During lockdown I have been bleaching and using a semi-permanent dye/conditioner to change my hair colour. I bought this I wanted a shampoo that will clean my hair and allow the bleach to work better without damaging my salt and pepper hair too much. I use this shampoo the week before bleaching my hair and have noticed that the bleach takes better. I love the smell it is not too vinegary which I was a little worried about. My hair feels soft after the first shampoo, and even softer after the second. It washes out easily and there is no residue or foam left. This is now part of my haircare arsenal. -

I bought this to help my hair stay healthy as I have been bleaching and I mean bleaching my hair – using a bleach that lifts my hair by eight levels. I have seen so many TikToks and Instagrams of people losing chunks of their hair and my hair is pixie short. And if I lost any hair it will be noticeable. Some of these shampoos in my previous experience have made my hair feel knotty after the first shampoo, this did not my hair felt cared for. It lathers well and washes out well leaving my hair feeling clean not squeaky clean but healthy clean. I use the size of a fifty pence piece both times I shampoo my hair once a week. It works great with the BeautyPie Super Healthy Hair Repair Treatment and BeautyPie Super Healthy Hair Moisturising Conditioner. My hair does not feel greasy within days I can go longer than a week washing my hair since using these which is great as I do not really want to fade my hair colour at the moment. Another shampoo that should be in anyone’s hair care arsenal. -

Why did I buy this, well that is simple I have heard about tranexamic acid, and I you watch a lot of hospital programmes like me you will hear them mention it so if it is available to use in skincare why not also, I wanted to try a Vitamin C, so I got a product that combined both. I started with four drops a day as part of my morning routine as I had not used this type of product before, and it had been a while since I had used a Vitamin C. I used this amount for at least a week then I increased it by one drop for another week and now I use six drops a day after using the eye cream. I will warn you that the smell is not the best I think of razzle crisps every time I use it but once it is applied to the skin, I do not smell the smell again. My skin loves 6 drops of the product on a daily basis I have found the right amount. I do think trying a small amount of a new product is best to allow your skin to get used it and to see any results. It will be on repeat purchase. -

I use this every day a week before my period is due to help combat the occasional hormonal spots I get. The first month I used it I didn’t really notice much difference. But by month two the hormonal spots didn’t arrive. I don’t get many spots but when I do, they are painful. This has not just reduced the severity of them but also how long they last for. I also use them once a week to help brighten and smooth my skin. Also, for those mornings when you feel your skin needs a little extra help to look its best. These drops should be in everyone’s skincare arsenal. -

I have watched Nadine Baggott recommend this product on numerous occasions, so I bit the bullet and bought it. Oh, I am glad that I did. I was worried that my skin would feel dry and tight as it has done with other powder-based products as my skin can be dry. I should not have worried and no, my face does not look white or pasty just healthy. I use it to set my concealer under my eyes and on my T-zone if I feel a bit shiny. But the one thing I like to use it on my eyelid to set my primer and over the top of my gel eyeliner to set it so that it does not transfer onto my skin just below my eyebrow as I have hooded eyes. It is one of those powders that can be put in your handbag just in case you want to refresh or retouch up certain areas. -

This is a lovely balm cleanser that turns into an oily texture when massaged on to the skin and a milky lotion when water is added. I have used this cleanser as a first cleanse when wearing make-up. It easily removes Benefit They’re Real Tinted Primer and Roller Lash Mascara along with Push Up Liner with minimal effect. It removed all traces of my IT Cosmetics CC+ 50+ without leaving any residue of the foundation or the cleanser. My skin felt and looked cleaning without being dry or needing to apply moisturiser straightaway. I have also used it as a morning cleanse using a muslin cloth to remove the cleanser which again didn’t leave a residue on my skin. I didn’t have any irritations, my skin felt soft and hydrated. I will be honest I wasn’t sure of the concept behind BeautyPie, using this product has made me realise that I don’t have to pay silly high prices to use quality products. I can’t wait to try other products that BeautyPie have on offer. -

Because of my Dry Eye and MGD, I have had to stop wearing powder shadows. I wanted a matte cream eyeshadow that wouldn’t budge, or crease and I think I found it in these shadows. They are creamy, easy to apply straight from the bullet or with a brush. They can be blended to create a smoky eye or patted onto the eyelid using a finger to create a light wash of colour. They can be worn together or separately. Once applied they didn’t crease or smudge or move as some eyeshadows have done. I still had them on when I was completing my night time cleansing routine. They are easy to remove using any form of cleanser you use. I have only tried two colours but I will be trying more in the future. -

I was looking for an eyeliner that I could smudge or leave how I had drawn the line on that wouldn’t budge. This is it. I can use it to draw a flick and line or just a line and smudge it. Even drawing a simple fine line and not smudging it can be done with this eyeliner. I like to vary how I apply my eyeliner on a daily basis. I like that this pencil has a built-in smudger so no need to carry around an extra one. It doesn’t leave a black line between my crease and eyebrow like some eyeliners I have used in the past have done. It doesn’t crease or fade like other eyeliners. Once applied it stays where I have put it – no panda eyes at the end of the day (which isn’t a nice look on me). It comes off easily with whatever cleanser I have used be it Micellar water or the JapanFusion Pure Transforming Cleanser. Only then do I like panda eyes because I know the cleanser has dissolve all of my mascara. I will be repurchasing this and the other colour way of Soft Brown. -

I don’t have a problem with spots, so I gave it to my 14-year-old son who has a spotty forehead which he doesn’t like. He applied to his forehead morning an evening after washing his face. The sample size gave him enough for a week and in that week he noticed a huge improvement in his spots. He didn’t get any more and those he had were at first less red and sore, gone by the end of the week. He would re-purchase this as this is the first product that has helped him with his spots. More importantly he liked using it as it was an invisible gel that he could applied directly on his spots individually or all over his forehead, his friends didn’t notice he was using a spot cream and when you are a 14-year-old that is so important. -

This is a very thick product and the jar made it difficult for me to get small amounts out. It is a lovely luxurious exfoliator that smells good enough to eat. My skin loved this product and even though I massaged it a little to hard in places I did not find the grainy rough on my sensitive skin. It turned into a milky consistency when I stood under the shower and wash off brilliantly, I wasn’t felt with grains on my body like I have with other exfoliators. My skin felt nourish and hydrated that I did not need to apply a body moisturiser afterwards. I would re-purchase this if it came in a better jar. -
