the past don’t cover these areas to my satisfaction without concealer. I was also looking for a foundation that had SPF in it. If you are not aware the founder of IT Cosmetics is an American television presenter who has hereditary rosacea (it predominantly affects fair-skinned people). She had tried various foundations without success. Being able to speak to the best dermatologist and plastic surgeons and with their help developed IT Cosmetics. I must admit this is the best foundation I have found in a long time. It covers my redness without the need of concealer, it doesn’t sit in my fine lines around my mouth and eyes. One pump is enough to cover my whole face. It has a lovely lemony smell which I was worried that might make my sensitive skin sore, but it doesn’t. My skin feels soft and hydrated as it starts its life as skincare with the added benefit of sun protection and coverage of foundation. If you are like me who wants to hide the redness but allow your freckles shine through then this is the foundation for you. Once I have used this, I will try the other two variations of this and let you know how I get on. There is an illuminating one and an oil-free matte one. In other words, watch this space. -

This was part of the free gifts that I received when I placed an order on their website. It is a small tube but you only need the very smallest amount to cover both under eye areas. If you are only using it as an under eye concealer then choose a shade lighter than your normal foundation shade. If you want to cover spots and redness then I would recommend ordering a shade similar to your foundation shade. In other words order two, one for use under your eyes and the other for spots and redness. Be careful how much pressure you apply to the tube as you only require the smallest and I mean smallest amount. For me, I have found that a size of a pin head will cover both of my under eye area and around my nose if it is a little more red than usual. I have only one tube as the lightest shade they have is the shade I would have to order not only to conceal under my eyes but also the redness around my nose and forehead if I felt that their CC+ cream wasn’t enough coverage. I will admit that I have used it as a foundation only once because for me, I felt that the coverage it gave is more an ‘office’ look rather than sitting in the house on my own. If like me you know that you are not venturing out but do not want to scare the postman then the Bye Bye Under Eye can be worn on its own without having to apply foundation or CC cream of your choice. I have applied it using a Real Technique Deluxe Crease brush and my ring finger, applying it with a brush gives a better finish no matter what if you are applying foundation or CC cream afterwards. It can be applied before or after foundation it depends on what type of look you are after. It is also good to carefully apply it to your eyelids to make your eye shadow last longer and be able to enhance the colour you are wearing. -

This was purchased from the website Wish and hopefully it is the correct product. I have tried it with the matching CC+ Cream and its great. I haven’t tried it with the other formulations of the CC+ Cream I have. I promised to update this post as soon as I have. Having watched the shows on QVC UK I agree that a small amount will cover the areas under both eyes. It lasts all day doesn’t need retouching like some do. It even covers redness of spots. This is the best concealer I have used in years. It doesn’t sit in the fine lines I have around my eyes. The redness I have around my nose is covered to perfection. I apply it with a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush, firstly dotting it on the area I want to conceal then soft swirling the brush around until it has blended to the depth of coverage I need, and once I have completed my make-up I can always go back and apply more if necessary. This product has joined my every day make-up bag and now feel naked if I am not wearing it. -

This product was received as a sample from an order I placed with IT Cosmetics UK website. I like the fact that it has a spoolie on one end unlike Benefit’s Precisely My Brow mini pencil. The shade I am using is Universal Taupe which should work for any shade of brow hair. Like Precisely My Brow you can create individual hairs if you want a more natural looking brow. You can also ‘scribble’ to fill in large areas and draw lines above and below your brow if you want a stronger looking brow. I have used the pencil both ways when creating my brows depending on how I feel that day. I always do my brows after my foundation and before completing the rest of my makeup as this may change what type of makeup look I do. The first time I used the pencil to complete a natural looking brow, my hubby commented on how awake I looked. He prefers it when I do a more stronger brow though I don’t feel confident or comfortable wearing this look every day. It is a good starter pencil if you have never done your brows before and works well underneath Benefit’s Gimme Brow +. -

This was a sample from the Autumn/Winter Dare Magazine that you can buy in some supermarkets. The smell is gorgeous, and the texture of the foam is like a thick luxurious whipped cream. One word of advice depress the button gently to release the product as it comes out a little quickly. A small amount goes a very long way covering the body in a thick nourishing foam. I was a little worried that the foam would be hard to rinse off as it felt like it was stuck to my skin. No problem there it came off with ease leaving behind soft supple skin. The only reason why I wouldn’t buy this is the price. -

This mist is to be used after cleansing before serums and moisturisers which to me seems weird. Holding the bottle at arm’s length you can cover your face, neck and décolleté in one go. Which is how I have been applying it. We are currently experience some hot weather and I have found that the spray is fine enough to spray over make-up when I want to cool my face down. It doesn’t disrupt or move my make-up and with the hot weather being around for a few days it is just what I need. I have only been using it a week and have noticed that at the end of the day my skin isn’t feel tight and I don’t need to rush to take off my make-up. I would love it to be in a smaller bottle so that I can keep it in my back-pack and use it when I am out and about. I will be repurchasing this product as I can see many uses for this product. -

I have used this over my foundation as recommended on the tube and found that it moves the foundation even though it is The Ordinary and when mixed with my foundation, my foundation didn’t blend as well as it did when I didn’t mix the two together. For me the best way to use this is after moisturiser before primer waiting at least 15 minutes after applying moisturiser and before applying primer. My skin looks smooth and my make-up looks perfect all-day long. I have noticed that on my no make-up days my skin feels dry by lunchtime. To counteract this, I apply it even if I am not wearing any make-up. Since using this product I have had compliments on how well I look. I will be re-purchasing this product, I just wish I could walk into a store and buy it rather than online. Deciem please have a store in Birmingham. -
