The Full Set (Hot Damn, Alabama Slammer, Purple Haze, Kamikaze, Knockout, Snakebite)
These apply nicely from the bullet and are not drying as some matte lipsticks. They last all day. Even though they are matte, they are creamy in texture and very moisturising. The colours are scary when viewed from the bullet but once applied to the lips they are subtle that can be built up for a more intense colour. You do not need to use a lipliner as they do not bleed.
Below is the colours and when I would choose to wear them/;
Knockout – every day wear.
Hot Damn – special occasions when you want to feel vampy
Alabama Slammer – smart casual look
Purple Haze – scary not a me colour
Kamikaze – when wearing a neutral palette – a jeans and jumper kind of day
Snakebite – Date night

This thick cream absorbs quickly into the skin and I can see a difference in the tone of my skin immediately. It looks brighter, nourished and firmer. I apply the had cream as part f my morning and evening routine. It doesn’t leave a residue or fragrance – I can hold things in my hands as it is not sticky. Hands look hydrated. With each application my hands are improving. There is an improvement of the elasticity, evenness in skin tone. Though I don’t have wrinkles the texture, firmness and smoothness of them has improved. They look younger. I know that some people have put it on their face as they have seen an improvement in the skin on their hands I must admit I haven’t tried it but will when I don’t have any moisturiser. This is the best hand cream I have used as I have a Dyshidrotic Eczema and have found that some hand creams/lotions that make it worse, they don’t alleviate the itchiness and dryness that the steroid cream can cause. This cream did that after the first application. -

This is currently being used by my hubby as he has oily skin which is prone to breakouts. This soap with the combination of using Glycolic Acid and Micellar Cleansing water my husband has found that there is a reduction in breakouts and they don’t last as long as they had previously along with not being as painful as they have been. He uses the soap wen he is in the shower or having a shave. His skin is not as oily as it has been and is not dry as some spot treatment soaps have left his skin. He is so impressed with this product that he will be purchasing another one before his has finished his first bar. -

My first impression was that I had bought the wrong one as the colours seemed very bright and shimmery for me aged 42 to wear. I was wrong they are highly pigmented so that means a little goes a long way. They are buildable if you want an intense colour and can be worn on their own to create an easy smoky eye. Or you can use two – I have only ever worn two of these shades together as they are highly pigmented. I prefer a brush rather than the sponge applicator as I can control the intensity and placement better with a brush. For quickness and a different look, I have used the darker shades as an eyeliner, they didn’t last as long as a normal eyeliner but worked well when I wanted a certain colour to match my outfit or accessory. Would I re-purchase them to be honest I am not sure, my confidence in wearing make-up at the moment is very low and I just want a quick easy look plus I feel as a 42-year-old the colours are not mute enough for me to wear day in day out. -

To me these are more the colours I would wear on a regular basis even if I was wearing t-shirt and jeans. The paler shades are great to use as a base all over the eye lids before putting on the darker shades or other eyeshadows. They can be worn on their own or layer with other shadows to create a more sophisticated look. Out of this palette I would say the pale pink and lilac shades are the ones I wear the most as the go with everything. I have used the darker shadows as eyeliner on their own and they look fantastic. There are mattes and shimmers which when worn together can look natural or vamped up for a night time look – I am confident that I will be re-purchasing this palette as I am confident and comfortable wearing all the shades even at my age of 42. -

In my house a cleanser needs to suitable a few skin types such as oily, dry and sensitive. It needs to be quick and easy (my two boys) as well as the ability to take time (me). This does it perfectly. There is no fragrance (great for teenage boys). Neutral packaging again great for those teenage boys who don’t want to reduce their street cred. My two teenager boys have very different skin not just to me (44) but each other. One has acne prone skin and the other does not have any breakouts. We all love to use this as a little amount is enough to cover the face, neck and décolleté. The muslin cloth provided is perfect to remove the cleanser from the face, it also has a fine exfoliating effect. It can be used as a first cleanse in the morning or as a double cleanse in the evening. I like to use the cleanser as a massage lotion when applying it to my face and this has enough slip to enable me to this without sinking into my skin. We have all commented that our skin does not feel tight or dry once we have used it. We will be repurchasing this -

I bought this as I have dark circles especially when my anxiety is not allowing me to sleep properly. I had high hopes for this but it did not work for me. I tried applying it on its own, under concealer and I just felt that it emphasised them, making them look greasy. I could feel it on my skin. Sorry its a big no from me. -

It was on offer when I bought the treatment kit and bought the two together. After trying the one sachet from the treatment kit I had hoped that as I could use more shampoo then I might not have the same problem as before. I was wrong my hair felt swollen, plasticky and rough after the first shampoo. It rinsed out easily so applied a little more shampoo, but my hair felt weird wrong and stiff. No, I will not be buying this again. -

I had hoped to go to a hairdressers to change my hair colour I had it all planned but lockdown happened. So that scuppered that. In steps hubby and says he will do it as long as I buy a treatment kit to keep my hair in condition. This was the purchase. Three steps so not complicated. Can buy the bigger sizes of everything from a local store. Great just what I need. Unfortunately, my hair just did not like it. From the first time I used the shampoo my hair felt swollen, plasticky, rough and was in large clumps. Rinsed it out and tried another wash with the remaining shampoo in the sachet, my hair left the same again. When my hair reacts like that I know that it does not like the products and not to use them. Then I applied the whole sachet of the conditioner – it does say two applications but I knew I needed to load my hair with conditioner as it would be very dry. There is one patch of my hair that felt swollen and rough even with loads of the conditioner. I left it on while I washed my body in the shower then rinsed it off. My hair just did not feel healthy, it felt dry. I gently towel-dried and applied the leave-in treatment, still did not feel better. Once my hair had air dried it looked greasy and weighted down. I needed to wash my hair within two days of using this and I can and do only wash my hair once a week. Sorry will not be buying this again. -

My hubby and I have been using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, he had read an article in a newspaper and wanted to try it. This has a fresh smell and both of us like it. It cleanses the skin well and copes brilliantly with Benefit Roller Lash, it removes it without much rubbing. I would hold the cotton pad to my eye for a few seconds before gently swiping it away. There is no residue or stickiness, the fragrance doesn’t last long on the skin once the water is swiped over the skin. We use both sides of the cotton pad remembering to wipe behind our ears. Think we will be buying more of it and other products from their range. -
