The Mango Coconut flavour of Brookside Tablet Bar was the one I was most looking forward to trying, and it definitely did not disappoint. This one was by FAR our favourite of the three flavours we tried. It was crunchy and tangy and brought immediate thoughts of lying on a beach in a sunny tropical destination to mind. We both LOVED it and will for sure be buying it in the future. Highly recommended! -

I was excited to try this flavour of new Brookside Chocolate tablet, although was a bit concerned I wouldn't love the Pomegranate added flavour. The cherry and rice crisps, however, made up for it and both my husband and I ended up really enjoying this bar. I would recommend it. -

Mary Kay Satin Hands Set
I love the Satin Hands set! Makes my hands so soft! I love that I don't have to keep re-applying the hand cream after I wash my hands too - it keeps them from drying out over several hand washings! The peach scent is my favourite, hands-down... +
I love the Satin Hands set! Makes my hands so soft! I love that I don't have to keep re-applying the hand cream after I wash my hands too - it keeps them from drying out over several hand washings! The peach scent is my favourite, hands-down. It reminds me of those fuzzy peach candies! It also comes in Vanilla and fragrance free, but I'm all about the Peachy scent.
The hand softener is also great if you have dry cracked heels too. A thick layer of that stuff and then socks on and your feet feel so soft in the morning. I also sometimes use it on my elbows and knees, as well as hands and feet.
The price for the set of 3 products is excellent because they will last you a very long time! Try it out and I promise you won't be disappointed!

AG re:coil curl activating balm
I have had really good luck with A/G re:coil curl activator. I put it in my towel dried but damp (scrunched, not rubbed with towel) hair and then use my fingers to twist curls and ringlets and then air dry. I've found this product really helps... +

I put it in my towel dried but damp (scrunched, not rubbed with towel) hair and then use my fingers to twist curls and ringlets and then air dry. I've found this product really helps them stay looking great when dry. It gives my hair a soft, tousled, "beachy" curls type of look and I love it!
It was a gift from a friend, but she got it at a salon in downtown Toronto. I believe she said it was about $18 or so. Give it a try!

I have tried many eye creams over the years, ranging in quality and price and effectiveness from useless to good. But I'd never found one that I really felt made much of a difference with fine lines and brightness. The best I could say is that some of them provided good moisturization.
I am SO happy to report that this year I've finally found one that I'm 100% happy with! So happy that I tell almost every woman I know they need to try this product! The Mary Kay Firming Eye Cream, simply put, WORKS! After just one use you can see visible brightening and reduction in fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. I advise trying just one eye at first, then wait a minute or so before doing the other eye area so that you can see the difference. Even my husband could tell after I'd done just one under-eye area - he knew right away which eye I'd used it on!! You just pat a very tiny amount on from the outer corner down along the eye socket bone and it absorbs upward so that you're not tugging on that sensitive and vulnerable under-eye skin.
My friend Robin used to order $100 eye cream from the US before trying this one after I recommended it to her and now she is addicted too! All I can say is that if you're concerned about fine lines around your eyes, you gotta try it!
Mary Kay Canada - I give you an A on this one! Keep it up!

However, this stuff is SOOO sticky! My hair constantly gets stuck in it and then smears it across my face. It drives me crazy! I won't throw it out as I hate to waste the money but frankly I can't wait until it's gone.
So in summary, no matter how pretty it is, I will not be buying Juicy Tubes ever again. There are other brands of gloss that come in pretty colours that are not so sticky, and they will be getting my dollars.

I've become a huge fan of this conditioner from Pureology. I tried it at the salon and just had to buy it (which is a bit out-of-character for me!) It smells like peppermint and is so refreshing and instantly energizing! They promise longer lasting hair colour "guaranteed". It is a very moisturizing conditioner and I do feel it helps to extend the life of my colour.
It's also organic and 100% vegan.
