I have watched Lisa Potter Dixon’s Youtube Channel tutorials and have love the way she has used the product to define her eyebrows. Having a gap at the front of my right eyebrow (see picture below) I have been using Browvo to help grow them back. I have used this to draw them in. Once completed my brows look natural. If I feel that I don’t want to go out of the house but want to look awake and polished, this compared to the Goof Proof pencil gives the most natural looking eyebrows followed by 24hr Brow Set. When I want to leave the house, I will put on Gimme Brow over the top to fix them in place. I will be repurchasing this. -

I got this free when buying a copy of Elle Magazine. I am so glad I did. This works brilliant both under and over foundation depending on what type of finish you want. It is easy to apply as it is a stick and blends wonderfully as it is a cream. This is the cream version of their powder bronzer Hoola. It works well with Hoola as a blusher and eye shadow and other powder blushers you may have. I have tried it with liquid foundations and not powder foundations so I cannot comment on how it would work with it. I will be buying this again as it is great to use when you want more definition and a healthy glow. -

I love the original Hoola shade especially in the summer but felt it was a little too dark for me in the winter. The original is still my go-to as a contour on my face and crease of my eyes. If I want a more natural look, I use the lite version as the main colour on my eyes and as a blusher. Both versions of Hoola work well together and separately. If I want a no makeup look I will use the lite version as contour, eyeshadow and blusher. When I want a more polished natural look I will first contour with the original then the lite. Since using the lite version, I have had comments of how fresh faced I am. Using different sized brushes give different looks – big fluffy brush will give a more natural look. A blusher brush will give a more defined look. I have worn Hoola Lite as my contour along with Gold Digger blusher and they are the perfect partners. I just hope that a mini and jumbo version follow soon. -

I try and avoid products with parabens in as I know my skin doesn’t like them but as I wear this over my foundation I have not had any problems. I use this as a contour and as an eyeshadow if I want a quick make-up routine. I always tap off the excess as it is a bit fark for me as I have pale skin. After using the brush that comes with the bronzer I always use a big blending brush to make sure I have blended it all in. This is a product that I use regularly and will re-purchase it again. I had a make-up lesson at Debenhams and they used the Hoola Lite on me which was a better colour for me. If the lite version isn’t available, I will buy the original Hoola. -

This looks very shimmery in the bullet. It glides onto the skin smoothly and is easy to blend into the skin leaving a natural sheen to the area that the product has been applied to. I also put a dot in the inner corner of my eyes to illuminate them and hopefully make me look more awake than I feel. This is one of the products I regularly use when I am feeling more confident and want my family to know that I am in a good place. I will be re-purchasing it and the other version of this. -

It looks like it should be painted on my nails rather than my cheeks and underneath my eyebrows. It looks shimmery too. I am 42 and feel that it maybe not right for me but I will try it anyway. After applying my make-up, I dot three dots of product along the top of my cheek bone and blend it in with my finger. It looks luminescent and leaves a soft glow to the tops of my cheek bones. Under my eyebrow I dot one dot of product and again blend with my finger, it looks natural. When I use it under my foundation I put a swipe of the product along my cheek bones, my forehead, centre of my nose and chin. Then blend it with my BeautyBlender. For quickness I mix one swipe of the product with my foundation and then apply it with my BeautyBlender. For me this is a product to use when I go out and want to look refreshed and glowing but not in an over top way. -

Am I the only one that appreciates all the effort Benefit takes with not only the product they are making but the packaging, well laughter is the best cosmetic and I always chuckle to myself when I look at this bottle. I chose shade 1 as it is the lightest in their range. As I have been using UltraSun Family 30 when I leave the house I have a slight tan – don’t normally tan just go red. I thought it might be to light for my skin tone, but this foundation is clever and adapts to the tone of your skin. It toned down my red cheeks but didn’t hide my freckles, I hate foundations that do that, it gave my skin a healthy glow/sheen. It’s not a matte finish or a dewy finish it is something in between and being a certain age, I thought it might be the wrong foundation for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It looked natural and didn’t make me look as if I was wearing foundation just a healthy version of myself. It’s Benefit of course I will be repurchasing this again. -

I was colour matched after having my brow waxed and tinted by Emma at Benefit Stand, Grand Central, Birmingham and thought that the colour was a little too dark for me. But I was so wrong. In the previous new launch of a Benefit foundation (Hello Happy) I am a shade 1 but this time I was a shade 2. Emma applied it using a sponge but at home I apply it with a Real Techniques foundation brush (I must get a new BeautyBlender). It goes on like a dream, isn’t patchy after a few hours wear and looks perfect in every light due to the photochromic pigments. It reduces that the redness on my cheeks, chin and nose but the best part of this foundation it doesn’t hide my freckles. My skin tone looks even and with a dewy glow that a woman aged 44 must create with highlighter. It doesn’t feel as if I have any foundation on, it just looks and feels like my skin but better, healthier. The benefit does it again, creates another new favourite go-to product. -

This pencil has a diamond shaped tip rather than a normal pencil tip. The point of the diamond is great for creating strokes if you have a small area to fill in for example a missing tail or front of your eye brow like I have. The fatter end is best for filling in large areas or going over the whole of the eyebrow. I like this pencil for giving me a more natural looking brow and creating hairs where I have some missing. I like to use this pencil when I don’t want to wear my basic face, just eyebrows, eyeliner and mascara. This is my sitting in the house kind of face or popping to the shops. Every person is different and will have an arsenal of products for different days or make-up. This product is in my basic-basic make-up along with Benefit Badgal Bang and Benefit Badgal Waterproof eyeliner which means I will be repurchasing it. -

The gel looks too dark on the brush and I think I have picked the wrong shade – I am using Dark 5 as my natural eyebrow colour is dark brown. Though I have a gap at the front of my right brow and my tails are not long enough. The right amount of product is on the brush for each brow. Firstly, I swipe the brush against the hair growth. Then with the hair growth. I use the point of the brush to fill in the front gap. I really like this, and it makes my brows look natural. I wouldn’t leave the house even on my bad days without using this product. Yes of course I will be re-purchasing this item as I love it and is the best eyebrow product I have used in the past – even eye shadow. -
