After washing my hair twice with the accompanying shampoo, I applied a gorgeous rich and thick smoky purple grey conditioner to hair working into the hair in sections. I left it on for between five and ten minutes then rinsed my hair thoroughly. Once my hair dried naturally, I could see a difference and my hair looked grey. Not only that but it was soft and shiny, there were no flyways or fluffiness that I can get it if the conditioner is too rich for my hair. This is perfect. -

I am an addict. I love all the colours of They’re Real Push Up Liner if I am honest I would love them to create/make a charcoal grey liner. Holding the tip close to my eyelashes I can draw a line – firstly to get used to it I would press along the lash line to create a thin line. As I got more confident using the product I slowly draw a line starting from the outer corner to the inner corner of my eye. The benefit of using this is that I don’t need to pull my eyelid taught to draw a perfect line. I have now mastered the art of the flick by using a credit card, resting the corner of the credit card on the corner of my nose, lining the edge with the corner of my eye pointing towards my eyebrow. I love all the colours – I am currently using the purple and green. When I had a make- up lesson at Debenhams, Grand Central I asked for the make-up artist to use the blue and as can be seen in the photo it looks good and I will be buying it soon. -

atched Lisa Potter Dixon on YouTube and QVC UK, I think I can use the wand correctly. I have found with all Benefit Mascaras one dip in the tube covers both lower and upper eyelashes of both eyes. I only dip again if I want to apply a second coat which is not often. As always, I use the wand horizontally to cover all my lower lashes, then my upper lashes one eye at a time. After covering all my lashes, I turn the wand vertically, shouting in my head ‘Go vertical’ – if you have watched LPD you will understand, and swipe again along the upper lashes from root to tip paying attention to the outer corner lashes to make sure I have covered all my lashes. As always when applying any mascara, I have a cotton bud or BeautyBlender handy to make sure that I can remove any mascara that has transferred to by my eyebrow. I usually use the black but again from LPD I tried the blue one recently and loved it. It made my hazel eyes look greener. I will be purchasing either again soon. -

This product is amazing on its own or worn underneath mascara. I have worn this primer on its own if I want a natural look. I must admit I am not a fan of brown mascaras, but this product changed my mind. I have, when I wanted a more dramatic look, worn the primer then roller lash and a final coat of They’re Real. I got compliments galore on how amazing my lashes look – someone even asked what false lashes I was using. -

I like the shape of the bullet as it makes easy to apply without a brush. The teardrop shape also helps to know which way to hold the lipstick when applying to top and bottom lip. The point of the teardrop holds the liner element of the lipstick so there is no need for a separate one. The lighter shade is the lipstick. As you swipe the bullet along your lip you are outlining and applying the lipstick in one go which if you are short on time is very handy. When applying the bullet to your bottom lip you turn the bullet so that the point of the teardrop is against your natural lip line. I have only tried the nude colours – Lusty Rose and Nude Scandal – in the photo I am wearing Criminally Coral, it looks scary in the bullet but as the photo shows it is a nice pale coral shade which to me is a very wearable every day shade. I have found these lipsticks are moisturising and my lips do not crack and peel when wearing them. They also last a long time and don’t transfer to cups and mugs etc. If you have ‘smoker’ lines around your mouth it will not spread into them as you have applied the liner at the same time as applying the lipstick. I now wear lipstick all the time because these lipsticks are a joy to wear. Yes I will be re-purchasing them and probably not a nude shade! -

This is a great edition to the Porefessional range. It has all the benefits of the original Porefessional it just has the added benefit of the hyaluronic acid that provides the skin with 12 hours hydration. Sometimes, I found the original could be a little dry, this isn’t. As you apply it to the skin, the skin feels cool where the primer is blended into the skin. It leaves the skin with a velvet matte finish that looks perfect without foundation and helps adhere the foundation to the skin perfectly. The added hydration also prevents the skin from sucking it the moisture from the foundation, so it doesn’t look patchy. I feel that the best way to apply this to the skin with your fingers rather than a sponge or brush as I feel that heat from your fingers helps it melt into the skin rather than sit on top of it. It should be added to every person’s makeup arsenal as you never know when you need to change your primer because your skin is having a bad day. -

This highlighter I would use in the summer when I want a soft bronze look to my skin or to enhance a fake tan. If I was using Hoola to contour, I would use this highlighter before my foundation and then if I felt I need a more intense glow on my cheek bones or eye brow I would dot one dot of the product and blend using my BeautyBlender. I feel that the best way to blend this is with a BeautyBlender rather than my fingers as it will give a smooth flawless finish. -

Again, I purchased this when I saw it on an Instagram post letting use know that it had been launched. Most of my eyeliners in the past have been black – I ordered the brown. I admit that I prefer a matte look to my eyes as I don’t want to draw to the redness that I permanently. I am not the greatest at creating a flick and found that placing the felt tip where I wanted my flick I could create it easily. The tip is also flexible so that you can draw very close to the top lashes and create either a thick or thin line depending on what type of look you want to create. If you want a thin line then apply it once your mascara has dried, if you want a thick line apply it before your mascara. The brown is for a more natural look, if you want a more dramatic look try the black. I like the They’re Real Push Liner in all colour variants but I will admit that this is the eyeliner of choice for everyday wear and I will be purchasing the black to see how it looks. -

I thought that the smile shaped brush would not curl my lashes nor would it last long. Using the wand with the curl mirroring my eye shape I swiped my lower lashes – covered all my lashes in one swipe. I always use the wand horizontally on both my upper and lower lashes as I have found that I don’t poke myself in the eye and it gives me the best coverage. Holding the wand again mirroring the shape of my eye as close to the roots of my lashes I swipe up keeping as close as I can. You can feel the wand hugging the lashes as you swipe – it is not unpleasant. The curl lasts all day and is brilliant. If you want a false lash look without wearing them then put a coat of They’re Real over the top. I must admit I prefer the black rather than the brown mascara as I found when wearing the brown I didn’t look like I had any mascara on. This is my go to mascara for every day wear whether I am wearing jeans or having to be smart. -

Having seen this on Instagram, I bought it from Benefits UK website. I had bought it before I was told that I shouldn’t wear anything in my waterline which I have tried, and my eyes were red and very sensitive. I apply it to the inner corner of my eye and had no problems. I do like this pencil – the texture is perfect if you want to blend it or leave how it came out of the bullet. My first thought that it would be very noticeable as it has a slight shimmer, but it isn’t. The colour seems adaptable to whatever skin tone it is applied to, again I was worried that it would be too pink for my colouring I was wrong. It works well when my eyes are red due to irritation or from being too tired as I have not slept properly, and it goes everywhere I go as I like to re-apply it to make sure I always look awake and less tired. I will be repurchasing it. -
