If you are like me and have seen this range when out shopping and was unsure whether to try them I would say, try them especially when they are offer. If I hadn’t watched an empties episode on Caroline Hiron’s YouTube channel, I wouldn’t have bought it when they were on offer in my local Boots. The shampoo is more of a jelly consistency than a liquid which is a plus point as you are less likely to spill it when using it in the shower – I am that person who spills shampoo in the shower then slips on it. My hubby now stays upstairs when I am in the shower in case I have an accident. Right back to the shampoo. You only need a small amount of the shampoo to get a decent lather for a first wash. Some shampoos I have used in the past require a lot of product to obtain the lather that this shampoo gave me. The shampoo rinses out well and my hair is squeaky clean. I always shampoo my hair twice as it is thick and like double cleansing my skin at night I have the opinion that the first shampoo removes any pollution and product, the second wash makes sure that my hair is clean. Each time I shampoo my hair I take time to massage the product into my scalp to make sure that my scalp is clean too. I have dark brown hair that is going salt and pepper, to enhance my grey hairs I picked this version of shampoo, when I have run out I will be purchasing a different one to try as I like the way my hair feels after I have washed my hair – it is soft and manageable, I don’t have frizzy hair it is smooth and nourished. Some shampoos I have used in the past have left crunchy patches of hair especially at the back, this shampoo hasn’t. The shampoo has a faint fragrance another plus point for me as I don’t like heavily fragranced shampoos. -

I was kindly sent this to review by NYX. The brush is a weird shape which I have never seen on a mascara before. It is hourglass shaped but also rounded. The bristles are all the same length. It also has a swiper in the tube so that the brush has the right amount of product on. I found it difficult to apply to my inner corner lashes as I couldn’t figure out how best to hold the brush to get them – I did poke myself in the eye several times. It applies lovely and has a matte finish which I love. The first week I only wore one coat and didn’t notice much lift effect to my lashes. The second week onwards I applied two coats and saw a lift in my lashes. My lashes in with two coats were flexible and didn’t clump. The only downside to this mascara is that it dropped and as someone with Dry Eye it is not good to get bits of mascara in my eyes. I would have liked bristles on the end so that I could hold the brush vertical in order to apply mascara to the inner corner lashes. -

his has a metallic smell almost a copper smell. It is a straw-coloured liquid – it’s not quite water nor is it as thick as a serum. I use 3 drops which I spread between my fingers then pat over my face and neck. Starting at the base of neck in small circular motions I massage the serum into my neck working upwards to my face. Once I have massages into my skin, I gently press the serum into my skin. It doesn’t leave a residue and my skin absorbs it quite quickly. Don’t be tempted to to put another layer on as that would waste the product. Your skin will benefit from the different molecular weights/sizes as they can penetrate the skin and work at different levels. I would re-purchase this serum again as I have noticed a huge difference in the texture and tone of my skin. Fine lines look plumper. -

Did you know that if you have an Alexa or Google you can ask them to send you samples, neither did I until I had an email from a company (Beauty Markdown). I tried it and got this mini. I like a mascara that makes my lashes look their best and this mascara did it. It did not smudge or flake. Just stayed how I had applied it. If I wanted a more dramatic look, I would wait a few seconds and apply a second coat. It did not clump just separated and made my lashes look black, defined and with volume. My lashes did not feel heavy or crunchy nor did they stick together when I blinked like some have done in the past. -

After trying various brands and shades I have found the perfect shade of grey for me. This is my go-to colour and will be on my nails for the foreseeable future. Not only is it the right pale shade but it lasts ages, is easy to take off and brilliant to apply. Two coats are enough, and it does not streak. Lasts more than two weeks and for me there is no glitter in it. I am sorry but I am a woman of a certain age that thinks and feels that glitter is not for them be it in make-up or nail polish. It is the perfect neutral that goes with anything and everything I am a person that lives in jeans, t-shirt, and hoodies. This colour works brilliantly. I will try other colours – maybe not as I love this colour too much. -

At night, I use a small amount of the cream which I have warmed up between my fingers. Using slow upward movements, I massage the product into my face, neck and décolletage. Unlike other night creams it is not a heavy, greasy cream but a light cream that does not feel a sticky residue on the skin. The morning after I applied this cream for the first time I noticed that my skin looked hydrated and the appearance of some of my fine lines were reduced. The tone of my skin has improved over the use of the product. My cheeks and nose which are red were not as red as they usually are. My foundation blended into my skin better. I would re-purchase this product again if it was in a kit as the price of the product on its own is a little amount of my price range. -

This product is to be used at night. I like that the pump dispenses the right amount of product to be used between both eyes especially when tired. At first, I pat the product using my ring fingers around the orbital bone. Then slowly massaging it in, in circular motions paying particular attention to the areas I have a problem with – the crow’s feet and fine lines. Finally, I gently pat all around the orbital bone again so that the product is massaged in. The first morning after applying it the night before I noticed that there was an improvement in the look of my fine lines and firmness. I like this product and would re-purchase it if it was kit as a standalone product the price of it is out of my range. I have noticed a difference in my crow’s feet and the firmness of the eye area. I have one wrinkle that was to me very noticeable that has reduced since using this product. -

This was the third brand I used to change my hair colour, and this was the best one, not only because it left my hair feeling soft and the colour was magnificent, but it also lasted for more than 8 weeks – I only wash my hair once a week. When it faded it did not fade patchy but perfectly even. It is like using a hair mask, but it also deposits colour either to enhance your natural colour or to change it. The smell makes me want to use it as it is so nice. With every wash it faded slightly but not patchy like others. It took well over the whole of my bleached hair it was not patchy, there was no more than enough for my growing out pixie. I have some other colours left and even though I have dark brown hair now I think I will use them over the top to see if they make any difference to the colour as I know it will improve the condition of my hair. I will let you know. -

I received this product in a beauty box subscription, I cannot remember which one or month. I must have poured more into the shower than my hand. It had a strange smell that was pleasant at first but after a while I didn’t like it. It applied easily despite me spilling quite a lot. It massaged into the skin well and turned milky when I stood under the shower. My poor skin didn’t like it and even my palms started itching as I washed it off. I won’t be re-purchasing this product. -

I was kindly sent the Mineral Cleansing Paste by Merumaya to try. I use this as my morning cleanse on the days that I am not going to wear makeup and as a second cleanse on the evenings I have been wearing makeup. I wouldn’t call it a paste but a rich luxurious cream that has exfoliating particles in it. An amount the size of a pea is enough to massage into my face, neck and décolleté. There is a slight fragrance that does not last long. Not only do the particles exfoliate the skin but I have noticed that they help improve the circulation of my skin. Adding a little water enables me to massage the areas such as the side of the nose and chin where I have congestion more easily. It can be splashed off, but I like to use a muslin cloth as some cleansers with particles in them leave behind the particles – this didn’t nor was there any residue or tightness to my skin. I would use this as a second cleanse after using the Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm to remove my makeup. This works well in conjunction with the Cleansing Balm and Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Tonic along with Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème. You can pat your skin dry after using it, but I prefer to leave my skin to dry naturally. -
