I had bought this as I wanted to wear eyeshadow for a family event and wasn’t sure what I was wearing clothes wise, so I wanted a neutral eye palette, this is it. It is a palette that should be in everyone’s arsenal as each eyeshadow can be worn individually, or as two complimentary shades or as three, but the ultimate look is as the four together. The pigment gives you the option to have a subtle barely there or a very noticeable colour to your eyes by building up the colour. For me this is great as I gain confidence in applying eyeshadow, I can increase the intensity of the colour that I am applying. There is little to no fall out from the shadows which is great, and they didn’t irritate my eyes. -

I have been wearing UltraSun Family 30 on my face and have a slight tan, along with more freckles. This means that my The Ordinary Serum Foundation is a little pale and the Dew the Hoola looked a little dark for me, so I mixed the two together and applied it using my damp BeautyBlender. This warmed up my foundation and made it more the colour I am without hiding my freckles. I must admit that I am a little afraid to use this on my skin before and after applying my foundation. -

I purchased this item on an impulse. I had seen it when I go to have my eyebrows waxed and tinted and thought it wasn’t for me – I was wrong I love it. It is not as in your face as High Beam. It gives the skin a lovely healthy shimmer on the tops of the cheeks. There is a shimmer to it, but it is the shimmer that looks natural and for someone of my age is the nice shimmer not an old bat trying to recapture her youth. I also like putting a small amount on the centre of my eyelid when I want to look more awake than I am. A swipe under the arch of the eyebrow is fantastic at opening the eye. If I am going for a more natural awake look I also apply a tiny amount to the inner corners of my eyes. -

As I have stated before I prefer to use products that don’t contain parabens. There is a faint fragrance of citrus that doesn’t linger once you have applied the product using the brush that comes with it. Like all Benefit Blushers the brush correctly applies the blusher in the right place and the right amount. On the days I don’t want to wear Hoola, I apply Dallas as a contour and as an eye-shadow. This has joined Dandelion and Hoola as my go-to products when I feel that I need a healthy glow. -

The colour in the box is rather a bright coral but once you use the brush to apply the blusher, it gives a nice glow to the cheeks. It has a pearly tinge to it which helps reflect the light. The shape of the brush helps apply it to your cheeks in the correct place and delivers the right amount of product and blends well. It doesn’t go patchy or fades, it lasts all day. The colour is great for summer and when you feel the need to give yourself a healthy glow on those days you feel that you look pale. I would re-purchase this blusher because a girl can’t have too many blushers. There is a fragrance to this product which isn’t overpowering and reminds me of fruit cocktails. -

This silver tube holds some sort of magic. One click per eye brow is all you need. I personally start with the area of concern for example I start at the front for my right eyebrow and the tail of my left eyebrow. The tip of the tube is like a comb which disperse the product along each eyebrow. This is the last step in my morning and evening routine before applying it I wipe my eyebrows to remove any serums or moisturiser. I will post photos of my right eyebrow to show developments. I will be re-purchasing this product. -

As you can probably guess I am a fan of Benefit Cosmetics and like to try products when they release them. As soon as I saw this, I knew I would like it and I do. My brows are looking better than they did a few years ago due to the wax and tinting I have had done at Benefit concessions but due to lockdown I have not had anything done since March. I bought this as I wanted to add structure to my brows and fill in missing areas because of age and overplucking. This does this and more, I like the way my brows look with this, and I have used it with Gimme Brow+ and Precisely, My Brow. This is a great foundation product to create brows that are natural or to be able to add different brow products for different looks. My only complaint is that it is not available in grey. -

I am the type of person that knows she needs concealer but doesn’t know where to apply it. When I went to have my Brow Wax and Tint with Emma at John Lewis Grand Central Birmingham, she colour-matched me and applied it to my under-eye area, nose and chin to reduce the redness. I was impressed with how my skin look with just the concealer on. I was surprised that she had used shade 3 on me. I thought I would have been shade 1 or 2. It was the Beauty Product of the Month on QVCUK. I am glad I did. I don’t have to wear a full face of foundation every day I can apply concealer to the same areas that Emma did, apply liner and mascara and I am set for the day. It is the perfect look for a jeans and t-shirt kind of day. This is the only concealer I will be using from now on. -

I bought the mini version of the Badgal Waterproof Eyeliner to see if I could use it to tight-line my eyes and how I looked with them done. I now wish I had the full size as I like the way my eyes look. It is a brilliant soft pencil that draws lines both below and above the eyelashes. It lasts all day and for a waterproof eyeliner most make-up removers remove it easily without too much rubbing. I have worn it with the Benefit They’re Real Push Up liner in Black and Purple, it made my eyes stand out more. I have always liked the shape and colour of my eyes and now that my close vision is slowly deteriorating I should hate them, but I still like the and enjoy trying new looks. Once I have used this little pencil up I will be repurchasing it in a bigger size. -

I have in the past used coloured eyeliners but have always gone back to either black or brown. I liked but not love the They’re Real Eyeliner, I found I had issues with the green, blue and purple eyeliners. I wasted more on a sheet of tissue than I had put on my eye. They would release product when not in use and would break off when I applied them. When I saw that Benefit had released a new eyeliner, I couldn’t wait for my Brow Wax and Tint appointment to try it. Emma at John Lewis, Grand Central Birmingham demonstrated the purple and blue. I am glad that I tried the blue first as this is the colour and texture of and eyeliner I have been looking for. It is soft and easy to apply without having to prime it first. It glides onto my eye lids without pulling the skin. It lasts without smudging or fading. I haven’t tight lined my eyes for awhile as I have Dry Eye and MGD and some eyeliners irritate my eyes. This doesn’t and I have fallen in love with the way my eyes look once done. In the future, I will tight line my eyes with this and apply Roller Liner as my liner and try the purple, brown and black. -
